Probably. Watching the Smurfs rapping and dancing on a guitar from Guitar Hero was a really awful experience for me.

I actually made the conscious choice to see that movie on opening day because I knew pretty much nothing about the Smurfs, and I was curious. It's comparable to dating an awesome partner online, then meeting them in person and they turn out to be just a really horny, fucked up cat.

Somehow I read that as 'Watching the Smurfs raping a guitar from Guitar Hero was a really awful experience for me.'
I was thinking: 'Ya think?'

From the 2D animated ones, I'll probably say Mulan. Because she actually does badass shit and doesn't care about romance (Well, yeah, she did have a love interest, but that wasn't the main thing). I liked that as a kid and I still like that today. And Pixar... that's a hard one, really. But Finding Nemo was the first film I ever saw on a theater.

The Lion King is overvalued. I love the Hunchback of Notre Dame, but if I had to choose one for it's music, I'd choose Hercules. And my pixar favourite? it's pretty complicated to say... but I'm pretty sure my favourite one is UP.

My favourite Pixar film is probably Finding Nemo, because it feels like a true journey. The movie is captivating from start to finish, has an amazing set of characters, and I absolutely love marine biology. The deep ocean has always been one of my biggest topical interests.
I love The Lion King because it's pretty much perfect (not completely perfect, but 'pretty much'). It's a true shining example of movies are capabile of, combining beautiful animation and artistry, amazing technique, brilliant voice acting and an incredibly solid story to make it probably one of the greatest films of all time. The thing as a whole is just a masterpiece. If someone has never seen a 2D animated film before, The Lion King is probably the best reference for every great thing about the genre. With that in mind it happens to land in third place for my favourite movies, but yeah.

I loved it... as a kid. Now I find it pretty... weak? the animation is and will always be smooth for me in that movie, it's amazing, and the plot is well executed... but damn... Timon and Pumba's fart jokes... they were so bad. Rafiki, in the other hand, was AMAZING, he was Disney's Yoda (oh wait.......right, now Disney owns Yoda). Scar... oh god... I can't see how is he Disney's best villain. He has... class? and, well, yeah an average ability for lying... but he's weak, old and lazy.., he's not even powerful, he's just qualified as the most evil just because he achieved to kill someone, but isn't that what every disney villain tries to do? I mean, yeah, he did it... but gosh, there are so many flaws in that villain that I couldn't stand.

Mehh i thought he was pretty powerful considering he had a gigantic army of Hyenas under his rule and of course he had the villainous power to manipulate which seemed to work out well for him for a good portion of the movie. Regarding the movie itself when I watched in 3D last year i realized just how near perfect the movie actually is. The soundtrack and animation are incredible as are the characters. But dude there was only like one fart joke in the film and it worked pretty well in the song! Did anyone ever eatch the Timon and Pumba Tv show? that was actually pretty decent.

...that later ate him for being a dumb asshole.
Even as a kid I hated Timon and Pumbaa's TV show... it was so... unrelated to the movie, is like they tried too hard to be a softcore version of Ren and Stimpy. Everytime I saw a human character in an episode I felt it like a slap in the face of animation. It was a completely pointless spin-off. I liked Lion King 1/2, though.

I love Timon and Pumbaa's cartoon show, and Lion King III made me laugh out loud when I bought the DVD back in 2004.
Oh my, Finding Nemo is also one of my favourites from PIXAR, for the same reason as Ad: It feels like a journey, an adventure. But other of my favourites from PIXAR are UP, WALL-E, Ratatouille and A Bug's Life.

I am one of the Lion King crowd, I must admit, I loved it then and I still love it now.
As for Pixar's offerings, well...Finding Nemo is probably my favourite overall, though I also have a special liking to Monsters Inc. and the Incredibles.

I didn't really like the Incredibles that much... it just wasn't the best of pixar in my opinion. Basically, Edna Moda and Frozone's wife made the movie, they're just awesome, but.. I guess that's it, for me, most of the family (except for Mr Incredible) are completely annoying. In my top pixar movies, The Incredibles are even below Cars. Don't take me wrong, it was an AMAZING movie... but just not the best of pixar.
I love Monsters inc and Finding Nemo, but knowing that the first one is getting a prequel and the second one is getting a sequel gives me the chills.

Timon and Pumbaa's show is on almost every Saturday and Sunday here. I like it, but then again I've never seen the actual film, so I don't really know against what standard it should be judged.

I also didn't find Incredibles and Cars the best from PIXAR, the Cars one I found too much aimed for the american audience and the Incredibles was missing charm, magic, you know.

I loved Incredible as a kid, cant get into it as much these days but still a great film. I actually tried watching Cars once got like 20 minutes in and turned it off. The sequel looks awful, I mean that series should be straight to Dvd releases its basically that quality, too bad the merchandise sells shitloads.

Cars isn't bad... it just... isn't the best, ever Cars 2 is decent... for Dreamworks standards, of course, because as a pixar movie it sucks.
I'm still waiting for the Wreck-it Ralph review,my dear Ad.
