Lately I've been working on a art project named "The Sky is the Limit." It is inspired by the song "Fake Plastic Trees" from Radiohead. The concept of this art is that humanity feels advanced, but we are truly going from the future to the past.
I thought I'd share some of my art on here. It's nothing exciting, especially since most people tend to find this style of art cluttered paint or just a simple design. These images have taken over four hours, even though they look like easy art.
This is a sketch I drew of a city. Rushed, careless, and unexplained. These three characteristics fit to a city, and that's exactly what effort I put into this image. This took me five weeks to simply think of. I added the name "Supderluigi132" instead of RayTunes, as if the image was rushed and the credits were put in incorrectly.
Early art of my new "The Sky is the Limit" project. I found that he box font was perfect for the theme, as every letter is enclosed, stuck in its own world. This image is an early version, it will need some editing.
The boxes on top represent how we have pushed ourselves deeper into today's life. Go to school, get a job, work hard for survival, and forget to realize what we are doing. Yet, we remain optimistic.
I based this image of a window in my room. It's rather blocked off. The image shows only plain details, which can only be identified as clouds because you were told they're clouds.
I'm currently working out a idea for a new sketch, which I hope to make much more detailed then my previous work.

I see something as well: splotches of ink and "simplistic" drawings give the impression of a young person, so in that way it's almost like we're going back in time with ourselves.

Abstract art? No thanks. I prefer paintings that depict, you know, *things*. The ‘humanity is going backwards’ message is also a bit pretentious.

Ooooh, I spy some people who are intent on fucking up a thread because of the potent logical fallacies of an artist's perception.

Shut up, Rayfan.
There was bullshit, which should never go uncalled.
Other than that: Cool blobs and lines I guess. Oh, and boxes.

Did he ever state that this was even relating to the current economical crisis, let alone non-fiction? No, he did not.

The abstract art explores more the sentimental and spiritual feelings of people who observe an artwork inside that style, since there is no concrete object/figure depicted in it.
It isn't an easy art by the way. Look at this painting of Kandinsky for example:

In that case you prefer paintings which depict objects/figures. Which is practically everything else.

Nothing, it's just a Tropes joke about abstract art.

Surreal art has a similar effect, except it features tangible imagery and genuine objects (though they are not always literal and are rarely normal).
Abstract art does nothing for me. No matter how intricate or impressive, it’s still just a shapeless mass of colours and forms with no real subject.

It is a pity because I like abstract paintings, as long they are good enough for me.
But I can somehow agree that the Surreal Art has got a similar language when compared with the Abstract Art since it focus more in spiritual, liberty and irrational content.

Surreal art is personally my favourite. I feel there's often a much more "shocking" meaning behind them.

Anywhiz, I have no idea what all of this is but I think I like it. Feels a bit mysterious, yet in different ways, very obvious. Can't put my finger on why, but it's good.

Abstract art is only for a limited fanbase. Odds are you are considered a "Weirdo" if you like it.
Anyways, I've been working on this for about half year. It's been mostly frustrating, especially as I've only made such little progress and the squares on the second image look awful.
And It's not bullshit, It's a way one likes to express his or hers feelings.

Nono, you misunderstand. This is bullshit:
