Rayman 1 music is spicy and needs to be extended doesn't it?

Ayo Tl;dr it's been over 10 years since I've been around, and I was mostly an IRC user, I assume RayFan and PowerPatrick are no longer around, but who knows maybe DesLife and Serza still might be.
At any rate, Rayman 1 is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, and I've long desired extended soundtracks of literally everything off the album, even the short bits, so I figured it might as well be time to begin.
Apologies if Dropbox links look sus I can't fit this as an attachment without butchering the audio and I don't think it's ready to upload to YouTube or SoundCloud yet. I've always wanted extended versions of literally every single audio file from Rayman 1, and at this point after learning the original maestro is gone, I figure we might as well just go for it ey?

I while ago I
remade and extended a bunch of tracks from Rayman 1, if that's of any interest to you. (My personal favourites here are Across Anguish Lagoon, Suspense, and Harmony -- I wanted to make more at some point)

So I had several very specific messages and responses both prepared and saved, but despite it saying they were saved I can't find them and this site seems to have very specific things for me to use, so I'mma just send a special version of a track I greatly enjoy before I have to leave in an hour for my trip, and we'll deal with the rest later:

That is a really pretty song, I'm impressed with the instrumentation, whoever made it clearly has a really good understanding of 80's/Asian ballads and their gorgeous harmonic (lel) voicings

Well........ I wish but no lol. That is suspiciously similar to my long-term goal, but I can see why they opted for something completely different instead of trying to improve upon perfection. Those are some big shoes to attempt to fill. I tend to default to changing things drastically too, it feels very difficult to be faithful to the original.
So as an example I really wanted to remake this one, but the closest I got was this, and even this is pretty rough:

If I was generous I'd say I'm at least 20-40 years off being able to make what I desire to. I did also very strongly dislike the new soundtrack though lol, even some of my scrapped content I sometimes liked more which for me speaks volumes about my opinion on it.
