I'm trying to find the audio file of Rayman's "YEAH" voice from Rayman 1, but without the jingle that follows. I currently own the MS-DOS version from GOG, but after checking the files in the game folder, I still can't find this individual voice clip.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help!

To my knowledge, the YEAH! is part of the jingle itself, rather than a separate sound. Because of this, your best bet to just get the YEAH! sound would be to download the jingle and cut it right before the music starts.

It’s from Getting Closer by Nitzer Ebb, so maybe you could find clips from there.

Incorrect, the YEAH! is a separate sound in the PC version. There is a way to extract it, I just need to remember what that is…
EDIT: Here you go! The attached ZIP file contains two versions of the WAV – one runs at 10 kHz like it does in the PC version of Rayman 1, and the other runs at 11.025 kHz, which is more standard, like it does in Rayman Designer and other spinoffs

That sound can be heard in some songs because it's an audio sample from Zero-G: Datafile 3 CD that was used by Remi Gazel when he worked on Rayman 1 (in fact in this same cd you can find other samples used in the game )
You can find the "YEAH" sample here at 1:00:05 and the jingle after it a few samples later

I think the guy is Nitzer Ebb, as the Zero G Datafile Vol 2 was released in 1991 and is the oldest sample of it I could find, whilst Getting Closer was released in 1990.

Do you have a source for the complete datafile? I found a video of this on YouTube but it only goes up to 100 tracks. I'm sure there's more than that in this CD, given it's a datafile.

Oh wow, I am surprised to see that many of you didn't know it was a sample!
I think this video was already shared in this forum, but if you're interested you can watch it to can see many other known samples used in the original Rayman trilogy!
