&#039;&#039;&#039;The Tower of the Leptys&#039;&#039;&#039; is the ninth and final level of &#039;&#039;[[Rayman 3]]&#039;&#039;. It is the tower built by the [[Knaaren]] for their god, [[the Leptys]]. The only enemies here are several kinds of [[Hoodlum]]s, [[André]], and the final boss, [[Reflux]], who is a [[Knaaren]] that [[Rayman]] has to defeat in four fights. The first three fights are at the top of the tower and the last one is in [[the Leptys]]&#039; world in the sky.&lt;br /&gt;

==As a level==&lt;br /&gt;
===Stage 1 – The Great Fights===&lt;br /&gt;
[[Rayman]] must fight his way up the tower. The first group of [[Hoodlum]]s consist of [[Hoodmonger]]s, a [[Hoodmonger Soldier]], a [[Hoodoo]], [[Hoodmonger Officer]]s and a [[Hoodstormer]], all in that order in terms of first seen. Once they all are destroyed, a [[Heavy Metal Fist]] can appears, needed to destroy a barricade blocking the way. As [[Rayman]] passes the bodies of lava, he encounters the second group of [[Hoodlum]]s. This one has several [[Hoodstormer]]s, a [[Heckler]], and a [[Hoodmonger Officer]]. Once they and the [[Hoodmonger Officer]] are defeated, [[Rayman]] can now destroy the [[Heckler]]. After that, three more [[Heckler]]s come running in. [[Rayman]] will need to keep refilling the [[Heavy Metal Fist]] in order to successfully destroy the three [[Heckler]]s. Once dead, for the first time in the game, a [[Hoodoo]], whom is protecting a [[Hoodmonger Soldier]], is being protected by another [[Hoodoo]]. When [[Rayman]] defeats the two [[Hoodoo]]s and the [[Hoodmonger Soldier]], the final [[Crazy Shoe]] appears. After [[Crazy Shoe|the shoe]] is beaten, the [[Throttle Copter]] is now able to be used to advance to a higher level. As [[Rayman]] progresses through the higher level with the [[LockJaw]], defeating a couple of [[Slapdash]]es along the way, he slides down back to the first area where he greets a [[Hoodstormer]]. Once defeated, the [[Throttle Copter]] comes, and [[Rayman]] can now rise up and reach the ledge that leads to the last room, and then the exit.&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 2 – Up the Tower!===&lt;br /&gt;
This stage is predominantly inside the tower. Just by walking a short distance, the final pair of [[Lavomatrix]]es appear. When they are defeated, the [[LockJaw]] can be found at the beginning of the stairs, and that&#039;s where [[Rayman]] can begin moving upwards. For a while, [[Hoodlum]] activity dies down, as [[Rayman]] uses the hooks from the [[LockJaw]] to progress higher and higher to the top stairs. Once [[Rayman]] reaches the top of the room, pairs of [[Hoodstormer]]s come out of nowhere and start shooting. [[Rayman]] is able to defeat them all, and recover the [[LockJaw]] after losing it to using the [[Throttle Copter]] to finish getting to the top. [[Rayman]] leaves the room and enters into a smaller one, that after a while, will start a slow but continuous lava flooding. [[Rayman]] is able to escape with the help of many [[Throttle Copter]]s. Now he needs to take advantage of the pile of [[balloon]]s to continue towards an upcoming final lava flood. [[Rayman]] will once more have to use the [[balloon]]s to escape the lava flood and when he does, the exit is straight ahead.&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 3 – [[Armaguiddon]] Battle===&lt;br /&gt;
[[Globox]] reappears with an [[Armaguiddon]] and the two friends are reunited. [[Rayman]] must navigate the [[Armaguiddon]] through several narrow passageways; contact with almost anything will cause damage. Occasionally the two will be attacked by other [[Armaguiddon]] pilots that look like [[Hoodmonger Soldier]]s. During this time [[Globox]] drives and [[Rayman]] uses the gun at the back of the vehicle to shoot down the aggressors in the style of a first-person shooter. When all of the pilots have been defeated, the two are able to find the entrance to a room that leads to where [[André]] and [[Reflux]] are. [[Rayman]] gets dropped off, and runs in hope of quickly encountering the two.&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 4 – The Top Reached, the Battle Started!===&lt;br /&gt;
[[Rayman]] first climbs a series of steps with no opposition. He can hear [[André]] and [[Reflux]] talking as he progresses. Near the end, there are several [[pigpot]]s. Eventually, he encounters [[Reflux]] again and the final battle begins. Firstly, [[Reflux]] raises his shield. [[Rayman]] must use the [[LockJaw]] to lower it and then the [[Heavy Metal Fist]] to deal damage to [[Reflux]]. Once this fairly easy round has been won, [[Reflux]] injects himself with [[the Leptys]], creating a more formidable boss. [[Rayman]] must circle giant [[Reflux]] waiting for him to throw his fist to the ground. When he does, [[Rayman]] can run up onto his back and attack [[the Leptys]] with the [[Heavy Metal Fist]] once again (attacking with the [[Telescopic fist|normal fist]] or the [[LockJaw]] will prove fruitless). Next, [[Reflux]] begins to levitate. [[Rayman]] must use the floating debris around him, with the help of several [[Throttle Copter]]s, to reach a [[Shock Rocket]] can. Once [[the Leptys]] is hit with the [[Shock Rocket]], [[Reflux]] develops wings and flies away. [[Globox]] returns with the [[Armaguiddon]] and [[Rayman]] hops aboard. The two give chase.&lt;br /&gt;

