You do realize that PS3's YLOD is fully fixable and that no person should ever get rid of PS3 if YLOD happens?

I don't dare to break a new console apart in hope to fix this.It still can happen that something horrible happens and like I know myself it only happens horrible stuff.

If a PS4 makes it in my house, it won't be through my hand, I'm not interested in the current "next-gen," too empty, and I don't feel confident that any are worthwhile to invest in yet.

The PS4 and XONE never really felt like 'next-gen' to me. And anyway i am not that interested in getting a PS4. N64 sounded more interesting lol

PS4 and Xbox One are in my opinion consoles that were rushed and forced due to Wii U. Unlike Wii U which was a huge step from Wii, PS4 and Xbox One were not that huge step forward from PS3 and 360

I really doubt Microsoft and Sony felt any kind of pressure from the Wii U, however I think they were perhaps a little rushed by each other.
In terms of steps forward, Sony seem to have gone with simply more power, and Microsoft tried to integrate more entertainment.

I think all three consoles are great but they seem more like evolutions rather than revolutions.

Well, at the moment (all these are NTSC BTW):

- Modchipped PS1 (I don't know what model it is lol)

- Nintendo 64 (with a non-RGB video out)
- PS2 Slim (with built-in power supply)
- Launch Model PS3 with Backwards Compatibility

- A decent PC

I'm hoping to get an NES, Sega CD, Dreamcast, GameCube (with Game Boy Player), and Wii U soon (mainly since I don't have a Wii).

Hmm, you can take in-game screenshots, can't you? Would it then be possible to import them onto a PC? I know I'm probing, but we're really lacking images for Legends on the Wiki, and if you're capable of helping out with images, it'd be most appreciated.

Dude, if Wii U didn't came, PS4 and Xbox One would most likely come out in late 2014.

The only "console" I own is the N64, but I'll but my handhelds and family systems on the list as well:

-N64 (LOL, I bought it this year, I'm so old fashioned)
-Game Boy (Pocket Model)
-DS Lite
-3DS
-PS2(Shared with my brother)
-Wii (family system at my dads)
-WiiU (family system at my moms)
