Mr. Clock (no official name) is the clock who you find in the continue screen after Rayman loses all his lives. In the PC version of Rayman 1, you can see how many continues you have on the main menu screen. There are only ten Mr. Clocks in the game, but you can't ever earn them back. You get them all at the start of the game. Mr. Clock is a Raymanian, and has his hands set to 2 and 10.

To lose a Mr. Clock, you have to wait for him to count down to 0. To find Mr. Clock, just lose all your lives. If you accept his offer for a continue, he starts dancing uncontrollably. If you refuse or you haven't got any, he looks tired.

Raymanian is the language used by the intelligent species of the Glade of Dreams. It was first identified in first identified in Rayman 2: Revolution, where it can be chosen amongst other languages.

It seems to sound different with different species to fit their personality, such as Ly's sounding like echoing, Murphy's sounding like whispers and Razorbeard's sounding like an angry robot. It was only used in Rayman 2 and you could choose it in Rayman 2: Revolution. Also, the characters seem to speak it in Rayman M, Rayman Raving Rabbids and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. It isn't used in Rayman 3 though.

Rayman also seems to be able to speak English, French, German, etc., as at the end of Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 (DS) he is speaking to some humans.

A Raymanian is also a type of character, most of which appear in Rayman 1, which include all the characters featured. Raymanians look like Rayman, with no arms, legs or neck.

Antitoons are the most common enemies in Rayman 1. They can be found in every world.

They are small bodies of dark energy which came to be after Mr. Dark had stolen the Great Protoon. Their appearance is the same as that of an Electoon, but bigger, dark blue in colour and with light blue ponytails. There are several kinds of Antitoons, each with a different behaviour. All of them are weak enemies which only take one hit to be defeated.

Walking Antitoons are the most common of them. They freely wander on their platform, turning backwards when they face an obstacle. Rayman must simply avoid contact with them. Their small size makes them harder to hit, and Rayman often has to duck after punching so that the return of his fist hits them.

Jumping Antitoons are static enemies who jump and try to bite Rayman when he passes above them. They are often placed so that they can take advantage of their position.

Charging Antitoons are static enemies who resemble their jumping counterparts, as they jump when Rayman is in sight, but then, they stop in the air and charge him who will have to duck quickly.

Flying Antitoons use their ponytail like Rayman's helicopter hair to move in the air. Rayman simply has to avoid contact with them. The fact that they're often in group makes it harder though.

Antitoons with a mixed behaviour can also be found in the game, such as walking and then jumping ones, or flying and walking ones.

In the Rayman Junior games, there are invincible and deadly red Antitoons who are here to sanction wrong answers. They can be of any kind, and any contact with them costs Rayman a life.

Antitoons also made a cameo appearance in the PlayStation version of Rayman 2.

The Anitoon's name may be derived from 'anitron'.

The Great Protoon is the source of all of the energy of Rayman's world that is depicted in the original Rayman. It maintains the world's harmony between its people and nature, and Electoons circle around it - without it, they would scatter all over the place and the world would lose its balance. Because of its immense power, it has been the target of Mr Dark's evil scheme to rule the world.

However, due to how the game ends, it is unknown as to how Rayman actually retrieved the Great Protoon, though it is assumed that he has.

It is possible that the Heart of the World and the Great Protoon are actually the same thing, only under different names. The reason the Heart's appearance is so different from the Great Protoon's may be that it looks different since its destruction by the Robo-Pirate Army and its subsequent repairal by the Teensies.

The Great Protoon's name is derived from the word 'proton'.
