The Iron Mountains (also known as Gloomy Island) is a level in Rayman 2: The Great Escape. It is where the Air Mask is found despite not necessarily being a sanctuary.

Description
This level is set high up in the mountainous regions of the Glade of Dreams where a number of pirate strongholds are built. Deep in the canyons nearby are mines in which a large number of Baby Globoxes are held captive. Many Red Robo-Pirates were seen as guards.

Phase 1
Rayman is outside a metalworks building with a generator room inside, and he has to shoot two switches to deactivate an electric field and go down the middle of a rotating machine and into a pipe that leads to a grassy area. Going though another tunnel past a swampy lake, there is another pirate stronghold which Rayman has to jump from the top and glide down a rapid river. At the edge is a hot air balloon which Rayman hops in and rides.

Phase 2
He then lands in a field with yet another stronghold, which is this time guarded by an invincible giant robot that resembles a dinosaur or perhaps a chicken. The robot is so heavy, everytime it jumps it sends objects in the air, making it useful for Rayman to infiltrate the stronghold, which has a few baby Globoxes are held captive. Rayman soon finds a walking shell and has to ride all over the place to collect Yellow Lums and find two switches (three switches in the PlayStation version) to release the babies.

Phase 3
Deep in a canyon Rayman has to cross a polluted pond, and he'll eventually meet Uglette, Globox's wife, who is upset by the fact that more of her babies are missing and held in the mines. The player then takes control of a pirate ship and has to fly it around the canyons and find the four mines. When all of mines are visited, the ship has to go back to Uglette and reunite the babies. One of them withdraws the last mask from its mouth and gives it to Rayman.

Version differences
* In the PlayStation version of Rayman 2, this level is renamed to Gloomy Island, Uglette appeared in the first cutscene and the last cutscene, and the part with the pirate ship is removed.
* In Rayman Revolution, Rayman is given the Rain Mask instead, and has to fight Grolem 13 in order to get the final mask.

Rayman Rush is a remake of Rayman M developed by Ubisoft Shanghai only for the Sony Playstation in 2002. While it was the same game as Rayman M both in terms of plot and concept, only the racing half of the game was ported, and there are a lot of differences, probably due to the Playstation's limited specifications, resulting in a poor conversion.

Differences
* The Teensies are replaced by a pink female Globox called Globette who is unlockable, uses Tily's sound clips sped down, and has a brand new theme. Because of this you only start with just four characters in this version.
* The menu music is lower in pitch.
* Each character is now equipped with freeze bullets like in the Rayman M battle game Lum Spring, which freezes a character for five seconds when shot.
* Some of Rayman Ms bonus levels now use textures and are made into proper levels, most notably the Canopy.
* The Water Canyon level has a new map.
* The game has a slightly different ending, which is shown after beating just the Championship.
* Only 2 players can play together this time.
* While it also has the same intro as Rayman M, the part which introduces the Teensies was removed.
* The Popolopoï mode is renamed to "Target Mode", and a time attack mode was added.
* The Lums Mode is now all about collecting as many yellow Lums as possible while running against another character.
* Tily's voice is apparently a mix of her voice clips and Ly's, which are sped up.

Issues
A known issue of the game is that it is somehow impossible to complete the game at 100%. Clearing every single challenge will only leave the player's file at 98.8%. Why this happens is currently unknown.

Levels
* First Ruins
* Nebulous Tower
* Dark Sewer
* Water Canyon
* Dawn Sand
*Wayne Grayson as Globox
*Jodi Forrest as Tily, Razorwife, Globette
The Henchman 800 Unit is a Robo-Pirate unit that comprises the majority of the Robo-Pirate Army led by Admiral Razorbeard. They are most famous (and infamous) for being the most common enemy in Rayman 2: The Great Escape and in its remake, Rayman 2: Revolution.
Main article: Robo-Pirate Army<br>

The ranks of the Henchman 800s is determined by color, though this isn't very noticeable until Rayman 2: Revolution, as color ranks overlap in Rayman 2: The Great Escape. There are also many ranks that only appeared in Revolution and/or the PlayStation version of Rayman 2. Rank strength can commonly be seen in how many hits it takes in Revolution to take down a Green Robo-Pirate, which then may be compared to the higher ranks.