At the beginning of the level, if [[Rayman]] approaches the statue of the two [[Knaaren]] with 43,001 points or more, a door will open, granting him access to a [[Xowar secret|secret zoo]], filled with [[Jewel|green gems]] and [[Bonton|exotic]] [[Xowar|creatures]].&lt;br /&gt;

After [[Reflux]] has been defeated twice, [[Rayman]] can fall down the side of the arena to find the last [[Jewel|green gem]] in an alcove. ===Stage 5 - The Final Battle===&lt;br /&gt;
[[Rayman]] must use the [[Armaguiddon]]&#039;s weaponry to shoot down [[Reflux]]&#039;s shields. Once this has been done enough, [[Reflux]] will make a charge towards the [[Armaguiddon]], so [[Rayman]] will have to shoot the exposed [[The Leptys|Leptys]] to decrease [[Reflux]]&#039;s health. This causes him to land and [[André]] will begin to spawn [[Hoodmonger]]s from inside [[the Leptys]]. [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] must fly around and defeat the [[Hoodmonger]]s before they can return to [[Reflux]]. Any of them that achieve their goal replenish [[Reflux]]&#039;s health. Gameplay repeats like this until [[Reflux]]&#039;s health reaches 0 and turns into ice and shatters. Afterwards, [[André]] falls to the ground. [[Rayman]] must use his [[grimace]] ability to turn him into a [[Red Lum]], thus eliminating his threat.&lt;br /&gt;

[[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] are returned to [[the Fairy Council]] where all is well. However, [[Globox]] misses [[André]]. [[Rayman]] states that making [[André]] a [[Black Lum]] again is probably not a good idea and that he wouldn&#039;t know how to do it anyway. [[Globox]] reveals that he would have to scare the [[Red Lum]], and [[Rayman]] hates to imagine what could possibly do that. It is then revealed in a flashback that it was [[Rayman]]&#039;s hands wandering around performing tricks upon the [[Red Lum]] that caused [[André]] to be &amp;quot;born&amp;quot; in the first place - a humourous irony.&lt;br /&gt;

