Dragons are major enemies in Teensies In Trouble, the first world of Rayman Legends. They are the companions of Lividstones, and a large one named Grunderbite is the boss of this world.

They play a similar role to the dragons from Olympus Maximus.

Appearance
Dragons have yellow eyes, and sport four small limbs. They have short, stubby tails with three spikes on the end, and small, wobbly wings. They also wear spiked collars on their necks. They are inspired by the dragons of European mythology.

In Rayman Legends
In Rayman Legends, dragons are first seen in Once upon a Time’s opening sequence. Here, they are seen raiding the forest alongside the Lividstones and carrying cages with Teensies inside them.

The heroes first encounter them in How to Shoot your Dragon. One can be seen in the background of the first section, possibly foreshadowing their appearance. Later on, after being called on by a Dark Teensy, multiple dragons, breathing fire at the heroes. They can be defeated with a single Flying Punch or, in the Wii U, PlayStation Vita, and Switch versions, with one of the flaming rocks fired by Murfy’s slingshot. Another one appears in the level’s invaded counterpart, albeit in the background. A large, purple dragon appears in Castle Rock and its 8-bit counterpart, once again breathing fire at the heroes. This one cannot be defeated, despite multiple dragons being present among a pile of defeated enemies at the end of the level.
The sidekick can purchased at 80 Mammoth Coins to be useable in online matchmaking.
Lum Kings, sometimes called Prince Lums, are big Lums wearing crowns that appear in Rayman Origins and Rayman Adventures.

In Rayman Origins
In Rayman Origins, they can be seen flying and sleeping like normal Lums, but unlike them, Lum Kings are usually seen moving their arms rhythmically. When awakened, Lum Kings add 5 regular Lums to the score of the player who took them. They also play a dance, in which all of the Lums in the area start dancing and singing, and turn red for a short period. These red Lums award the player double to what they normally do. When the song ends, the Lums turn yellow again, and go back to their sleep. The song will always end if the player goes through a Darkblocker. This song, albeit slightly modified to remove the vocals and add a new ending verse, also plays on the game’s main menu, in Electoon bridge levels, and after freeing the Bubble Dreamer in the beginning of the game. Sometimes, Lum Kings are caught in bubbles, which are hidden in small areas that the player must find in order to turn all of the Lums red. Lum Kings are usually found next to big groups of regular Lums that sometimes also have to be found in hidden bubbles. It is unknown if Lum Kings really rule over the regular Lums and have their kingdoms, as there is a big amount of Lum Kings in the Glade of Dreams, much like the Grand Minimus.
While Lum Kings are not found in Rayman Legends, they exist in the game files and give 5 Lums each. The song that plays when collecting one also plays at the end of A Cloud of Darkness!, the final non-music level in the game, as well as the Creatures gallery.

In Rayman Adventures
In Rayman Adventures, they appear and behave similarly to Rayman Origins, although they are now purple and turn all other Lums purple rather than red.

Brawlhalla is a free-to-play fighting game developed and published by Blue Mammoth Games, which would later be acquired by Ubisoft, and released in 2017. Rayman appears as a playable character in the game, while Globox, Barbara, and other characters from the Rayman series appear as skins or items.

Gameplay
The goal of most of Brawlhallas game modes is to launch opponents into any of the four blastzones, or off-screen areas, similarly to Super Smash Bros. games. The more damage a character takes, the easier it is for them to be launched. If a character is sent into a blastzone, they lose a stock and are respawned back onto the stage. Winning criteria varies depending on the game mode, though typically the last player standing wins.

Rayman content
In November 2018, Rayman was added to Brawlhalla with patch 3.32. The character came with three skins to play as: Raymesis, Sir Rayelot, and Raydvar, a newly introduced member of Rayman's species who resembles Bödvar, another playable character from the game. Globox and Barbara were also introduced as skins for the characters Cassidy and Brynn, respectively. In addition to this, a Knockout Effect featuring Grunderbite, a Lum King sidekick, a Spellbound Tree podium, a new taunt featuring the Photographer, and a new Kung Foot mode were added. According to the lore in the character selection screen, Rayman was sent out by Polokus to find the Horn of Lums needed to defeat Mr Dark who had returned. He then found the Grand Tournament of Valhalla which has the Horn of Lums as one the prizes, making him enter the competition without hesitation. It is unknown if Rayman ever retrieved the Horn of Lums.

In October 2021, a new skin for Rayman called Ray of the Dead was made available for purchase during the "Brawlhalloween" event.

In April 2022, it was revealed that patch 6.06 would include content like new emoji skins (a Rayman Wave emoji skin can be seen) and a B-ballin' Emote, in which characters play with a basket ball; in Rayman's case, he plays with his torso in a similar fashion to some of his idle animations in the first and second Rayman games. In May 2022, to celebrate Street Fighters 35th anniversary and the inclusion of new characters to the game, a trailer was presented which featured Rayman and Globox.

