Rayman Pirate-Community

Hi, everyone! Well, my name is Bradley (but call me Bradandez if ya like) and I am making this topic for my indie game, titled ELEM. This topic will be about what the game will be and how you can be a part of it!

The Company:



BradArt Gaming Entertainment is a division of my starting-off company BradArt Studios. This company's only focus is being making really creative games that offer fun and entertainment. BradArt Gaming Entertainment will deal with developing the game and Bradandez Animation will be dealing with the game's cut scenes and BradArt Studios will be dealing with publishing.

The Game:


ELEM will be a 2D platformer. The game will be animated in Flash, directed by myself . The game's genre will be humorous and action packed.

The main story goes as:

" Three best friends, Elem, Jeens, and Eli, live in the Worlds of Wisdom on an island called Totem Vista Village. Elem, the main hero, has the powers of the four Classic Elements; Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. Jeens is a space cadet who has a quick solution to every problem with a little help of his blaster ray. Eli is mischievous angel who has a sarcastic attitude and is bit of an annoyance. Though, today a group of 3 villains, The Evil Trio, who consist of; The Evil Dark Menace, Woman Drone, and Sir Hats, have gotten the ultimate source to conquer the Worlds of Wisdom. And it's up to The Hero Trio to stop their plans and restore harmonic balance before it is too late. "



You can play as Elem, Jeens, and Eli and each one of them has unique powers to help them out on their journey. There will be 60 levels that make up 5 worlds:

-- Totem Vista Village

- Volcano Inferno Island

- Aquatic Water World

- Sky Cloud Cove
- Evil Lair Lands

The game's difficulty will progress from easy to hard, some levels will be very easy to pass while later levels will be challenging with some gimmicks to it. There are various power-ups and collectibles to unlock rewards. Here's also mock-up screenshot from a level named "Crystal Crazy":

This game is such a big project and it'll be nice to see if any of you want to help me out! Right now I got one level designer, musicians, and I'm already the game designer and I am not the voice actor of Elem anymore. But here are some available positions (you can request one, if have one you don't see here).

- Voice Actors (but must be fluent in complete gibberish, that means like Rayman 2 style or Banjo-Kazooie voices)
- Concept Art

- Writers with a great sense of humor

Here are the personalities:

Heroes!
Elem: A boy who has the powers of the elements (Fire, Water, Earth, and Air)

Jeens: An intergalactic space cadet who always keeps calm and if there is a problem, he has a solution to it (and it always Jeens seems to solve the situation with help from his blaster). Jeens is always generous and loves to help others no matter what, which annoys his friends. Jeens is usually the bigger brother when Elem and Eli have their differences.

Eli: A angel girl who's not as nice as other angels. She has a bad attitude and pokes fun to anyone she know, except for her closest friends. Eli is very loyal, brave, heroic, but her selfishness and cocky attitude can make her very unlikable. Though, Eli says she's a tomboy, she has some very personal secrets.

Native Tiki Vein: A magical spirit that helps all those who are good in the Worlds of Wisdom. Tiki Vein is resourceful, caring, generous, and fatherly. Though, he is fun to be around, it is best not to anger Tiki Vein or he'll release a wrath like no other.

Villains!
The Evil Dark Menace: A scarecrow who wanted nothing to be loved is now is the leader of The Evil Trio. He is evil, dark and umm...menacing. The Menace is a real hot head, scolds at his partners,and can be very over-confident in his plans. He maybe mean and terrible , The Menace is secretly very sensitive.

Woman Drone: An intergalactic criminal who has a sassy attitude and is very bossy to her partners. Woman Drone takes orders from nobody except herself. When things go out of hand, she is the first to panic, whine, and give up.

Sir Hats: A former magician, now a current living skeleton who is mentally unstable and is an insane psychopath. Sir Hats is ruthless and confused with an over the top sick mind that will make the grim reaper shudder. For fun, Sir Hats loves to play life-ending games for unfortunate victims.

SinzLiki: A parasitic spirit that feeds off his host. Sinzliki is the right hand man of the evil wicked ruler of all evil. He joined up with The Evil Trio to create mayhem and take revenge on his rival Native Tiki Vein. Sinzliki is diabolical as he is destructive. He is resentful, unforgettable, unmerciful, and sort of a moocher.

Humorous Writing:
Do you have a sense of humor? Would you like to show your talent? And have a passion for destroying the 4th wall!?!?!?!?!?!? Well, this your lucky day, since ELEM will featuring lots of laughs and an epic storyline. So do you have what it takes?

Is there any plan for how the game is going to actually be made yet? And do we have a meeting place?

I volunteer to be either a concept artist, storyboard artist, or a writer.

Well you can audition and send me them to my e-mails, also as for the personalities I will update this topic with the main characters' personalities.

If I had a better microphone, I would voice Elem, but sadly not at the moment.

The game will be in Flash, but if I do find a better gaming program, I will use that instead. As for a meeting place, I have no idea.

I've already sent you an email to show you what I can do, but if you mean that you need me to draw the characters that will be in this game I will try to get that done as soon as possible.
Do you want colour or black-and-white? My style or your style?

Sound nice this game. It remember me to any videogame I played on GBC.

Thanks, that's a perfect description for this game. And I will be upolading the main 3 heroes and villains' personalities today or tomorrow.

Artwork is too ectatic.
I don't like it, go on with what you're doing though, this is just not my kind of game.

This is one game's progress which I'll be following. Seems like it could blossom very wonderfully indeed.

I don't want to sound like an eager cunt, but are you going to type out the characters' respective personalities soon? I'm really in the mood to record something.

Soon as today, I've been really busy this weekend, so I couldn't upload any.

Looks very promising indeed, I think I may be auditioning for some voice acting on here too. I love doing voices.
I'll have to take a more in-depth look tomorrow though. Still, I like where this is going.