Rayman 3 (GBA) is a portable version of the console game of the same name which was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. It is the first handheld Rayman game to feature multi-player modes which made use of the Game Boy Advance/GameCube link cable, to link to the GameCube version. It is a 2D side-scrolling game with elements from Rayman, Rayman 2, and Rayman 3, though it is mostly centered around the story of Rayman 2. There are also versions of this game for some mobile phones, and it was ported to the Nokia N-Gage. It had not received the "Hoodlum Havoc" subtitle due to Hoodlums only being present as enemies in two levels of the game (Hoodlum Hideout and Creeping Chaos).

GameCube Link
Players which have both Rayman 3 on the Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo GameCube can link the two games together using the special Game Boy Advance/GameCube link cable. Both of these have content only playable through this method. On the GameCube, there are unlockable minigames where Rayman is driving Kart and Globox is building Rayman's path. There is a second minigame similar to this, except two link cables, two Rayman 3 GBA cartridges, and two GameCube controllers are required. This one is basically the same, though there is a second team consisting of Reflux and Gumsi. On the Game Boy Advance, when the link is detected (due to data having to be transferred from the GameCube game to play), shorter bonus stages are available to play. A new bonus stage becomes available for every 100 lums collected (out of 1000).

Levels
Forgotten Forests
* Wanderwood Forest
This is the first level where you meet Murphy and he tells you about the Lums and Cages. At the end of the level Ly gives you the ability to shoot both your fists one after the other. The only enemies here are the Piranhas.

* Shining Glade
Similar to Wanderwood Forest, except here you learn to ride throught the water on barrels, and you learn how to use the kegs to smash open doors. The enemies here are Piranhas, Puffer Balls and the normal Robo-Pirates which are Red Henchmen 800s.

* Swamps of Begoniax
The Swamps of Begoniax is very similar to the Marshes of Awakening from Rayman 2. You ride on Sssssam the Snake like a waterski, collecting Lums, steering past Pirate Bombs and jumping over sandbanks. There are no enemies here.

* Garish Gears
The first boss level. It like the machine you must destroy to free Ly in Rayman 2. You basically pick up the kegs and throw them at the machine, destroying the bombs it launches at you. When you beat him, Ly gives the power to swing on the floating crowns.

* Hoodlum Hideout
This is one of the only two levels with the Hoodlums in. Here, you swing on the crowns a lot of the time. The enemies here are the Grimkeepers, Hoodstormers and Slapdashes.

* Mega Havoc 1

Haunted Dreams
* Magma Mayhem
You ride on a strange bouncy vehicle here. You must collect the Lums and avoid touching any obstacles or the sides of the track, or you take a hit. The only problem is it's very hard to steer, so you have to be very careful. There are no enemies on this level.

* Vertigo Wastes
Very much like the Echoing Caves from Rayman 2. On the first part, you must find and tuern on all four switches scattered throughout the place. On the second part, you learn to fly the kegs, avoiding any objects that get in your way. The only enemies here are the silver Robo-Pirates.

* Void of Bones
You have to climb across ladders made of bones, jump across floating skulls and use the magic spheres to open doors on this level. The Zombie Chickens and the Shadow Caterpillars are the enemies on this level.

* Jano's Nest
Fighting Jano, the Guardian of the Cave of Bad Dreams, is the same as fighting him in Rayman 2. You avoid his fireballs and shoot the skulls he launches at you so you can use them as platforms to get across to him. When he's defeated, Ly gives you the ability to climb between two walls.

* Prickly Passage
This is where you learn to ride the Walking Shells. You have to jump across large gaps and duck under the swinging spiky balls. There are no enemies on this level.

*Ly's Punch Challenges 1

* Swamps of Begoniax II
The same as part 1, except harder.

* Mega Havoc 2

Magmacosm
* River of Fire
* The Underlands
* Boulder Brink
* Den of Rocky
* Wretched Ruins
* Wicked Flow
* Mega Havoc 3

Pirate Stronghold
* Creeping Chaos
* Scaleman's Keep
* The Mettleworks
* Magma Mayhem II
* Razor Slide
* Mega Havoc 4
* Lum Challange
* Ly's Punch Challenges 2
* Heart of the Ancients

Items
Yellow Lums:
You have to collect all of these in every level. Some are hidden, and some are in you pathway. Getting all of the Lums in one world gives you access to the Mega Havoc level of that world.

Red Lums:
These refill one space of your health bar if you collect one.

Blue Lums:
Blue Lums let you use your helicopter hair to fly. Most of them only allow you to do it for a short time, but at one point in the game you find one that lets you fly for as long as you want until you reach the end of that part.

