Forum reordering suggestion

It's just an idea. And it's based on my aesthetics and way I use computers. Which do make sense, so they do not make "sense", remember? Anyway your feedback, constructive or not, is appreciated.
The problems is very, very simple: Rayman forum has, right now, no less than 4 "announcement" threads and 8 "stickied" threads, if that's the phpBB slang. Even if it isn't so, you get the idea - we get 12 topics that are very much in their own category compared to other stuff in main Rayman forum. (Not talking about fanworks, since they obviously have their own forum.)
I've been lurking around many different internet forums, mostly for reading. It sometimes happens that a forum has around 6 stickies and 2 announcements. But the announcements are usually actual announcements like rules and last forum changes information. And in case of stickies, these usually contain a FAQ, Q&A and Giant Site-Oriented List Of Things threads.
PC's Rayman forum contains basically a list of major games as stickies, and that's just non-attractive to me. OK, there is an extra thread about emulation. Announcements are basically not-so interesting topics that are there so nobody would clone them.
So, to get to my idea. Let's add an additional forum, Rayman Value threads, with topics moved there by moderators. This includes our current stickies and a few different topics, according to taste of moderators - maybe the quiz and some additional threads about games' continuity? So, we the regulars can't make topics there, but if they are found worthy they are moved in. However there is no sticking inside with exception of site-wide announcements and a special topic I'll talk about soon. If a thread was found worthy of putting there by a mod and then turned out to be more used than Rayman RR thread, Rayman RR thread goes down the page, simply.
If for whatever reason this is not what mods want in case of particular topic, they include a link to it in the aforementioned special thread, which is a list of B class threads.
The Rayman Value forum, however is it called, takes place of current Rayman forum as a root for Rayman fanworks forum and new-old regular Rayman forum, where everyone can post their threads.
The idea may be not perfect, but I want to know what you think about it and do you share my feelings on the crowded top of page. Maybe just a little sticky cleaning would be helpful enough. Who knows.

The reason they've been made stickies or announcements is so that they'll get noticed. Pigeon-holing them into a separate subforum would therefore be counter-productive.
I'll agree that the amount of "A class" topics is an issue, though.

I just realized something. There are some good threads that have seemed to be forgotten. I feel some stickies are in order, OR at least a sticky of a thread listing all good threads that the majority of the PC members like.
Thoughts Spaceray?

If agreed I'll make the topic and then mods can edit it whenever.

A sticky archiving memorable/interesting/important threads is a great idea, as we discussed! I look forward to hearing your suggestions.

Great. I'll post suggestions here then, once I am done. I'll be doing Member's Forum and Off Topic, since those are my usual areas of hanging. I don't know much about the rayman threads, as I have only played Rayman 2 to completion, and a little bit of Rayman 1.
Off topic archive post

