Sorry for the bump, but it's just that I rarely have the time to be on this forum and I wanted to make an update on this topic.
Alright, so we named the cat (update from my last post). Her name is Boris now (my brother chose the name, and I know she's female but interestingly, I have heard of people naming their pets a name of the gender opposite to which they have). What I forgot to mention of her in my last post however is the basic information: she's a mackerel tabby (I know that's a pattern, not a breed meaning it's purebred but people just say these kinds of cats these are "tabby cats" anyway). She's 1 year old at this point.

Funny, her face kinda looks like that of a wildcat.

In july 2007, we had a male dog which his breed is a Yorkshire Terrier. My parents bought him when he was 5 weeks old. Then he died in May 2019 due to gastroenteritis, sadly.
We didn't have a dog until today. Now I have a female Yorkie puppy called Shika. She is a peaceful puppy and she will turn 3 months within four days.

Now that you say it, it does, a bit actually.
The cats that look almost the exact same are Chartreux and British Shorthair cats though. You can still somewhat make out the subtle differences between them like with how Chartreux cats' eyes are further apart than British Shorthairs', and how with Chartreux cats, the colors of their fur are more consistent (what I mean by this is that there's less variety in the color) and that some of the fur in British Shorthairs stick out.

This is the last photo I took of our old Jess. She's about 14 now and I hope I get to see her again soon.

Bump.
Sometime in December we got an adorable kitty from our cousin, and I find it cute how the cat and dog in our house are playing together. Although the kitty can be quite a handful at times, I'm happy to have him as a part of our family!

We have 4 dogs at the moment, and the oldest one has heart disease. I think he's 11 at this stage, the others are only half that age or less.

Aw, they're lovely!
We have a cat whose names include "Hammy" and "Hoover", which sounds parallel to the above.

He's huge, black and almost five years old. And we also still have his mother, "Tuesday", who's a year older. Hopefully they stay with us for a long time!

Is he named after the cat food mascot? We used to have a kitten who looked like him, named BW.

I wasn’t even aware there was a mascot named after my cat!

Well, I'll be honest with you, I thought I was talking to Steo – told you this would happen!

Even though I should know he's more a dog person!

One of our 11 year old Jack Russel's is really sick and has breathing problems, so he's on his way to the vet to be put down.

Ouch, I’m really
really sorry to hear that.
I know how it feels to have a pet put down, especially a pet that you have a good relationship with.
I couldn’t get over having our old 6-year-old doggo (2013-2019) put down. I had really good memories with him.