Green Lums:
These work as checkpoints. If you colelect a Green Lum, you respawn back at the place you got it if you die.

Silver Lums:
Whenever you collect one of these you gain an extra life. They don't appear in the game very often, though.

Cages:
Cages are hidden throughout the levels, and imprisoned within them are some of the inhabitants. Hit the cage two times to free them.

Lightposts:
These are green lights on a post. They always at the end of a part of a level, and whenever you go to one, you proceed to the next part of the level.

Pirate Bombs:
Walking Missiles:
Flying Missiles:
Skulls:

* Wanderwood Forest
This is the first level where you meet Murphy and he tells you about the Lums and Cages. At the end of the level Ly gives you the ability to shoot both your fists one after the other. The only enemies here are the Piranhas.

* Shining Glade
Similar to Wanderwood Forest, except here you learn to ride throught the water on barrels, and you learn how to use the kegs to smash open doors. The enemies here are Piranhas, Puffer Balls and the normal Robo-Pirates which are Red Henchmen 800s.

* Swamps of Begoniax
The Swamps of Begoniax is very similar to the Marshes of Awakening from Rayman 2. You ride on Sssssam the Snake like a waterski, collecting Lums, steering past Pirate Bombs and jumping over sandbanks. There are no enemies here.

* Garish Gears
The first boss level. It like the machine you must destroy to free Ly in Rayman 2. You basically pick up the kegs and throw them at the machine, destroying the bombs it launches at you. When you beat him, Ly gives the power to swing on the floating crowns.

* Hoodlum Hideout
This is one of the only two levels with the Hoodlums in. Here, you swing on the crowns a lot of the time. The enemies here are the Grimkeepers, Hoodstormers and Slapdashes.

* Mega Havoc 1

Haunted Dreams
* Magma Mayhem
You ride on a strange bouncy vehicle here. You must collect the Lums and avoid touching any obstacles or the sides of the track, or you take a hit. The only problem is it's very hard to steer, so you have to be very careful. There are no enemies on this level.

* Vertigo Wastes
Very much like the Echoing Caves from Rayman 2. On the first part, you must find and tuern on all four switches scattered throughout the place. On the second part, you learn to fly the kegs, avoiding any objects that get in your way. The only enemies here are the silver Robo-Pirates.

* Void of Bones
You have to climb across ladders made of bones, jump across floating skulls and use the magic spheres to open doors on this level. The Zombie Chickens and the Shadow Caterpillars are the eneimes on this level.

* Jano's Nest

* Prickly Passage
This is where you learn to ride the Walking Shells. You have to jump across large gaps and duck under the swinging spiky balls. There are no enemies on this level.

*Ly's Punch Challenges 1

* Swamps of Begoniax II
The same as part 1, except harder.

* Mega Havoc 2

Magmacosm
* River of Fire
* The Underlands
* Boulder Brink
* Den of Rocky
* Wretched Ruins
* Wicked Flow
* Mega Havoc 3

Pirate Stronghold
* Creeping Chaos
* Scaleman's Keep
* The Mettleworks
* Magma Mayhem II
* Razor Slide
* Mega Havoc 4
* Lum Challange
* Ly's Punch Challenges 2
* Heart of the Ancients

Skulls:

The Hoodlum Headquarters is the second last level in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. After climbing to the top of the Summit Beyond the Clouds Rayman is forced to snowboard after his frozen friend Globox. When Rayman manages to pass him their weight combined manages to break the stone shelf they were standing on tumbling them into the HQ.

The HHQ is over seen by the game's major enemy André, who uses tricks and traps to capture Rayman's friend globox. The actual environment is a hacked together never-seen vehicle which transports Rayman to the Leptys where by he can trick the King of the Knaaren into using the scepter to call for power via the gods.

André's machine 'the horrible machine', is defeated and in a last ditch attempt to stop Rayman he opens up the flood gates holding back the lava effectively destroying his own ship and killing a proportion of his own army. Both André and Rayman survive the suicide attempt.

Trivia
*A random type of Hoodlum comes out while battling 'the horrible machine'.
*The lava floods quickly and Slapdashes comes out to block Rayman.

It had not received the "Hoodlum Havoc" subtitle due to Hoodlums only being present as enemies in two levels of the game.

* Wanderwood Forest
This is the first level where you meet Murphy and he tells you about the Lums and Cages. At the end of the level Ly gives you the ability to shoot both your fists one after the other. The only enemies here are the Piranhas.