[[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] arrive through a pipe, and find themselves at the entrance to the headquarters. The [[hostess]] begins welcoming the duo, and [[Globox]] immediately falls in love with her voice. After fighting a [[Grim Keeper]], the duo proceed through a narrow passageway to get to the &#039;welcome desk&#039;, where the hostess is stationed. Unfortunately, a [[Spinneroo]] guards the entrance, and if [[Rayman]] tries to attack him, an out-of-reach [[Hoodoo]] will protect his companion from harm. [[Rayman]] finds another route, up a ladder, to get to the [[Hoodoo]], but the floor breaks and [[Rayman]] finds himself traveling down another pipe to the Warehouse, where the [[Hoodlum]]s test their weapons. Eventually, after defeating some of the [[Hoodlum]]s on the lower level and advancing upwards, [[Rayman]] must carry several rocks up slopes whilst avoiding [[plum juice]] grenades thrown by an enthusiastic [[Hoodboom]] to reach a [[switch]] that lowers the platform the [[Hoodoo]] was standing on. After defeating the [[Hoodoo]] and the [[Spinneroo]], [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] head into the next room, where a wooden cut-out of a bikini-clad female member of [[Globox&#039;s species]] has been set up. [[Globox]] runs over to hug the cut-out, but falls into a trap whilst doing so. [[André]] then starts talking over the intercom about how [[Rayman]] will be next to fall into a trap. [[Rayman]] must go up and defeat a [[Stumbleboom]] that contains a [[Heavy Metal Fist]] to break down a door to progress.&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 2 - The Firing Range===&lt;br /&gt;
[[Rayman]] arrives in a room full of [[Hoodlum]]s, and a claw machine carrying a screaming [[Globox]], who is upside-down. Once [[Rayman]] beats all the [[Hoodlum]]s, a pair of [[Hoodstormer]]s will come out of a machine. Once they&#039;re dead, a [[Heckler]] will appear. [[Rayman]] must defeat it to leave the room. As [[Globox]] is upside-down, all the blood is rushing to his head, and he becomes more intelligent as a result. [[Rayman]] must use the [[Shock Rocket]] to shoot a [[Hoodmonger]] that has raised some needed crates to continue on. After getting the crates down through a [[switch]], [[Rayman]] needs to defeat two [[Hoodoo]]s, one protecting a [[Hoodmonger Soldier]], and the other a [[Hoodmonger Officer]]. Once completed, [[Rayman]] jumps down another pipe and manages to lose sight of the now intelligent [[Globox]], ending up in the firing range, where, to open a door, [[Rayman]] must move a stone onto a pressure pad. When he carries it halfway through, a [[Hoodmonger]] will appear and blast its own head off. [[Rayman]] must then battle the three remaining [[Hoodmonger]]s in the firing range itself, filled with a variety of weapons. Once they&#039;re all defeated, the [[hostess]] locks the entrance and complains that [[André]] isn&#039;t pleased that [[Rayman]]&#039;s still alive, so until the [[Hoodlum]]s learn how to shoot, they will remain locked in the firing range. [[Rayman]] must destroy several targets of himself and [[Globox]] and avoid shooting the [[hostess]] targets to escape the firing range.&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 3 - The Foundry===&lt;br /&gt;
[[Rayman]] enters the foundry, where he must scale large contraptions to follow [[Globox]]. It starts with jumping from crate to crate and avoiding the hot lava. Once he reaches a ladder and defeats a [[Hoodboom]], [[Rayman]] will now jump from metal plate to metal plate that are moving on a conveyor belt. After reaching another ladder to progress upwards, doors open, and one at a time comes a [[Hoodmonger]], [[Hoodmonger Soldier]], and [[Hoodmonger Officer]] in that order. Upon defeating another [[Hoodmonger Officer]] guarding a [[switch]], once [[Rayman]] activates it more metal plates are moving, this time in a vertical way needed to continue. After dodging some obstacles and timing jumps, [[Rayman]] reaches the end. The door behind and in front of him close, as a [[Heckler]] whom is protected by a [[Hoodoo]] appears. When the [[Hoodoo]] is defeated, out comes a [[Heavy Metal Fist]] can, needed to destroy the [[Heckler]]. The door leading to the exit opens as the [[Heckler]] is destroyed.&lt;br /&gt;

[[Rayman]] arrives in a narrow area where several wooden planks are being transported through scalding pipes. Below lies many [[pigpot]]s, one contains a [[Jewel|green gem]]. [[Globox]] can be seen, and [[Rayman]] must follow him up until he gets trapped inside another room, full of [[Armaguiddon]]s. [[Rayman]] must go an alternate route, but runs into the [[Horrible Machine]], which he must fight by filling up its pressure gauge. Eventually, the [[Horrible Machine]] is defeated, and in a last-ditch attempt to stop [[Rayman]], [[André]] opens up floodgates holding back lava.&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;&#039;The Longest Shortcut&#039;&#039;&#039;, also known as &#039;&#039;&#039;the Temple of the [[Grand Minimus]]&#039;&#039;&#039;, is the sixth level of &#039;&#039;[[Rayman 3]]&#039;&#039;. Its strategic obstacles demonstrate what kind of a maze the [[Teensie]] beings have devised for passers. In this world, [[Rayman]] is faced with several challenging and confusing booby-traps, including invisible platforms, fake walls and illusional mirrors. Each requires deep investigation – a skill vital for such a world. The [[Teensie]]s have made this &amp;quot;shortcut&amp;quot; ever more challenging by locking each door until all the 85 [[crown]]s are collected. These [[crown]]s are distributed all around the area to make sure passers provide strong determination and effort before proceeding. No [[Hoodlum]]s can be found in this level, but in every stage there is a [[Matuvu]] and a [[Tribelle]].&lt;br /&gt;

At the beginning of the level, [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] meet up with [[Otto Psi|Otto]], [[Roméo Patti|Roméo]] and [[Gonzo]], who tell the duo that [[Reflux]] and [[André]] have already stolen [[Gumsi]]&#039;s [[The Sceptre of the Leptys|sceptre]], and offer to use the locked door behind them to catch up with them. [[Globox]] tries unsuccessfully to open the door with a series of chants (believing the door is &#039;magic&#039;) whilst [[Rayman]] has to take a portal to collect all fifteen [[crown]]s required to unlock the door. Almost immediately after leaving the portal, [[Rayman]] has to fight his [[Crazy Shoe]] to obtain a [[LockJaw]] to ascend the area and collect [[crown]]s. Once all have been collected, [[Rayman]] must step on the button in front of [[Globox]] to access the next area.&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 2 – Even Longer Shortcut!===&lt;br /&gt;
To the displeasure and complaint of how this &amp;quot;shortcut&amp;quot; isn&#039;t really one, [[Globox]] quickly takes up position in front of the door to again attempt to open it, so [[Rayman]] must go through a passage, leading to a series of challenges, with portals leading to each one:&lt;br /&gt;
*Similar to the challenge in the last stage, the floor is mirrored and [[Rayman]] must ascend to collect all thirty of the [[crown]]s, although this time he uses levitating platforms instead of a can of [[Laser-Washing Powder]].&lt;br /&gt;
*The sole levitating platform in this room is invisible. Luckily, [[Rayman]] can use the mirrored floor (where the platform is visible) to collect the [[crown]]s.&lt;br /&gt;
*This challenge is almost the same as the last one, only there are four invisible platforms that must be seen using a mirrored wall.&lt;br /&gt;
*This challenge is similar to the second one, only this time there are three invisible platforms (and an invisible hole in the wall leading to the exit) which, as before, must be seen with the mirrored floor.&lt;br /&gt;
Once all the [[crown]]s have been acquired, [[Rayman]] must step on the [[switch]] in front of [[Globox]] to gain entry to the next area.&lt;br /&gt;

