That's an interesting information, Rayray. Maybe this is why plums are so iconic in the Rayman series.

It's a good question we should ask to Michel.

I was totally just asking myself that.
Maybe it's a North-American thing then. Yes, plum sauce is real, I always order it at McDonald's for my chips. Think of sweet-and-sour sauce, except less sweet and more rich and dynamic in flavour.

I tasted plum sauce in St Marteen, they use it in a delicious speciality sandwich called Roti, it's a big sandwich with vegetables, potatoes and turkey meat.

My grandma's neighbour had a plum tree and one summer there were BILLIONS of them and we nicked half of them haha. They drop and get eaten by bugs otherwise so why not?

I was always really confused with plums in Rayman universe due to their shape. Only when I visited Greece I learned that they indeed look like this in hotter climates. In Poland, they're usually... slimmer? Not round, definitely.

While I like plums and plum jam, I don't really remember tasting plum juice.

I can confirm this, because I'm a plum.

tbh never knew plum juice existed in real life, i did eat a few plums at one point when we had a small plum tree. allas said tree got some infection and it died. also regarding to the "they are distorded versions of the real life ones" theory, id have to agree as they dont exactly resemble the real ones being more round and big, neither do they have that ridge running across them, aaaand then there is the fact that the rayman universe plums are bouncy as hell. (which is something i dont think the real life ones can do, even if they didnt splatter on impact i doubt they would even bounce of the ground)

I have tasted (eaten) plums, dehydrated plums/prunes, prune tarts, plum soup, plum kissel, plum cake and several other plum/prune foods, but never actually plum juice. I can imagine how it tastes like, though.

You know, I once (like for at least four years) had an almost religious dedication to some fanon that I made up that was remarkably similar to this...
I was a very weird child. :P

As for actually tasting the juice IRL, I have to be honest and say no. The opportunity never really presented itself.

I have never made, seen or drank Plum juice. It sounds like an addictive beverage...like wines or even Lemonade.

EDIT: Frack this phone, Seriously. I mean to say that I have never done what was said above.