* Shining Glade
Similar to Wanderwood Forest, except here you learn to ride throught the water on barrels, and you learn how to use the kegs to smash open doors. The enemies here are Piranhas, Puffer Balls and the normal Robo-Pirates.

* Swamps of Begoniax
The Swamps of Begoniax is very similar to the Marshes of Awakening from Rayman 2. You ride on Sssssam the Snake like a waterski, collecting Lums, steering past Pirate Bombs and jumping over sandbanks. There are no enemies here.

* Garish Gears
The first boss level. It like the machine you must destroy to free Ly in Rayman 2. You basically pick up the kegs and throw them at the machine, destroying the bombs it launches at you. When you beat him, Ly gives the power to swing on the floating crowns.

* Hoodlum Hideout
This is one of the only two levels with the Hoodlums in. Here, you swing on the crowns a lot of the time. The enemies here are the Grimkeepers, Hoodstormers and Slapdash.

* Mega Havoc 1

Haunted Dreams
* Magma Mayhem
You ride on a strange bouncy vehicle here. You must collect the Lums and avoid touching any obstacles or the sides of the track, or you take a hit. The only problem is it's very hard to steer, so you have to be very careful. There are no enemies on this level.

* Vertigo Wastes
Very much like the Echoing Caves from Rayman 2. On the first part, you must find and tuern on all four switches scattered throughout the place. On the second part, you learn to fly the kegs, avoiding any objects that get in your way. The only enemies here are the silver Robo-Pirates.

* Void of Bones
You have to climb across ladders made of bones, jump across floating skulls and use the magic spheres to open doors on this level. The Zombie Chickens and the Shadow Caterpillars are the eneimes on this level.

* Jano's Nest

* Prickly Passage
This is where you learn to ride the Walking Shells. You have to jump across large gaps and duck under the swinging spiky balls. There are no enemies on this level.

*Ly's Punch Challenges 1

* Swamps of Begoniax II
The same as part 1, except harder.

* Mega Havoc 2

Magmacosm
* River of Fire
* The Underlands
* Boulder Brink
* Den of Rocky
* Wretched Ruins
* Wicked Flow
* Mega Havoc 3

Pirate Stronghold
* Creeping Chaos
* Scaleman's Keep
* The Mettleworks
* Magma Mayhem II
* Razor Slide
* Mega Havoc 4
* Lum Challange
* Ly's Punch Challenges 2
* Heart of the Ancients

Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc is the sequel to Rayman 2: The Great Escape. It was released starting on the 3rd of March 2003 for the Sony PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Nokia N-GAGE, PC, and Mac. Rayman 3 was 3D, with graphics similar to Rayman 2: Revolution. However, Rayman 3s levels were a series of "action stages" as opposed to having a single level per world (as were most of Rayman 2's). Also unlike Rayman 2 and especially Revolution, the levels strictly followed a "movie"-like plot; in other words, returning to a level meant returning to a point in the adventure (such as Rayman falling in Begoniax's outhouse) instead of returning to a location in the adventure. Rayman 3 also featured a scoring system, and players could post their final scores on the then-new RaymanZone website.

Worlds
Similar to the gap between Rayman and Rayman 2, all locations in Rayman 3 were new and unconnected to previous games. However, they are still the same environments as Rayman's games tend to stick with: the mountains, forests, and swamps from Rayman, and the plains, coasts, and fortresses from Rayman 2. One area in particular, the Fairy Council, was alluded to in Rayman 2, and Count Razoff's father supposedly shot something as large as Space Mama; these allusions make Rayman 3s locations generally regarded as still being in the same canon as Rayman and especially Rayman 2.

Rayman 3s worlds in particular picked up on a lot of things Rayman 2 and Revolution lacked: unique environments. While the Iron Mountains and the Menhir Hills pretty much looked the same, Rayman 3 's worlds were vast and varied. Many elements from Revolution were included in Rayman 3 's worlds--the most evident of these are the ambient sounds (for example, the Desert of the Knaaren has the same ambience as Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava) and the unique lighting. Rayman 3 also had many instances of stained glass windows, also a previous characteristic of the Lava Sanctuary.

Rayman 3 returned to the fairy tale-like theme of Rayman 's locations, though not as surreal. Many odd locales dot Rayman 3 's small collection of worlds, such as in the Fairy Council and the Longest Shortcut.

Finally, Rayman 3 included many allusions to its two predecessors, including a statue of Ly the Fairy (who is oddly absent from the Fairy Council), and an appearently "frozen" state of Admiral Razorbeard and his Robo-Pirate Army.

