Scrapped Rayman Origins Stuff

Hello, I managed to find out lots of information on stuff that didn't make it into the final version of Rayman Origins. Please note, many of you may have heard about some of this, but I'm just posting to let anyone know

Scrapped enemies:
. A purple bird with a mustache and a monocle, possibly the companion of the Hunter
. Ant-like bugs carrying spears
. Bats
. A giant spider
. Zombie chickens
. A reddish bird with a long beak and several feathers on its head
. A large piranha

Scrapped characters:
. A Darktoon-infected Red Wizard with a monstrous look
. A Teensy with a Darktoon on it's head
. A mosquito that has darker fur and long tusks (named "Unibrow Steppe Moskito" in the Daily Bubble)
. Voodoo Mamma

Scrapped worlds/levels:
. Mushroom cavern
. Dragon boss fight (would've been a little different where you could bounce off his belly, the inside of him was larger and longer itself)

If anyone has anything else they know, or wants me to post pictures, just let me know

Tarayzan was scrapped aswell. I guess he was too awesome for an Origins makeover.

He actually was going to be a playable character with Rayman if unlocked, not to mention Uglette, the Magician and a robotic Teensie were intended to be playable as well. I think in Origins world, Rayman is the only known member of his limbless species.

Now that you mention it, a Tarayzan Rayman skin would have been amazing. I'm surprised they didn't include one.

I also looked at some early concepts from videos and pictures and they showed these small, pink Electoon-thingies with several spikes around them and a big smile. They apparently, like Lums, could've been collected from beating enemies.

Also, the rock monster that's fought at the end of Mystical Pique had a different appearence, being covered in moss and had a green-ish color.

There also exist that scrapped nymph who you can see in the artbook of Rayman Origins. I find it very strange that many things get scrapped in the whole Rayman franchise. Of course there use to exist a reason behind it, but it's still frustrating.

Yes, a lot of scrapped stuff I found in the artbook, and I know about the scrapped nymph as well.

If anyone could post pictures and scans from the book, I wouldn't mind at all.

Many things get scrapped in absolutely every franchise.

Yes I know. Maybe I'm not searching deeply enough into other games beta content, but I still think that it's more common here. Like the 2D prototype of Rayman 2, The idea of Rayman Origins being a prequel and the many things scrapped in Rayman 3. Well, it's not a big deal anyway.

EDIT:

Maybe I can scan something from the artbook tomorrow if nobody minds.

Has anyone else seen the original idea of what would happen on the Dragon Chef level? It's sketched in the artbook. I don't read french, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out what they're implying in some parts of that book. Originally Rayman was to get sucked into the dragon's nose, and the he'd have to find the heart, stomach, (Something else I can't remember), and come out the poopy hole.

On the last page of the artbook there's something about Shubamubans, and maybe I'm missing out on something here, but I've never heard of a creature from Rayman with that name.

A shooter level in the "Land of the livid dead" is scrapped, you can find some informations about it in the daily bubble "secrets" (look at the background graphic without all the other stuff).

It would have had the zombie chickens.

Also, the machine resembling the Dragon Chef's heart had a familiar patch on it I positively recognise from Rayman 2. That little thing would have tied the two together for me and it would have filled me 'eart with joy - for whatever reason... Actually, in Moody Clouds, the metal floorboards with railing remind me a LOT of the metal floors the Pirates constructed. It's like they're the same thing, but one of them's rendered three-dimensionally, while the other is drawn with such detail that it might as well have been rendered three-dimensionally with some kind of artistic filter active.
Too bad to hear about the shooter - a most epic shooter of all time would have suited Rayman Origins; seen as how the rest of the Land really puts your skills to the test and seen how all the other shooters already challenged me at times. I'm also sad to not find the discussed Tetris game that was supposedly going to be in Origins. I had been telling my friend 'just you wait, there'll be something you really like in this area' when we reached the icy lands (forgot what they're called for a moment - Lucious Leisures or something?) and then we completed both icy levels and... no Tetris! Or Tetris theme! D: Can anyone link that to me? I would love to have heard it at least once.

It isn't known what creature is about.

It’s Ubbi Dubbi for ‘Shamans’, so it could just refer to the fakirs, but the artbook’s description makes them out to be something more wonderful.

Maybe it's a higher rank of the Fakirs, or maybe the Red Wizards overall? Maybe the regular Glutes think of the Red Wizards as very powerful et cetera, resulting in this?

I know I shouldn't be here right now, but I had to do something on the PC for my exams anyway, so I thought I'd drop in.

On that same page in the artbook and right above the text is a picture of the two Rayman and Globox statues. Wouldn't Shubamubans just refer to those things? And if it doesn't refer to the statues, maybe it refers to the creatures the statues depict, AKA Rayman and Globox themselves. They are quite humorous characters so I can see how they would make Polokus roar with laughter.

It is funny how Ubbi Dubbi looks similar to Ubisoft.