Introduction:
Important meaning memorable, interesting, or just important threads to you and a majority of PC members. This will be a list of links of threads with reasoning as to why it is important. (Short and concise is always nice) Since this only needs the OP to be edited, the topic can be used to discuss new and old topics alike that are important and why. Reasoning has to be slightly deeper than just "I like it!" (Doesn't have to be too deep, but should be concrete, at least a sentence) but if alot of people do want that thread linked (example: if poll results show this), then you would not have to give reasoning, but only the source of the poll and it's results, and as long there isn't any suspicion of alt accounts skewing the results largely. Simple as that really. List won't be very long either, as I don't want a list as long as how many topics there are. I'm only picking the quality threads out of many. Keep in mind this is not a competition. If your own thread isn't picked, don't fret. Ask others what they really think of your thread to understand what may have been holding it back from being linked. Even some of my topics may have not been top quality. We all make some silly topics at times, but I'm sure we also make good ones too, that may be missed. Also consider this is only my thoughts initially. Others may have different ideas. There will be a 'honorable mentions' list as well, but with reasoning as to why I didn't think it was as important. Others who disagree may try to refute my opinion. So without further a due:
Topic listing + Reasoning:
Problem? Post here: Daily Doldrums Thread
This thread is deep and can be helpful to the community by offering a place to be heard when you have a shitty day, or just are really down about something and want to talk about it, or just want to vent your frustration. Not only can you be heard, but others can give their opinions on how to deal with it, or just prods of support. Just remember that not all things can help you, just keep an open mind and hopefully something helpful can come your way. :]
Religion: Your view
This is a thread people may be interested in posting in to discuss their views on religion. Simple as that.
Mafia Sign-ups
Mafia Game Archives
IRC Mafia
This is one with only 3 pages, but this game can be very fun and social. It can also bring salt to your wounds muahaha. (As you can die and your character cannot speak anymore, as he would be dead, but your 'team' can still win in the end) Read the thread as I cannot express the basics of mafia in a concise manner. Just know that it's a town of good guys trying to route out a small faction of bad guys. You can start from there. :p
Rayman pc world of text (Original)
Rayman pc world of text (newest)
Here there is a world of text where you can type in real time while others may be doing the same. Your text stays there, but others can edit it as a joke. *shrugs* It's your world of text. Simple as that. It's very fun to play around with, leave your own monuments, your own messages, your own journeys which go a few clicks to the left. It's also anonymous. Original and newest linked for convenience.
Rayman Zone Discussion
RaymanZone vs Pirate Community
Very interesting to see discussion on RZ. The origin from some of us had came. RZ is (or was) the official Rayman Forum and site. Crappy as it was, it was my first. :3 I don't think you can really even see older posts, but I'm sure others here can give recollections. RZ has often been attacked with troll attempts or hackings. Our Hunch was a moderator there and unrightfully banned. (This inspired him to create RZ!

) Check it out, quite interesting to see how things built up.
What are you eating right now? - A thread to post what you are eating, maybe with pictures too. Great thread if you like to show what you eat during the day.
Music you are currently listening to thread - Simple as that. List the music you are listening to at the moment.
Person above you thread - Simple, yet fun game that everyone loves. Also helps in passing the time on Off Topic.
The You game - Same premise of the person above you game, except just pointing to yourself instead.
Word to Word - Another simple game, which has 1140 posts at the time of this post. Simply word association, what does this word make you think of? Simple yet fun and also helps pass the time.
Pictures of yourself! - Here you can post pictures of yourself! I think it's self explanatory as to why it can be popular.
Pluses and Minuses of your day - Positives and negatives of your daily life. Everyone wants to talk about how their day went.
Rhyming Game - Simple game of rhyming. Has 35 pages. Have at ye. Who does NOT like rhyming? That is the question.
Your wish may or may not be granted - Simple. Make a wish, and someone may grant it, but it may not be exactly what you wanted! (After granting, you must make a wish to keep the cycle of wish > grant > wish going)
Continue the Sentence- You may only continue with one word at a post. No double posting but this won't be strictly adhered to in the situation of inactivity/busyness.
Political Compass - I feel this is a nifty survey and something interesting to keep fresh in your minds.
Cheese - Everyone loves cheese.
How's the weather? - Post how the weather is for you in your area.
Honorable mentions:
YO Counter
BONK
Eye Color
Anti-British!
Pizza
Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer
This or That?
Birthday and ages
What Game are you playing?
What movie did you just watch?

I do love how the Anti-British thread is mentioned but not the you game.

That might be because it was on the first page and I didn't notice it!
Added.

They're great, but I think the list needs to be filtered down to include only the funny and important threads (if that's the criteria you're looking for of course). It would be nice if other members contributed to the list, too! Perhaps then we could seriously attempt to construct a topic archive

I like this idea, after almost ten years of Pirate-Community it's almost great to stumble upon a hilarious topic that you'd forgotten long ago.

The RaySaves facility needs to be added alongside RayTunes, RayWiki and the Portal.

I forgot, we also have some flash games lying around in the PC Websites section, methinks they could be embedded onto the website as well.