Plot
The Fairy Council is suddenly invaded by Black Lums. Clusters of Black Lums form and begin stealing the fur from several animals to make patchwork disguises, which became known as Hoodlums. Led by André, the Hoodlums attempt to reach the Heart of the World in order to corrupt it and create thousands of more Black Lums. However, as soon as they are about to reach their goal, Globox accidentally swallows André when Globox and Rayman were trying to foil their plans. Rayman then sets out in search of a doctor who can remove André from his friend.

Score System
Rayman 3 was the second game to have a score system (after Rayman 2: Revolution), and the first for the score system to be in an arcade-style format. This score system allowed players to upload their scores onto RaymanZone's Lums Quest. The score system increased the replay value of Rayman 3. The scoring system followed this formula:<br>
#Collect a Gem / Break a Piggy Bank / Defeat a Hoodlum
#Points are added to Score
#Combo Mode starts
#During Combo Mode, step 1 brings double points to step 2
#Unless step 1 is carried out consistently, Combo Mode shortly ends

If Rayman is using a Laser-Washing Powder Can, each point is doubled, increasing the amount of points he can get and quadrupling the payoff of Combo Mode.

With the reformat of RaymanZone for Rayman Raving Rabbids, the Lums Quest ended.

Levels
* The Fairy Council
* Clearleaf Forest
* The Bog of Murk
* The Land of the Livid Dead
* The Summit Beyond the Clouds
* Hoodlum Headquarters

*The lava floods quickly and Slapdash comes out to block Rayman.

The Iron Mountains (also known as Gloomy Island) is a level in Rayman 2: The Great Escape. It is where the last Mask of Polokus is found despite not necessarily being a sanctuary.

Rayman soon finds a walking shell and has to ride all over the place to collect Yellow Lums and find two switches to release the babies.

They fire bullets that is the same as the Green Robo-Pirate, but has more accuracy and faster. They wear a red bandanna, has a black torso, has a clinder for a head, has a white eye, and an eye patch. Ninja Henchmen has a heavy hook for a weakness that is revealed in Rayman 2 of the PlayStation version. In Rayman 2 in other versions, Ninja Henchmen use a flamethrower or the Purple Robo-Pirate bullets. They have more life than all the other Robo-Pirates and appeared out of a cloud of dust trying to hook Rayman.
Rayman 2/Rayman DS
Ninjaws and the Ninja Pirates first appeared in Rayman 2, they're hard to defeat and they serve as mini-bosses, but Ninjaws is a boss and has alot more life than his Ninja Henchmen.
Rayman 2: Revolution
Ninjaws never appeared in Revolution, but two of his Ninja Henchmen did. They're renamed Generator Guardians and they guard the generators in the Generator Rooms of the Precipice and the Echoing Caves.
Phase 1
The passage to the Fairy Glade is found in the underground area and is accessed by rocketing over there with a keg.

Rayman Revolution (known in the United States as Rayman 2: Revolution) is an updated remake of Rayman 2: The Great Escape made specially as a launch title for the Sony PlayStation 2 in 2000. Several changes have been made for this version, notably the upgraded graphics, the inclusion of new worlds and mini-games, and the order of the gameplay. Its difficulty was also slightly higher of Rayman 2. Similar to the PlayStation version of Rayman 2, some levels were shaped differently or removed (i.e. The Echoing Caves).

New Features
Akin to games such as Sonic Adventure, the levels in Rayman Revolution are accessed via three new hub worlds: The Minisaurus Plain, Globox's House, and Rainbow Creek that allow free roaming, making this version a lot less linear than the previous versions. There are also new events, missions, and puzzles to accomplish. In addition, new characters are introduced such as Bzzit, and Rayman can acquire new powers, items and abilities, such as the ones he can buy with the Yellow Lums he collected at the Magic Well, an equivalent to the typical item shop.

Characters such as Ly, Clark, and the Teensies appear a lot more often in this version. Ly increases Rayman's health by offering minigames, which include the Walks of Power and Life and the roller coaster segment that was previously in the Top of the World, in exchange for the Familiar Spirits, a new kind of spirits that are trapped in the cages. Meanwhile, the Teensies host the Stone Circles, which allow Rayman to return to places he has already visited.

