I just wanted to update this to say that my camera has been working perfectly for the past couple of months. Maybe a good ol' smack does sort things out from time to time.

Anyway, my bill expires in 5 months (4 more bills) and then I plan to just keep this phone for the time being. The S8 is actually a really good phone and I love the colours/contrast ratio the screen has. Buying an S9 would be so stupid, as it's basically the same phone with that dual camera feature I really don't need. I'm pretty sure the CPU is extremely marginally better too, meaning I really won't see any difference.

I also ordered a Rayman case for it, which I had to have custom made since the Rayman cases that exist all kind of suck.

I hope it looks nice when it gets here.

Keeping with the Motorola tradition I'm currently using a Moto G6 plus and have been since last year. Next year is going to be a bit awkward because of the current situation with Carphone Warehouse but eh.

Right now I'm using a Motorola G6 Play, and I gotta say, I love the heck out of it. Been with me for more than a year now, and I have no problems with it. Before this I had a G4 Play for 3 years I think, but I switched to this one, because it had way too little RAM. The only thing I wish was different with the current one is the size of the phone, I don't like that it barely fits in some of my pockets, and is just awkward to hold. I swear if I didn't need to use internet and stuff for school, I would change to something like the light phone 2, but for now, I guess I'll stick with it.

My phone died on me and stores are closed because of the outbreak so I'm currently stuck with a prehistorical artifact that would make a cheap burner phone look like the latest iPhone on the market.

Well, at least you have something!

Too bad to hear that, I hope you can get a new phone sooner than later. I'm lucky that I was able to get a new one before the situation got serious.

I ordered another one but deliveries are badly disrupted so it may take a while to arrive.

They don't count phones as essential, though these days we use them so much they may as well be.

Semiconductors in general are essential though.

The screen of my Huawei phone stopped responding, I tried a bunch of different things but at the end I had to send it to a service center, hopefully it can get fixed, but I'm afraid that it is going to take a very long time before I can get it back.

A shitty Huawei phone. I'll be replacing it with an IPhone eventually. I need to play Rayman Mini.

Still using an iphone 6S. My family did change carriers recently and now I’m back with T-Mobile rather than Sprint. I was given the opportunity to trade in my phone yesterday, but after considering it I decided not to trade in bc I don’t want to lose the Rayman apps I still have on my phone, among other things.

As long as my phone is still working, I don’t need a new one.

Still on my FairPhone 2 – the cover is quite scuffed now, but I barely notice that. Still running my own build of LineageOS, with no Google apps installed. I'd like to try running SailFish OS instead, to move even further from the Google/Android ecosystem, but unfortunately I need to use WhatsApp to communicate with coworkers.

A Samsung Galaxy S20+, it was a high school graduation gift for me! Thanks dad!!

I still have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but it does the job! Especially since LineageOS was released for in late April.