Once more, [[Globox]] tries to open the door by chanting at it. [[Rayman]] must follow a path into a hall containing entrances into several challenges to obtain the necessary forty [[crown]]s. First of all, he must jump from one side of the huge room to the other before a gate closes. Then he must repeatedly hit [[switch]]es to raise himself up to access the rest of the hall, which contains three more challenges. One challenge involves jumping up platforms rapidly to access a small chamber full of [[crown]]s, another makes use of a machine that moves forward every time [[Rayman]] hits a [[switch]] with a curved [[Telescopic fist|punch]], and the last one involves jumping across platforms with no time limit. Once all [[crown]]s have been collected, [[Rayman]] must stand on the [[switch]] in front of [[Globox]] again, to gain entry to the very last part of the level - a beach, where the three [[Teensie doctor|doctors]] offer the heroes a boat to [[The Summit Beyond the Clouds|catch up with Reflux and André.]]&lt;br /&gt;

[[Rayman]] can then lower the nearby [[meadowscrew]] impeding his progress. [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] go along a bridge, only to find a wooden door with the face of a [[Hoodlum]] carved onto it, in their way. As [[Rayman]] wonders how to get it open, a couple of [[Hoodmonger]]s come out from nowhere and ambush [[Rayman]]. [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] land in a small area surrounded by [[mushroom]]s. Several [[Hoodlum]]s arrive by [[Hoodlum Zeppelin|Zeppelin]]s, one drinking heavily from a [[keg]] of [[plum juice]]. [[Rayman]] must destroy them to gain a [[Vortex]] can of [[Laser-Washing Powder]]; with it he must lower a [[meadowscrew]] to gain access to the higher levels of the forest, where there are a couple more remaining [[Hoodmonger]]s. After defeating one of them that has the dollar ($) sign, a [[Heavy Metal Fist]] appears, which [[Rayman]] uses to smash through a barricade to get to a waterfall-filled area. Meanwhile, [[Globox]] drinks down the [[plum juice]], inflates as a side effect, and floats away. [[Rayman]] has to advance and as he [[helicopter]]s a good distance, he then smashes a [[cage]] containing a [[Sylkin]] that gives him his first can of the [[LockJaw]]. With it, he makes it safely to the other end of the creek, where he finds [[Globox]], still intoxicated, standing in front of a [[Hoodlum]] camp. [[Rayman]] must fight off the many [[Hoodmonger]]s and a [[Slapdash]] that guard the area before smashing down a wooden barricade. [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] walk along hallways filled with crates of [[plum juice]] bottles. In the center of a circular room lies the first [[Hoodmonger Soldier]]. Defeating him rewards [[Rayman]] with his first ever [[Shock Rocket]] can of [[Laser-Washing Powder]]. This power makes his [[Telescopic fist|fist]] as a rocket. Even with [[Globox]]&#039;s displeasure of the use of the costumes, [[Rayman]] uses the [[Shock Rocket]] to maneuver through three obstacle courses to hit three targets of himself and [[Globox]] to open three doors. Moving through the hallways, [[Rayman]] encounters a [[Hoodboom]], but has no time to defeat him as he quickly runs through a gate which closes sharply. [[Rayman]] is trapped unless he uses a [[Vortex]] and [[LockJaw]] (dropped by two [[Hoodmonger]]s) to lower a [[meadowscrew]] and swing on a [[flying hook]]. Once he&#039;s across, he&#039;ll need to activate a [[switch]] that opens the gate so [[Globox]] can get through. A band of [[Hoodlum]]s is inside, naturally, and [[Rayman]] will have to defeat them all for the aforementioned [[Hoodboom]] to appear. Along the way, [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] fall into the tunnels, and [[Globox]] is captured by the [[Knaaren]]. The huge dinosaur-like skeletons which lie on the sand resemble those seen in [[the Cave of Bad Dreams]] in &#039;&#039;[[Rayman 2]]&#039;&#039;. The desert looks hellish at first sight. However, beneath the barren, lifeless surface is a vast tunnel and cave system that delves deep into the rocky under-layers.&lt;br /&gt;

