At least there's nothing majorly noticeable like with Ratchet or Qwark. :P I wonder what old characters such as Angela,Skidd and Al would look like if they brought them back..

Of all the games, I'd have to say that Going Commando, the second one, is my favorite. There's just something about it.

Aren't we all?
I do wonder what plot points it will resolve that came from the future trilogy.

Hmm, so I was on the official Facebook page for The Ratchet and Clank Movie and apparently Doctor Nefarious is going to be in the film. I was kind of against the idea at first, as I would rather they only focused on one main villain and save him for a potential sequel. However, after reading some comments and thinking about it, I've decided that they could be introducing him in as his human form, as this is basically an origins story as well as another take on the first game. I think seeing Nefarious in his human form and all the events that took place with Qwark would be great as I really enjoyed the Qwark Vid comics in the 3rd game.

Hm, unless the film is going to somehow condense the plot of the whole original trilogy, which would be interesting indeed.

If they were going to pull something like that off I'd be worried it would turn out like Spiderman 3; way too many villains and plot points all just crammed together. I really hope they release a proper trailer soon so we can get a better idea of how it will actually play out.

I still have some feeling R&C movie will end up like Spyro Movie. But I would like to see it made still. I have yet to watch video game based movie which is good. And I do not count Sonic OVA as a movie since thats only title in America and it's not "technically" a movie.

I think the R&C movie has much more promise than the Spyro movie, we've gotten a trailer, details were released, and we know there's a close amount of co-operation between the game-makers, and the movie-makers. Compare that to Spyro, who I believe only got a poster.

Yeah not to mention they've stated the movies already far into production. They also posted that they're saving a lot of the reveals for 2014.

Makes sense, seeing as we're not seeing it 'til 2015, not good to hype things up prematurely.

I'm looking forward for the movie, but there aren't guarantees that I'll manage to see it in the cinema.

Likewise, if all goes to plan, I'll be in my second year at Uni by then.

I hope we get some more info on the movie before the years end, even if it's just a little. I'm so hyped for it! I really want to find out if the original voice actor will return for Drek, as well as if characters such as Skid Mcmarx and Al will return.

Hm, I'm assuming the Plumber will use his Future voice if he appears, as opposed to his original trilogy voice.

Bumping, here's a new trailer showing some of the weapons in the game:

Ooph, I feel pretty bad, but here's another bump for some convo:
Dark Lum Lord wrote:That, and All 4 One gave the characters an awful redesign and the game was all around cheesy. That being said, the Ratchet and Clank games seem to be garnering even more so cheesy humor and all around cheesiness in general with each game.
Hm, I'm not sure, I think the original trilogy tended to be more cheesy than the Future Trilogy, and since the climax of CiT, they've winded down back to a humorous tone.
Either ways, yeah, not too big a fan of the post-All 4 One designs, it seems Nexus will be merging the Future and A4O designs, let's see how that turns out.

True, the original three could be more so cheesy than the latter at times, especially Going Commando, but the Future games just don't have that same charm of the original three. There's something off about them and they're also cheesy in their own way.

Agreed. Well at least they ported those parts in HD for PS3. It is pretty pity that they're going a little off. It feels like they aren't the same people who made the first games.

Hm, true that the Future trilogy certainly went for a different tone and feel, but I'll admit I've always preferred the slightly more serious tone it had over the original, to each their own, I guess.
