Shamefully I haven't travelled anywhere in the last two years. Lockdown really makes you appreciate the freedoms of travelling and holidaying. As soon as this shit's over I'll be all over Europe.

I'd love another trip to the Netherlands, Belgium and Scotland as well as go to Portugal when I think we can. Though at the moment I'd be happy just to make a weekend in London to see family and friends.

Ohh yeah I was in Bruges before and I recommend the torture museum and the fries museum. The fries one was a special comedic hell.

I honestly don't remember either of them but then was only there a few days. Did go to some quirky chocolate, doll and lace museums though.

I’m on board with the chocolate and fries museum. That’s the foodie in me talking though.

It wasn't that interesting, just historical stuff from what I recall. I was expecting something like from the opening of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.

It still feels so surreal that I took my first ever trip to America just one week before everything basically shut down.

Well I couldn't travel to all the places I wanted to go to last summer but at least I was still lucky enough to go to the Faroe Islands!

At this stage we're lucky to even be allowed leave our counties, never mind the country...

Well it could be worse I guess. You could be in lockdown or be forbidden to leave your house or something!

I feel a bit like I narrowly dodged a bullet by doing a short trip to Cheshire (and going slightly into the border of Wales because that was where a Cineworld screening Akira was) for Chester Zoo, and then going down south to Essex and see family and friends; just before both Nottingham and London went into local lockdown. The tier system here is flaky as all f and I still have to go to work because my job isn't the work from home kind!