[[Globox]] consumes a barrel of [[plum juice]] which gives him flight, whilst [[Rayman]] must use the [[Throttle Copter]] to work his own way out of the canyon. Eventually he frees two [[Teensie]]s who tell him about the [[Knaaren]] Tunnels which [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] must use to cross the desert. The duo enter the tunnels, but [[Globox]] is quickly captured by the [[Knaaren]] and [[Rayman]] is forced to run. Finding himself in a room full of [[Knaaren]], he must use a [[Shock Rocket]] to sound a [[gong]] which distracts the [[Knaaren]] whilst he makes his escape. As [[Rayman]] gets past the first stage of [[Knaaren]]s, he enters a room where he needs to get to the top. At the top, he sees [[Globox]] being carried away by a [[Knaaren]] and must find a way to follow them. His first task is to get one of the [[Knaaren]]s that are nearby to chase him onto a large [[switch]] which will cause some floating platforms to align, making a path up to the top of the large [[the Leptys]] statue. If [[Rayman]] takes a detour whilst jumping these platforms, he can free a few [[Teensie]]s who will give him a [[Vortex]] to lower a [[meadowscrew]] on the ground and reach a secret area that contains a [[Jewel|green gem]]. Once this is done, [[Rayman]] must work his way up to top of the statue, using floating platforms and [[LockJaw]]s, where he releases some [[Teensie]]s who will hand over a [[Throttle Copter]] with which he can use to get to the top, and leave the second stage.&lt;br /&gt;

The corridor ahead is blocked by several [[Knaaren]]s so [[Rayman]] must climb between two walls and stay on the top, before [[helicopter]]ing down past some green acid to continue out of that room. [[Rayman]] will now need to distract a [[Knaaren]] by using the [[Shock Rocket]] to hit a [[gong]]. It will create a loud sound, making the [[Knaaren]] run to it, to which [[Rayman]] will be able to get the [[LockJaw]] to advance through the following area. The next small area is straight ahead, but there are two [[Teensie]] [[cage]]s, rescuing one will give him a pile of [[Jewel|yellow gems]], and the other a [[Jewel|green gem]]. After passing, [[Rayman]] will be required to perform the [[gong]] trick several times as he makes his way through a maze of tunnels and ledges, before climbing a large structure at the top of which lies the path onward.&lt;br /&gt;

[[Rayman]] continues to what seems like a quiet room, but as he advances to a large ledge, several groups of [[Knaaren]] come walking closer and closer to attack him. The only way out is to throw himself into the darkness below. He finds himself deep in the tunnels with some spirits, and must pass them and carry various rocks to different [[switch]]es scattered throughout the level in order to proceed. However, only certain paths will take his weight, and he must be careful not to lose the stone he is carrying. In amongst all this he will be required to perform more daring jumps. Eventually, another [[Knaaren]] group will corner him, and the only way he can escape is by destroying the ground below him and taking yet another tumble. To earn his and [[Globox]]&#039;s freedom, [[Rayman]] must fight and defeat [[Reflux]]. If he cannot, his corpse shall be burnt. [[Reflux]] begins with a spin attack, but will eventually tire, allowing [[Rayman]] to get some hits in on him whilst he recovers. [[Rayman]] can drop down to the side of the raised platform and grab some [[Heavy Metal Fist]]s in order to increase fire power, but flames from the lava pit below will attack him constantly whilst he does this so he must be careful. Occasionally, [[Reflux]] will call meteors down from the ceiling. Even if [[Rayman]] avoids them, small fires will remain where they fall for the rest of the battle, making it even harder to retain stamina. Eventually, however, [[Rayman]] will come through and beat [[Reflux]]. [[Gumsi]] reacts angrily to this and begins to beat [[Globox]], but [[André]] will scare the child king by yelling from [[Globox]]&#039;s stomach and [[Gumsi]] will admit defeat.&lt;br /&gt;

The idyllic but bleak landscape is reminiscent of a Celtic ruin, and the rocky hills are filled with ancient stone monoliths, small passages and sunken structures. The climate appears to be very mild and cloudy, though it rains in the later sections. This land is beside either a sea or ocean. The stone walls are covered with engravings made by the [[Griskin]] [[Teensie]]s a long time ago, before they were turned to ghosts by the [[Great Spirit Palmito]].&lt;br /&gt;

