Oh ok thanks for explaining me everything. I guess we must wait for game. Just to say that it wont change my opinion should I buy the game or not but I just like to know what to expect.
Yeah, I know that 3DS version wont even have a full voice acting. When I saw gameplay, it did not even have sound effects like Sonic's voice when he hits enemies, but I would love to get Wii U and Lost World for it.

Guys, I have been playing this fangame for a while, and I think I should show it here, since it's an AWESOME Sonic fangame.
It's called Sonic Robo Blast 2.

This game was made to emulate the classics, but at the same time, it has some elements from the modern games, such as a homing attack (which actuall doesn't home on to enemies, and is called "thok" in this game) and it even includes a spindash, which is used in a similar way to Sonic Generations and SADX. It's based off a heavily modified Doom engine, and it's still being worked on. You can see the official website and forums below:
http://www.srb2.org
You will see updates of the game here, and you can also find out about the story of the game, and what characters are playable in the game.
http://mb.srb2.org
The forums there is a place for news, bug reports, WIP mods, and releases. Loads of people make their own characters and stages for the game, and more. You really need to check it out, There's also a new version being made that will revamp a lot of levels and graphics. I was thinking of making a new topic, but since this is a Sonic topic, I thought I should share it here. Not to mention there's also a lot of online gameplay! There's Coop mode, which is just going through the levels with others, there's match, where everyone throws deadly rings at each other to see who can get the most points, then CTF, pretty self explanatory, it's Match except there's teams and you have to capture the flag. There's also Race, where you race with others, again, self explanatory. You need to try out this game!

tI actually used to play that, it's really great, and the amount of dedication the development team put in over a decade is insane. I should download it again pretty soon.

That fan game looks like a 3rd person game in the Quake engine.

It uses the Doom Legacy engine, to be specific.

Sonic Fan Game I am mostly looking forward to is Sonic Xtreme remake.

Does anyone maybe knows what happened with Sonic GL creator? I heared some rumors that he passed away. His site is closed and nobody can reach him. Sonic GL looked really good.

He cancelled that project a long time ago. He did make one game called "Chao's Mazes" though.

Didn't hear anything about him passing away. I figured he was moving on with college and his career in general. He was quite talented, so I hope he hit his stride.

Regardless of what happened to Sonic GL, Sonic GDK pretty much was it's spiritual successor, even if the two projects are completely unrelated.

Sonic GL was canceled, Sonic GDK is still updated. Sonic GDK is not actually a fan game, but a template for making Sonic fan games in UDK. An example of a fan game in development that uses it is "Sonic Exodus".

Sonic Fan Remix was never finished, though I never heard of a cancellation either. There is a three level demo of it though which can still be downloaded.

I know of quite a few quality Sonic fan games and ROM hacks.
If you guys need a good site for Sonic info (be it about official Sonic stuff, or fan works), check out the website "Sonic Retro".

It is a story of a legend with tragic end. It wasnt regular cancelation, it was much worse. Thanks to one guy from development team who was an asshole and put DRM before he left. Sonic 2 HD is story that still makes me sad

It is a fan game, how can it be hit with copyright issues? Were they trying to make money out of it? It looked awesome though.

EDIT: According to Sonic Retro it is still developed

sounds like fun, and fan games technically violate copyright laws, even though most company's really should be honored by the free advertisement.

Hm, could be my bad memory, though I'm pretty sure there was a fangame that looked interesting that got hit with that problem.

I think companies cancel games from other people if the games are better than what they can create themselves. I know of a case where a certain company forced these guys to stop making a certain game that I don't want to say the name of or else i'll probably get some hate comments or whatever.
