Here's the thing, I'm not quite worried about the SOPA because its intentions would be the equivalent of a censorship bomb that would destroy the entire internet and invert the freedom of access to information. SOPA is ridiculous. If SOPA got approved, and in the next day I drew a banana, would I get sued for copyright infringement against Mother Nature? Come on .

I'm not stressed about this issue but I'm obviously against this nonsense bullshit.

But yes, I do get that its not easy to make videos for youtube. I know they don't go hurrrdurr in reality and smash the keyboards and see what happens and I know I probably won't be able to do better than them. And don't think that i'm going around saying everyone who joins dA is automaticly a shit artist and a retard. Its just the site and about 70% of the people/things on that site that I hate. Like I said before there are worthwhile artists. I'm just always finding myself in the shitstorm part of the site. Thats why im so biased against it.

I make a game out of finding as many blacked out sites today as possible.

Found around 4 so far. There's probably a complete list somewhere I could look at, but that would be cheating.

Hey, SuperSunshine, I only go to DA with links to who I'm looking for - Raygirl, Spanex, Haruka, my friend Julie D. And what I find is what I like. Very rarely do I use the search function and actually see any of the things other people create, and, if it's not what I'm looking for, I ignore it. Maybe you could try a similar approach if you do like looking at nice art but don't want to fish through a heap of steaming gunk to get there; know what to be looking out for. I do suggest Raygirl - she's an amazing artist.

In regard to DA being filled with sucky artists, I'd say a few of those sucky artists are not art majors and have never had any training, but want to improve. And telling these people they suck is not going to help them improve. I have a DA account (same username) and I admit I am a sucky artist, but I want to improve, and I have. Its hard to tell from what I have up there because I have an aversion to my old drawings, but looking through my sketchbooks I still have come a long way.

Of course, I do not represent all of DA and I agree that there are a few people with no business being there.

I usually just stay off dA and go to different resoruces if im looking for something in general. But yep, I know who you're talking about, she is really good.
