True, very true indeed.
I forgot to mention, the HD conversion is done to the same degree as the trilogy, that is to say, it shares some of its problems, the biggest being how the cutscenes weren't actually rendered in real time, and were just taken out of the PS2 version, and how the game switches to 4:3 at some points. There's also a bit of slowdown, it's rare, but noticeable.

I found the HD trilogy to be a lot more definitive than the PS2 versions, I heard during the early stages though it did have few problems.
Hm, indeed, neat.
Aahh, don't know if I'll be able to get it then and there, but I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Looks pretty good. Sadly this will maybe be be last Ratchet game. I remember hearing that Sony said Sly, Jak and Ratchet might not get on next gen and that for PS4 new characters should be made.

Hm, time will tell, seems unlikely that Sony would just abandon franchises that keep fans in place.

I doubt we will see Jak again, in the near future at least. Ratchet series being a best seller since PlayStation 2, I pretty sure they won't just end the series. Sly thieves in time, teasing a sequel. But then again, as Master wrote, time will tell.

Hm, so anyone want to share their thoughts on the gameplay itself?
It seems that the sound effects from FFA are still being used, not too shabby, but preferred Crack in Time's fx.
Good to see Cronk and Zephyr back in action once again, and they're keeping the villains awfully mysterious indeed, been doing that for quite a bit as of late.
This level is pretty much Gravity boots, and they did say gravity was one of the main themes of gameplay, so it's to be expected, and the spacial environments look pretty sweet, heck, for R&C's seemingly final hurrah on the PS3, they're going out with extreme graphical output.

Thoughts on the game?
Well, this, as all other R&C games, for me, is a must (Except All 4 One, and Full Frontal Assualt). R&C is one my favorite game series. Too bad though, the game will be short, that's why the games price is cheap, hopefully it will not be as short as A quest for booty, ( I Mean come on) It's good to see some characters are back, Cronk and Zephyr, Talwyn, even the Thugs-4-Less group is back, I guess we will wait and see how story and villains will be.

The games going to be longer than QFB but shorter than ACIT. I watched some more gameplay today and am really impressed so far. Love the focus on gravity and bringing back all the beloved traditional elements fans have missed.

Indeed, though I can detect a hint of FFA/Q-Force's style in there, not a gripe, but I preferred the feel of CiT.

Yeah there's definitely traits still lingering about, especially with Ratchet himself. I thought they perfected Ratchets look in ACIT. I don't hate his newer one or anything I just feel the change was unnecessary. Really wished they used the ACIT model for the movie too. At least Qwark is back to normal.

Qwark!? I haven't seen footage of him from this game, could you linky this ol' fellow to the right way?

He's at around 14:20. His model is more like his All 4 one actually now that I look at it...Again I don't hate it but I MUCH prefer the one they're using for the movie.

I see what you mean.
I see the Aphelion is staying with it ToD look since FFA reintroduced it, pity, I like the CiT look.

Oh yeah didn't really notice that, either version is cool in my opinion. Thankfully, Talwyn seems to look exactly the same as she did in TOD/QFB which is a relief, as shes my favourite female character from the series.

Hmm, her proportions look slightly different, she doesn't look quite as tall as she did in ToD and QfB.
