My PS2 actually was filthy but we're just messing. If it makes you feel better, just think of how I got an empty game case on ebay

Idk, maybe a 1TB/2TB HDD for my PS4 or a whole new PS4 Pro – I’m running out of space on my PS4’s HDD.

Actually looks pretty decent for a GBA game. Also only cost me like 5 euro

Hmm, after seeing pics I'm now leaning towards getting the original GBA instead. Better check prices on those on eBay.

And you might be able to find pre-modded ones with the backlight, or kits to go with it, if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty by trying yourself. Which it would be great experience.

If post wasn't so freaking expensive I'd have no problem making a backlit one for you and sending it to you, but I assume they probably would charge a fair bit. You wouldn't be taxed though as it's not a new item and a gift with a low price value

It's actually easy enough to do yourself as long as you're careful with the ribbon cables though and way easier if you order a custom shell instead of cutting the front to fit the screen in like I did

Oh yes, the custom shells are cheap too. I have some for a raspberry pi kit I got for the gba.

I'm thinking should I order one or just keep the purple since it matches my gamecube

Yeah, I saw both pre-modded and kit listings on eBay earlier. I'd prefer to get pre-modded so that way I won't risk messing anything up with doing it myself.

I'm not so sure. I'll have to think about it but like I said I don't want to like mess something up while trying to get it modded on my own.

Are you able to solder? There's one solder joint that you have to actually make. Mine was working without it so I assumed it was fine but GB/GBC games made the backlight actually flicker slightly. When I soldered that cable onto where it was supposed to go it fixed it. I thought I could get away with not using the cable

It was still working perfect with GBA games but the older games must use some sort of weird voltage fluctuations.

Last night I remembered that my little sister has a Nintendo DS, so I did my research and discovered that it was backward compatible with GBA games. I took a further look and saw the DSi models don't, and they have a camera, which I did see my sister use. To confirm it I found it minutes ago and took a look and it was indeed the DSi model. That's really unlucky, thought I was going to save my money and not have to buy a GBA.
