Rayman Pirate-Community

This is the first episode of a series named "Rayman The King", a show drawn and animated by Tursku. I am involved regarding some other assets, which you will see in the credits.

Note: This show contains swearing and is not supposed to be taken too seriously.

Already said this in the comments, but the animation reminded me a lot of Ren and Stimpy, and I absolutely lovr it for that! This is what an actually good edgy Rayman is like (cough cough, Captain Lazerhawk).

I love it for this reason too. Personally I just really don't like anything about CLH. I felt it tried too hard. This though, I just love it because it's random, and the good type of "edgy". I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I definitely gave it a good try. My microphone was a potato, so I have a better one for the next episode when the time comes. Initially me being Globox was decided by Tursku because everyone already sees me as a green Globox. I agreed to it and tried it out. I have to say it was a lot of fun, and I look forward to working on more of it!

EDIT: For the record, my accent sounds nothing like that. I have an extremely Irish accent, I just felt like trying to change it to suit Globox better.

EDIT 2: Also to be honest I think Tursku did a good André, it made it sound funny.

I like the Globox voice. Also, some great reaction gifs could be made from this episode, I took the liberty of making one.

Strong agree with this statement!

"GLOBOX! HELP ME! I'M SCARED! NOOOOOOOOOO!"

I think that was funny and so cartoony, it was perfect. I also must note that the crying part wasn't that easy and I was giving myself a headache with it, but I felt like it turned out really funny in the end watching it back.

Glad you like that scene, it's one of my favourite parts too. It was fun recording that, where I had to say "fucking asshole" in Globox's voice.

It was interesting trying to be expressive, since Globox never really sounds angry. It would be hard to sound angry anyway in the Rayman 2 style we went for. Being sad or scared though seemed to work.

Glad you're looking forward to more! I'm also looking forward to working on more of it. It will understandably take a few months since Tursku is drawing and animating everything on his own. So fair play to him for that also!

Great job, guys! I like both the animation and the voice acting. Rayman rolling his Rs was unexpected but somehow works well here.

Thanks, glad you liked it! I was thinking the same thing with Tursku's Rayman voice, the rolling R's and the accent both fit well with him being insane somehow.

My thoughts exactly, it goes really well with his personality here.
