Rayman Dictées is one of the educative games from the Rayman Learning Game Series. This game for the PC is only sold on France and Canada and is available in the French language only, no other language versions were made. Rayman Dictées, as the name suggests, it focuses on dictation exercises to test the player's knowledge and to improve his/hers spelling and grammar capacities. It also features exclusive human characters such as Clara the Witch, Patrick, Gaaf, Tim, Junior, Landra and Sam.

Plot
One day, Rayman is resting on his room and Clara the Witch appears by magic with a machine called Télévox. Clara explains to Rayman that the Telebox was broken on a middle of a argument between Rayman's friends from the Amnesia Island, and she cast a curse, called "The Curse of the Express Refrigerator" by freezing Rayman's human friends' from the feet until the torso. She also explains that she can only free them if the Telebox is fixed. Rayman accepts to help, and he magicaly jumps to the Télévox.

Trivia
* Razorbeard's Lackey makes a cameo appearance on the room where Rayman rests. It isn't known if it is a doll or the real body.
* According to the game, the room where Rayman is resting on the Intro cinematic (And the main menu place) is his own room.
* A sound effect present on the game, is also present on Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc game.
* A Rayman 1 music fragment appears on one kind of grammar exercise, which corresponds to "Eat at Joe's" level.

85.246.5.178: /* Random stuff related with Rayman */

Howdy, I'm Haruka (In some places known as Haruka Tavares) and I'm 17.
Where I live? Well, it is known as being located on Europe's Tail. You got it, it's Portugal (Ah, if it wasn't Wikipedia or Google right? 8D), and I'm Portuguese native so I can just say that I live somewhere on it and somewhere on the Glade of Dreams' Forests. Nowadays I'm studying Visual Arts of High School and my dream is to become a Cartoonist.

I'm a veteran Rayman player (And fanatic) for 9 years, almost one decade: doing maths you guess it all started on year 2000... on a very odd way.

I was on a neighbour's house (that after we became enemies a couple of months later, you'll know why) to pass the afternoon with him, he had a Playstation 1. On the same day I saw him playing Rayman 1, on the first levels and I got amazed with the game. I was astonished with the smooth graphics and animations, the details, the colours, the environments, the music, the gameplay and especially from the most original feature: The very cute playable character that has no arms, no legs and no neck.
That neighbour was horrible on playing the game, he was always loosing (He couldn't beat Bzzit). I asked him to try out the game, and I succeed on defeating Bzzit and entering on the Band Land stage with the Purple Rings power unlocked before leaving the Dream Forest. The neighbour got so embarassed because of my achievement (and knowing that I was hooked to the game) that from that day after he started to insult me. And that's how my fanatism appeared. (You're right, who would guess this?)

I also note that on the same day I tried Rayman 2: The Great Escape DEMO included on a Playstation Magazine CD he had.

My first Rayman game to be bought was Rayman M for PC, bought around November/December of 2001.

On June 2009, my last English Oral Presentation work was about Rayman Game Series, which I got a got a score of 18/20.