As they make their way out of the transportation, [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] enter to what seems like a calm and peaceful place. As [[Globox]] gets distracted from a group of [[bird]]s, [[Rayman]] frees the first [[Griskin]], who gives him the [[Vortex]]. This is required to destroy some spiky enemies that would stop [[Globox]] from following him. As they continue, [[Rayman]] needs to use a [[Shock Rocket]] can of [[Laser-Washing Powder]] to save a couple of [[Griskin]]s, one will give the [[Throttle Copter]], which is needed to reach the [[plum]] that needs to be placed on a post. After completion, an ambush of [[Hoodlum]]s attempt to attack [[Rayman]]. As he destroys them, and enters a tunnel, [[Globox]] drinks a [[plum juice]] barrel, needed to advance to where [[Rayman]] goes face-to-face with his first ever [[Hoodstormer]]. Destroying it gives the [[Vortex]], then [[Rayman]] has to destroy more [[Hoodmonger]]s and save another [[Griskin]] who drops a [[Crazy Shoe]]. Bumping the shoe enough times will give the [[Heavy Metal Fist]], using it will give [[Rayman]] the chance to destroy the barricade that is blocking the exit.&lt;br /&gt;

Immediately as [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] drop down to the next stage, there is a [[Hoodmonger Soldier]], which scares Globox and makes the [[Hoodmonger Soldier|Soldier]] run to a [[Hoodlum]] fortress, containing an abundance of other [[Hoodmonger Soldier]]s and [[Hoodstormer]]s. Once they have been defeated, [[Rayman]] can advance to the higher level with use of the [[LockJaw]] and [[Vortex]], the latter being given from a [[Griskin]]. As the duo swim and climb to the higher level, there is a [[Hoodboom]], but before [[Rayman]] can get to shooting range, he jumps onto a [[Hoodlum Airship|Zeppelin]], and gets away. [[Rayman]] destroys the two [[Hoodmonger]]s blocking the pathway leading up to where he comes across the first [[Grim Keeper]]. [[Rayman]] is able to finish him off by shooting lateral shots where his shield isn&#039;t blocking himself. [[Globox]] helps [[Rayman]] get to the next area by bursting out a [[bubble]] from drinking another [[plum juice]] barrel. This outside area are contains the first [[Hoodoo]], that protects two [[Hoodmonger]]s. [[Rayman]] must shoot one of the [[Hoodmonger]]s to where the [[Hoodoo]] is vulnerable to attack. Once that is finished, a swarm of [[Hoodmonger Soldier]]s appear, but [[Rayman]] is able to destroy them, one gives the [[Shock Rocket]]. Upon grabbing it, the [[Hoodboom]] that was (and still is) on the [[Hoodlum Airship|Zeppelin]] reappears. [[Rayman]] shoots him with the rocket. Finally, [[Rayman]] destroys a [[Hoodmonger]] that has the [[Throttle Copter]], and flies upwards to exit the level.&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 3 – The Tower of the Light===&lt;br /&gt;
[[Rayman]] is confronted by a gate that a [[Hoodmonger]] closes with a [[switch]]. [[Rayman]] will need to find a way to reverse the [[switch]]. With [[Globox]], he enters into a tunnel that leads to a ghastly tower. After destroying a [[Hoodstormer]], the two enter the tower. [[Rayman]] activates a hand [[switch]] that makes some pillars rise. [[Rayman]] jumps to the lowest level of stairs from the help of the sinking pillars. When he gets to the top, he saves a [[Griskin]] that will meet [[Rayman]] downstairs. As [[Rayman]] and the [[Griskin]] meet back at the bottom, he gives a [[Vortex]], stating that one of his brothers have been kidnapped. If freed, they will open up their world to [[Rayman]]. [[Rayman]] leaves the tower area with the [[Vortex]] and drops down to use it on three [[meadowscrew]]s in order to place a [[plum]] on a post. A [[Hoodstormer]] attempts to stand in the way, but he gets defeated, and [[Rayman]] places the [[plum]] on the post, and frees the brother. He flies to the large stone entrance at the tower, and uses his power to allow [[Rayman]] to enter the portal. Meanwhile, [[Globox]] gets intoxicated from [[plum juice]] and bursts out many [[bubble]]s to help [[Rayman]] get back up to enter the portal. &lt;br /&gt;