In March 2025, Brawlhalla released the Azoth's Ascension Battle Pass, featuring taunts where 2 of them include unique variations when using with Rayman, Globox and Barbara. These taunts are called "Pok-ta-pok", where Rayman plays with his torso (similar to his variant on B-ballin' taunt) instead of a ōllamaloni, and "Relic of the Lost Temple" in which Rayman, Globox and Barbara replaces the treasure with a Plum Fruit.

In September 2025, to celebrate Rayman's 30th anniversary, Brawlhalla announced Super Metal Rayman along with the infamous Forest Dragon sidekick, Murphy animal companion, 3 new emojis of Rayman, Globox and Barbara, an avatar featuring "Classic Rayman", a title reward "YEAH!!!", a new realm, "Enchanted Forest" for the Kung Foot gamemode and Free-For-All, and a new UI Menu Theme.
Super Metal Rayman is a playable character in the fighting game Brawlhalla. He is set to be introduced as an Epic Skin for Rayman on September 3 2025. The Epic Skin costs 300 Mammoth Coins, containing animated sprites, new unique signature effects from his default skin, new lock-in animation, name and roster icon swaps, and a authentic voice announcement. The skin comes with two weapon skins - "Heavy Metal Fists" Gauntlets and "Castle Rocker" Axe.

The skin resembles a lot of Rayman's Heavy Metal Fist from Rayman 3. Only difference being his hair being animated and glowing and the name "Super Metal Rayman".

Description
Super Metal Rayman is a limbless member of Rayman's species with light blue glowy hair and eyes of the same color. He was released for his own event - "Epic Rayman Event" as a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Rayman franchise.

In September 2025, to celebrate Rayman's 30th anniversary, Brawlhalla announced Super Metal Rayman along with the infamous dragon sidekick, Murphy animal companion, 3 new emojis of Rayman, Globox and Barbara, an avatar featuring "Classic Rayman", a title reward "YEAH!!!", a new realm, "Enchanted Forest" for the Kung Foot gamemode and Free-For-All, and a new UI Menu Theme.

The Heavy Metal Fist is a temporary power used on several occasions by Rayman in Rayman 3 and Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge. It serves as a power-up to Rayman's telescopic fist by increasing its damage potential, akin to the Golden Fists in the original Rayman game and Power Fists in Rayman 2.

In Rayman 3
In Rayman 3, the Heavy Metal Fist is provided by red Laser-Washing Powder cans and doubles the strength of Rayman's fist. It lasts 12.5 seconds, making it the third longest lasting of the Laser-Washing Powder power-ups.

The Heavy Metal Fist is first encountered in the first level of Clearleaf Forest. Convenient for its offensive capabilities, allowing for quicker dispatching of enemies. It is also notable as a key weakness of the Heckler, who can only be rendered vulnerable by being hit by a fully charged Heavy Metal Fist. Also, a fully charged Heavy Metal Fist can instantaneously defeat Spinneroos, causing them to collapse in a manner not too dissimilar to defeated Robo-Pirates in Rayman 2. It also features during both fights with Reflux, acting as a far more potent and effective offensive attack in comparison to Rayman's own telescopic fist.

Outside of combat, the Heavy Metal Fist is primarily used to demolish doors blocking Rayman's progress, and its extra power means it can smash pigpots without the need to charge, a useful trait for scorers. It also is useful in destroying large snowballs that would otherwise squash Rayman in the second part of the Summit Beyond the Clouds, that Rayman cannot destroy using his normal fist.

Two advertisements for Rayman 3, certain versions of the game's box art, and promotional material for the game depict Rayman using the Heavy Metal Fist without changing his clothes.

This power-up is also present in Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge, in which it is provided by yellow cans and changes Rayman's colour scheme to a purple tone. It is notably used to destroy the Infernal Machine. It can also be used to destroy gates that block the player from advancing.

A variant of the Heavy Metal Fist named Super Metal Rayman appears in Brawlhalla as an Epic Skin for Rayman. His gauntlets, however, are called "Heavy Metal Fists", along with his axe named "Castle Rocker". The Epic Skin was released in September 8th for its own event - "Epic Rayman Event" as a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the franchise.

Notes
*In the concept art shown above, the description notes it is for the Shock Rocket power-up. Given visual evidence to the contrary, this wiki has opted to take this discrepancy as an error on the part of the publisher of its source.

Trivia
*During the third part of Clearleaf Forest, there is a Heavy Metal Fist which, when picked up, will show the animation of Rayman receiving the power which usually only plays the first time the player comes across the power-up. However, by this point, Rayman will have used the Heavy Metal Fist several times. This can also occur in the second part of the Tower of the Leptys.
