Alright so today I was having a discussion with my friends over Rayman games, and I mentioned how I was surprised that I didn’t play RL as a child as my siblings would’ve loved it.

So I went to look up a blonde princess as I was guessing what characters my sister was gonna play as (she’s blonde and played blonde characters)

Then I realized

Not a SINGLE Princess is blonde?? They’re all either gingers, brunettes or have dyed hair…

This is so bizarre to me? In the previous game we had a blonde Nyphm, and Rayman is blonde… but not a single princess is?

This is legitimately bizarre. They made a princess of hell but not a blonde princess? They had so many skins, and not a SINGLE ONE WAS BLONDE, even in adventures!

So.. what’s the deal??

The main CHARACTER is blonde! So the lack of a blonde princess? Bizarre!!

Is there a reason for this? Genuinely, the fact there’s 2 with pink hair but not one blonde is genuinely insane?

So… why isn’t there a blonde princess??

I never noticed that, that is quite strange. They have green hair and purple hair, but no blondies? The closest there is to a blonde princess is Barbara's design in Rayman Adventures, and even that's up for debate.

This is truly one of the travesties of all time.

Because none of the princesses suited blonde hair.

In my opinion, Rayman's hair has always looked more orange or yellow-orange to me than blonde, but I get the point.

Like Greengoop said, maybe blonde hair just didn't fit any of their designs - or maybe because blonde-haired princesses are a very common stereotype, Ubisoft deliberately avoided that with their warrior princesses. Who knows

Why is this turning into a debate on whether or not Rayman is ginger or blonde?

Cuz all I asked is why yall think there is a lack of blonde princesses.

Because it is important to be certain of what we have before moving on to what we do not have.

I always thought Rayman was strawberry blonde. (Rayman 3 onwards, anyways.)

Are there any skins for the princesses in Rayman Adventures that are blonde maybe?

And I mean...You could also just mod any one of them in Legends to be blonde.

Okay, can’t she just play as another character? You don’t have to look like yourself in game.

I guess we can all agree that Rayman is not a princess, at any rate.

Looking at a list of character skins in Rayman Legends/Adventures, I'd say Emma might be the closest to blonde, maybe? More of a dirty blonde, perhaps. I mean, technically you could mod any one of them or even the Teensy Queen, to be blonde.

...Does the Golden Teensy count as blonde?