Upon entering and defeating [[Hoodmonger]]s and a [[Hoodmonger Officer]], [[Rayman]] retrieves the [[Heavy Metal Fist]] to advance. As [[Rayman]] continues closer to the captured [[Griskin]]s, he defeats a [[Hoodoo]] and a couple of [[Hoodmonger]]s. After using the [[Shock Rocket]] and [[Throttle Copter]] to get to the top of the room, a [[Hoodboom]] blocks the wooden door. [[Rayman]] defeats the [[Hoodoo]] and the [[Hoodboom]] and uses the [[Heavy Metal Fist]] to free the [[Griskin]]s from [[Great Spirit Palmito|Palmito]]&#039;s spell, to get the gate to open. But before [[Rayman]] can get back to the starting point, he will have to find and defeat the [[Crazy Shoe]]. Once done, [[Rayman]] leaves the tower and returns to the starting area. In spite of its name, the Fairy Council contains few [[Fairy|fairies]]; neither [[Betilla]] the Fairy nor [[Ly]] the Fairy appear. The only [[Fairy|fairies]] which are seen in the Fairy Council are a handful of [[Ludiv]]s and a number of minuscule, [[firefly]]-like [[Fairy|fairies]] that do not appear elsewhere in [[Rayman (series)|the series]]. The Fairy Council is more importantly the resting place of [[the Heart of the World]], the mystical conglomeration of energy which contains all 1,000 existing [[Yellow Lum]]s and is the source of all power – including that of the god [[Polokus]]. The chamber in which [[the Heart of the World]] is contained is also the throne room of the [[Grand Minimus]], the four amnesiatic kings of the [[Teensie]]s. They use it as a strobe light to complement their disco dancing.&lt;br /&gt;

Surrounded by a tranquil forest, the ominous Fairy Council is mysterious and majestic.  The interior glows with a blue aura and various halls have reflective walls or floors. [[Ludiv]]s reside within the council walls in a similar fashion to ants. Deep within the Fairy Council lies the [[Grand Minimus]]&#039; throne room and [[the Heart of the World]].&lt;br /&gt;

As alluded to in the manual of &#039;&#039;[[Rayman 2]]&#039;&#039;, the Fairy Council acts a sort of central meeting place when trouble strikes [[the Glade of Dreams]].&lt;br /&gt;

The Fairy Council is the only level in &#039;&#039;[[Rayman 3]]&#039;&#039; in which [[Murfy]] appears. At one point in the level, he laments that he is still stuck playing a sidekick, even after his role in &#039;&#039;[[Rayman 2]]&#039;&#039;. At the end of the level, he departs, saying ‘See you in &#039;&#039;[[Rayman 4 (cancelled prototype)|Rayman 4]]&#039;&#039;!’ – a game which never came to fruition.&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 1 – The first [[Hoodlum]] ambush===&lt;br /&gt;
Straight after the introduction cinematic, the game begins. [[Murfy]] picks up [[Rayman]], whose hands have gone missing, by his hair and airlifts him over the grounds near the Council, which has just been invaded by [[Hoodlum]]s. The player mainly controls the handless [[Rayman]], who steers [[Murfy]] by leaning his weight left and right. He must maneuver to collect enough of the [[Red Lum]]s that are scattered throughout the area. If [[Rayman]] has not collected enough of them to restore his health to a satisfactory level, [[Murfy]] takes him back to the beginning again. There are two rounds of [[Red Lum]]s to gather. Once enough have been accumulated, the pair make their way to safety.&lt;br /&gt;

As this is an introductory level in which Combo mode is yet to be introduced, there is no score to gain (the total level score for this stage will count as 100%, or 5 stars).&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 2 – Finding [[Globox]] ===&lt;br /&gt;
[[Rayman]] and [[Murfy]] end up in a quieter place around the Fairy Council, where there are no [[Hoodlum]]s in sight, and scattered [[Jewel|gems]], most of which are yellow. At this point, [[Murfy]] withdraws the [[Manual]] and tells [[Rayman]] that his missing hands are in possession of [[Globox]], who is hiding somewhere. He then introduces the player to [[Rayman 3 scoring system|the game&#039;s score system]], in which points are added to the score for certain actions. [[Rayman]] then begins his search for [[Globox]], while breaking [[Garden Raygnome]]s by kicking with his feet and collecting [[Jewel|gems]] and [[Red Lum]]s (if he needs them). Some of the [[Jewel|gems]] form a trail.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Eventually, [[Rayman]] and [[Murfy]] are outside of the Fairy Council itself, where they find a shivering barrel and a foot [[switch]]. It turns out that [[Globox]] is hiding in the barrel, and [[Rayman]] has to follow him. The foot [[switch]] causes what appears to be a stone block to appear, which blocks [[Globox]]&#039;s path, allowing [[Rayman]] to kick him free. Now that the friends have reunited, [[Rayman]]&#039;s hands reattach to his body, and he can now use his fist to attack. Near the entrance, he&#039;ll encounter a single [[Hermit Crab]] hidden in the ground.  &lt;br /&gt;

