Hi there!

For the seventh time, Pirate-Community is organising a posts in a day record. Here is a short description for those of you who joined recently:

The goal is not only to break a new record every year or bring more activity to the forums, but also to shuffle our topics in order to bring new discussions for the following year.

This is not a spam contest, and useless messages are obviously not welcome. However, the special conditions during the record day will be the cause of a certain leniency, especially as concerns old topics, which can be bumped freely.

The record was once again beaten last year, with an outstanding total of 18673 messages! The rewards rise to the occasion: each post is worth 15 Tings within the given time span, and then come the bonus Tings: 1500 for participating, 1500 for beating one's previous posts in a day record, and 3000 Tings for the winner. For example, someone once ended up with the staggering amount of 42420 Tings that day.

As for the date, I suggest Saturday July 14th from 0.00 AM to 12.00 PM (GMT+2), which will have to be adjusted depending on your time zone (feel free to post your time zone here if you aren't sure). For instance, it would be from July 13th at 11.00 PM to July 14th at 11.00 PM in the UK.

July the 14th is a no go for me, as I'll be away on vacation at that point. For three weeks too, so chances are I'll miss this one in any case, even if the date would be changed.