Powers and Items
The game requires a lot more backtracking than before to collect the rest of the Lums that Rayman could not reach for the first time. Objects such as cannons, beacons, plants and mushrooms appear throughout the game, and need Rayman to gain his new powers and specials items (such as the Rain Mask) in order to use them. A notable difference between the previous versions is that Rayman is not granted with the shooting power at the beginning, but is simply given the ability to punch, though he is shortly given the shooting power by the Teensies. As Rayman progresses, his shots get much stronger thanks to Silver Lums, until he can produce a shot that is as powerful as an exploding grenade.

Later in the game, Rayman is given some items to help him, such as the Rain Mask, which performs a Rain Dance like Globox's and helps plants to grow, and the Lums Radar, which is a magnet that can help him find any Yellow Lums that he may have missed. Reminiscing the original Rayman, Rayman can be shrunk to help him squeeze through small holes by eating mushrooms that he can water with the Rain Dance.

Unlike the previous versions, Rayman can keep his flying power, which he lost beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava, conditionally - he can only use it whenever he is flying above any body of lava.
Glitches
This is a list of some of the most notable glitches in the game, among others.

List of glitches
Walking Shell Sound - If you turn up or turn down the sound effects volume in the options menu, you hear different sounds. One of them is a walking shell sound. If you hear it while turning up the volume, try holding the 'right' button, and exit the pause menu. The sound will continue.

Helicoptering Off the Front:
1. Go to the Teensie Circle in Globox's House.
2. Stand on the rickety wooden bridge nearby.
3. Make Rayman jump off the bridge at the highest altitude and speed as possible.
4. At the top of the jump, begin to helicopter.
5. Continue helicoptering forwards as though you want to reach the distant mountains.
6. The screen will turn a light blue, but continue helicoptering forwards.
7. The screen will return to normal, but Rayman is now jet black.
8. You can now helicopter all the way down to the forest and rivers below, but Rayman will go straight through them.
9. The screen will now turn blue again, but Rayman will still be visible, jet black.
10. You can continue to helicopter forever if you wish.
11. While helicoptering at any point in this glitch, if you stop helicoptering for around two seconds or more, you will fall and die.

Flying First-Person View - It often happens when you run through the door that leads to where you meet Clark, in the Menhir Hills. In View mode, you can fly around the level, and you can even leave it, and fly out to "Orange World". This also allows Rayman to run around in the walking shell tracks. It is still unknown as to how exactly it is performed.

Air Swimming - This is notably easier to perform than some others:
1. Go to the Skull Cave.
2. Use the flying helicopter power to hover over the lava.
3. Go through the rock over the entrance.
4. Land in the water, right outside the big cave you see.
5. You can now swim around in the air. However, given that the game sees it as swimming, Rayman will eventually die due to a "lack of air".

Rayman Goes Insane - Perform the air swimming glitch and fly/swim to the entrance of the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire. Fly as high as you can, or Rayman will just enter the level normally. If you do it right, it should look like this:
Link!
After a long time, Rayman will start leaving the screen, but he will come back later, and start flying through the rock.

When Rayman manages to pass him their weight combined manages to break the stone shelf they were standing on tumbling them into the HQ.

The HHQ is over seen by the game's major enemy André, who uses tricks and traps to capture Rayman's friend globox. ==Ninjaws==
Ninjaws is the elite of the Ninja Henchmen and he's the same as the Ninja Henchmen. Ninjaws reported to Admiral Razorbeard in Razorbeard's cabin that he captured more than 5000 slaves in the PlayStation version of Rayman 2: The Great Escape and Razorbeard ordered Ninjaws and his Ninja Pirates to kill Rayman, but they were defeated by Rayman.
Ninja Henchmen/Black Robo-Pirates
Ninja Pirates appeared as a mini-boss two times in Rayman 2, one in the Precipice and another in the Prison Ship. In Rayman 2: Revolution they're Generator Guardians of the two generators of the Pirate Factory and have unlimited heath. In the PlayStation version, they appeared three times as mini-bosses in the Precipice, the Tomb of the Ancients, and Gloomy Island.
Description
Role in Games
Rayman 2/Rayman DS
Ninjaws and the Ninja Pirates first appeared in Rayman 2, they're hard to defeat and they serve as mini-bosses, but Ninjaws is a boss and has alot more life than his Ninja Henchmen.
Rayman 2: Revolution
Ninjaws never appeared in Revolution, but two of his Ninja Henchmen did. They're renamed Generator Guardians and they guard the generators in the Generator Rooms of the Precipice and the Echoing Caves.
Trivia
*Ninjaws is the boss of the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire in the PlayStation version of Rayman 2.