At the door of the Council, there is a hand [[switch]] which turns on a light that attracts [[Globox]]&#039;s attention briefly. He turns around and notices a gang of [[Hoodlum]]s - a [[Hoodmonger]] and two [[Slapdash]]es - coming down in an air boat. [[Globox]] becomes scared of the approaching [[Hoodlum]]s and runs straight through the door into the Council, breaking it to allow him to be followed by the [[Hoodlum]]s, and then [[Rayman]] and [[Murfy]].&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 3 – Inside the Council===&lt;br /&gt;
At this point, [[Rayman]] and [[Murfy]] arrive inside the Fairy Council itself, starting with a small chamber in which at the center is an elevator with a hand [[switch]]. In the Polish and Russian versions of the game, an additional [[Slapdash]] can be found here. [[Rayman]] has to [[Telescopic fist|punch]] this repeatedly to lift him upwards to the next level, in which there is a path going in an upwards spiral followed by several ledges. He first encounters [[pigpot]]s in here, and these need to be broken in order for the door at the top of this chamber to open. This leads him into a larger chamber in which there is an elevator with a sheet of stained glass in a form of a hand [[switch]]. [[Rayman]] has to perform lateral shots at this switch to lift him up to the next level.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When he reaches the top, he encounters a [[Hoodmonger]] which displays a dollar ($) sign atop its head. The glass bridge between them lifts itself upwards, blocking him from direct contact, and [[Rayman]] will have to shoot laterally again to inflict damage to the [[Hoodmonger]]. Upon its defeat, [[André]] emerges and tells [[Rayman]] that he will deal with him later, and then flies away, leaving a small, mysterious green can on the floor. [[Murfy]] examines it, and discovers that it contains [[Laser-Washing Powder]] that transforms the user&#039;s clothes into combat fatigues. [[Rayman]] decides to use it against [[Murfy]]&#039;s warnings that it could be dangerous, thus introducing him to the [[Vortex]] power, the first of five different powers delivered by these [[Laser-Washing Powder|cans]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
With the glass bridge being lowered, [[Rayman]] encounters three [[meadowscrew]]s which can be screwed into the floor when he [[Telescopic fist|punches]] them under the influence of the [[Vortex]]. Once they are down, [[Rayman]] can climb up them and kill a [[Slapdash]] before finally walking down a corridor thus ending this stage.&lt;br /&gt;

===Stage 4 – The Council falls apart===&lt;br /&gt;
[[Rayman]] and [[Murfy]] arrive in a large chamber. At the left side, there is a wooden target with a crude painting of [[Globox]], at which a [[Hoodmonger]] carrying a [[Vortex]] hides behind. He uses this to strike at some stone ledges with similar properties to the [[meadowscrew]]s, ending with a bouncy platform that lifts him onto a ceiling of vines that he has to climb onto. This leads him into a small chamber with a wall of vines to climb up, and the first [[Tribelle]] found in the game. After climbing up the vines, [[Rayman]] is now in a corridor with a slippery slope. The only way to cross this is to bounce on the floating platforms there. At the top of the slope there is another wall of vines, leading him to another chamber in which the [[Fairy|fairies]] are found.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
[[André]] hides in one of six areas in which the [[Fairy|fairies]] nest. A [[Slapdash]] carrying a [[Vortex]] and a group of [[podocrock]]s are encountered here. [[Rayman]] will have to keep checking the nests until [[André]] is found. [[André]] escapes through the doors that lead to [[the Heart of the World]], which are then opened by one of the [[Fairy|fairies]]. [[Rayman]] then goes through, climbing in between two walls (akin to &#039;&#039;[[Rayman 2]]&#039;&#039;), and then into a chamber with a staircase that is falling apart.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This leads to another large chamber. Two [[Ninja Crab]]s are encountered here, one of which is crushed by a stone, though it is possible to shoot it to defeat it in time. A [[Vortex]] can is also found here, which [[Rayman]] uses as appropriate to progress to a ceiling of vines which is also falling apart. At the end of this, [[Globox]] appears, only for [[André]] to head straight for him and get swallowed, causing [[Globox]] to run straight to [[the Heart of the World]].&lt;br /&gt;

[[Rayman]] and [[Murfy]] finally arrive at [[the Heart of the World]]. Upon entry, the [[Grand Minimus]] finds out that [[André]] is still alive and wreaking havoc within [[Globox]]&#039;s stomach. Uncertain on how dangerous it would be to keep [[Globox]] in this chamber with [[André]] inside him, one of the [[Grand Minimus]] then instructs [[Rayman]] to take [[Globox]] to see the first of the three [[Teensie doctor]]s, [[Otto Psi]], whose office is in [[Clearleaf Forest]]. He tosses [[Globox]] into a portal, and [[Rayman]] himself follows after [[Murfy]] warns him of the dangers the [[Black Lum]] could impose on [[Globox]] (especially forcing him to drink [[plum juice]], which he is allergic to), and finally bids him goodbye.&lt;br /&gt;

A secret room can be found in this area, which is accessible if [[Rayman]] was to climb on a ledge on one of the pillars, and then run across the ledge higher up in the room. A secret door opens, and [[Rayman]] then slides down a spiral band of neon lights trailed with [[Jewel|gems]], ending with a [[Jewel|green gem]]. He is then returned to [[the Heart of the World]], ready to walk into the portal to the first [[Teensie Highway]].&lt;br /&gt;
