The Sanctuary of Rock and Lava is a level in Rayman 2: The Great Escape. It is the last of the sanctuaries to bear one of the Four Masks of Polokus, which is actually beneath the sanctuary, and is the second one to be filled with lava. In Rayman Revolution it's called Beneath the Lava Sanctuary or Beneath the Sanctuary of Lava. It also features a new mini-boss called Chinelle, a larger redish version of the Shadow Creatures.

Description
This sanctuary is located deep in the marshlands, and inside the temple are steams of lava and thickets of thorns. Rayman can avoid these by standing on floating umbrella plants (similar to the flower platforms from the previous Rayman game) which carry him though the thorny pits, but eventually either wither away or get burned.

The level continues as a seperate level set beneath the sanctuary, where the Lava mask is really hidden.

Rayman 3 (GBA) is a portable version of the console game of the same name which was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. It is the first handheld Rayman game to feature multi-player modes which made use of the Game Boy Advance/GameCube link cable, to link to the GameCube version. It is a 2D side-scrolling game with elements from Rayman, Rayman 2, and Rayman 3, though it is mostly centered around the story of Rayman 2. There are also versions of this game for some mobile phones, and it was ported to the Nokia N-Gage. It had not received the "Hoodlum Havoc" subtitle due to Hoodlums only being present as enemies in two levels of the game (Hoodlum Hideout and Wretched Ruins).

GameCube Link
Players which have both Rayman 3 on the Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo GameCube can link the two games together using the special Game Boy Advance/GameCube link cable. Both of these have content only playable through this method. On the GameCube, there are unlockable minigames where Rayman is driving Kart and Globox is building Rayman's path. There is a second minigame similar to this, except two link cables, two Rayman 3 GBA cartridges, and two GameCube controllers are required. This one is basically the same, though there is a second team consisting of Reflux and Gumsi. On the Game Boy Advance, when the link is detected (due to data having to be transferred from the GameCube game to play), shorter bonus stages are available to play. A new bonus stage becomes available for every 100 lums collected (out of 1000).
*Red Lums: These refill one space of your health bar if you collect one.
*Green Lums: These work as checkpoints. If you collect a Green Lum, you respawn back at the place you got it if you die.
*Silver Lums: Whenever you collect one of these you gain an extra life. They don't appear in the game very often, though.
*Cages: Cages are hidden throughout the levels, and imprisoned within them are some of the inhabitants. Hit the cage two times to free them.
*Lightposts: These are green lights on a post. They always at the end of a part of a level, and whenever you go to one, you proceed to the next part of the level.

In Rayman 2, he can be seen flying around Rayman in the Woods of Light.

In Rayman Revolution, Bzzit also serves as a ferryman for the Lost Island, taking people there if ever they need to get there. He does this from the Pier, a beach on the Minisaurus Plains, along with a baby Globox friend of his. When the Robo-Pirates attacked they captured Bzzit and trapped him in a force field in the Bayou. When Rayman came, he freed Bzzit and Bzzit took him back to the Pier so Rayman could travel to the Lost Island for the first mask.

Like many characters, Bzzit's appearance is a bit different throughout the games. In 3D games, he has six insectoid legs instead of limbless hands and feet.

Bzzit also made an appearance in the Rayman 3 mini-game 2-D Madness, though it could also be Moskito (the adult version of Bzzit), as they have the same colours in most versions.
Skins are only unlocked in Rayman M/Arena/Rush with most of the characters earning them in Rayman M, but all the characters get a skin in Rayman Arena. Each character unlocks up to 3 skins in Rayman M, but in Rayman Arena, everyone gets four skins except for Dark Globox, Rayman, Tily, Henchman 1000 and Razorwife. who they only get one. Each skin (but Rayman's) changes the beat for the character's theme to what it is most suited to. (E.g. Globox has his strawberry skin and is racing in the Extreme League. The beat for the Extreme League racing is fast, and the beat for the Advanced League is light and watery. Globox's skin will change the beat from the Exteme League to the Advanced League.) But if it is in its League, it will change to the Beginner League's beat (thumping in the background). The skins do not have this effect on battles. It is unnoticable, but may be true that the skins in their league make the event slightly easier.

Rayman
Rayman's only skin is Dark Rayman.

Razorbeard
One of Razorbeard's skins is him covered everywhere with very dark navy blue, apart from his buckle, which is gold, and his eyes, which are glowing red. His other skin is all of his clothes are coloured blue and white in stripes, his hat is completely blue, apart from the skull and crossbones which is white. He also has a slight shade of blue on his head.

Globox
Globox's Advanced League skin is him having a strawberry colour scheme skin. His Expert League skin is him wearing Rayman's shirt, which doesn't fit him, and Rayman's topaz colour skin. His Extreme League skin leaves on his head and the same colour skin for his body. In Rayman Arena, he has another skin which is him having yellow skin all over him, apart from his head, and is polka dotted with purple.

Henchman 800
Henchman 800's Advanced League skin is a metalic green, and a small, human like eye, with his other completely pink, which could be possibly a brain. His Expert League is a gold and dark red paint job. His Extreme League skin is a wooden plating and hints of green paint. In Rayman Arena, his whole body is painted with silver, with a few holes in his arms and chin. He is also painted with a few strips of red.

Teensies
The Teensies Advanced League skin is them wearing cream colour clothes, a green crown with a hint of purple at the top and red skin. Their Expert League skin is them wearing blue robes and a blue crown. They still have a white skin but have larger eyes. Their Extreme League skin is them wearing leapord skin robes and crown, and their skin is brown.

Henchman 1000
Henchman 1000's Advanced League skin is a fine silver body with a purple hat and legs, and his eyes are bright yellow. His Expert League skin is a red and yellow paint job. His Extreme League skin is yellow and green paint job with black dots over his body and wonky eyes.

Tily
One of Tily's skins is her skin is a slightly more dark cream colour, she has purple stripes over her skin, her hair is purple and she has more visible eyelashes.

Razorwife
One of Razorwife's skins is her hair and her sunglasses is now gold, and she now wears a silver dress.

Dark Globox
One of Dark Globox's skins is blue-green skin, making him very similar to Globox.
