We already have a ''What are you listening right now'' topic, which is a topic where people only post what they're listening to, but not debating music itself.
This topic is made for people to debate music, genres, subgenres and their favourite bands.
Keep in mind though, that saying genres like Rock, Pop, Metal and Electronic have alot of sub genres.
Rock has 30-40 of them alone.
I like Punk, Electronic and Industrial rock myself, but I'm also a slight metalhead.

My favourite bands at the moment are: Rise Against, Celldweller, Blue Stahli, Muse, Three Days Grace and Pendulum.

How can you call Punk music ?

I meant punk rock, Rise against is a punk rock band.

I absolutely love newer dubstep.

A lot of people dislike it, branding it as "brostep", but I adore it's complexity and how different it sounds from every other genre I'm used to. It's very quickly become one of my most favorite genres of music to listen to.

I've become a huge fan of everything within music and instruments the last year.
I'm also a fan of Punk rock, but I listen alot to Rock and even Country

I play bass in a Punk band at the moment as well.

Classical and various Rocks. Also Death Metal.

My favourite music genre is Electronic. I also like Jazz, Rock 'N' Roll and Pop (Can videogames musics be considered too a genre? ). In minor quantity, I like some Rap, Hip-Hop and Classical musics but these three it really depends of the musics.

My favourite band is Kraftwerk. I just love everything these guys make:

They're a great band, and wow, they remind me so much of Erasure O.O

I remember my father doing me a surprise and taking me to Kraftwerk's concert they played in Lisbon back in 2nd April of 2004. It was epic, unforgettable. 8')

Just listened to Kraftwerk - Radioactivity.
They're pretty good.
They're an electronical band though, I prefer electronical rock.
Here's an example of electronical rock.

I'm like a true at heart music fan. I love almost every kind of music from German electro/metal, to dubstep, to classical, to punk rock, to Visual kei, to ambiance, to British Horrorcore, to New Age.....just about everything. My most comfortable in singing is J-pop/rock, and metal. My favourite languages to sing in are Japanese and German. German being my favourite language, but I sing Japanese better.

And I especially love singing songs from anime! My current favourite being this one.

I never hear them talked about very much, they're one of my favorite bands though. I hope Lena's solo career turns out well, as I don't care at all for the drastic way Yulia has changed, or Julia as I should say, because she changed her name to appeal more to the Western market. I kind of like Rage from her, but otherwise I don't care for any of her newer music.

Personally I'm open to most types of music, though there are certain artists that I hate, like N-Dubz, boy bands, girl bands, coldplay etc...

But when it comes to pure epic-ness, none can contest the great Pink Floyd! (Yes Des!!)
