Well I see a nice conversation started.
Might I add something to my previous post, I only miss my childhood friend/cousin. The funny thing is he lives just near me but we never meet because when he's not at school he's playing Assasin's Creed.

I don't usually drink any alcohol, except for very special occasions. I recently discovered a brew called Boswandeling (well, that's its dutch name). It's a strong drink (a whopping 14%) with the flavor of banana, guarana and with a bit of coconut. It tastes sooooo good though. ;~; If only they had such a tasty drink without any alcohol, then I would drink it all day. It's really that good.

Anyway, another thing that came up to mind is when I get my own place, I won't have that neighbor anymore that cooks powerfully smelling asian food. It just comes in, stinking my bedroom up without a warning if I leave the window open for fresh air! D:

I do miss my childhood,yes.

I sort of liked it easy and laid back (I am lazy, lol), but all around, being a teen isn't that hard, either.
All I miss from my childhood, was when cartoons were good, the Sonic fanbase wasn't rabid, and all around..
I still had my copy of Rayman Revolution!

The only thing I don't miss is when Rayman 3 wouldn't work on my PC. :(

I can say I miss it, by one side. At least I wasn't conscient of the imperfections and problems of the world. Sometimes being ignorant contributes for happiness.

But at the same time I feel fine. At least I don't need parental permission for almost everything. :P

I guess everybody had highs and downs at every point of the life.

You can't buy liquor yet, though.

Wouldn't a virgin Boswandeling be just that? Or maybe it doesn't taste as good without the liquor?

Don't think i will ever miss my childhood.
As a matter of fact I can't wait till I'm able to move out.

Although, there are alot of things I wish I started when I was young.

It's no longer needed...
Why? This topic brought up an interesting discussion, and it was interesting to hear different answers. There's no reason for it to be deleted, or even locked. We haven't gone off topic at all really, and it hasn't even been a day yet. Just because many don't miss their childhood, aka, disagree with you (I'd say it's a near even split between those who do and don't), doesn't mean it should be locked. On top of that, you didn't even give a reason why it should be locked. I say add a poll!
Okay, I promise I won't close this thread. I do miss only one part, and that is early 2000. My family and I were traveling a lot(flying), visiting relatives abroad, helicopter ride, etc....

That's all the miss my childhood, the rest is blah... teen years bullied a lot & struggled in classes. In college, no bullying, but really struggling, even being as organized as possible...
I may be weird, but do give me space to fit in....

Childhood was the best time for me, then as a teen it was crap and now its Uber awesome again. Hope the tendency will go in the right direction.

I always said I don't want to be an adult, don't know if that's because I was already mature at 5 or because I watched peter pan too many times

Since you bumped all of these like a mad eejit not to long ago, I guess I miss being young and the times I used to go fishing with my dad as a kid all the time really. Then there was how I used to stay in my nanny's all time time playing the Xbox with my uncle and getting to stay up as late as I wanted. I wasn't allowed stay up late at home

I just miss books. Never seem to find time to read them these days. I don't know if that counts as missing childhood, but it has me really bummed.
