'''The Summit Beyond the Clouds''', also known as '''the Summit of Fury''', is a snow-based level in ''[[Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc]]'', and the last in which the player uses the [[Funkyboard]]. [[Globox]] is frozen into an ice cube here and the player must use the Funkyboard to race him down the Summit and get to the [[Hoodlum Headquarters]]. The ski slope level with the Funkyboard looks similar to the Ski Slope level in ''[[Tonic Trouble]]''.

==Known glitches==
In the first phase of this level (on the ship in the Looming Sea), it is possible to get an invincible, ever-lasting yellow copter. After all of the hoodlums are defeated, if you stand by the yellow can and keep flying into it without touching the floor, you will find that the meter doesn't deplete. From here, you can hover into a black space with an ominous green square.

'''The Leptys''', or '''Night God Leptys''', is a bird-like god whose known titles include ‘Bringer of Night’ and ‘Father of [[Knaaren|the Knaaren People]]’. The Leptys is worshipped by the [[Knaaren]].However, it is not known if the Knaaren were created by the Leptys since they were probably created by the omnipotent Polokus but worship the Leptys anyway. [[Gumsi]], the child king of the [[Knaaren]], holds the [[Sceptre of the Leptys]], an extremely powerful artifact which, when invoked, will grant the holder all of the Leptys's powers.

When [[Rayman]] defeats [[Gumsi]]'s champion [[Knaaren]] warrior, [[Reflux]], in the arena, Gumsi rewards Rayman by invoking the Leptys and giving Rayman a fraction of its power: the power to turn [[Black Lum]]s back into [[Red Lum]]s with a [[Grimace]].

[[Andre]], the leader of the [[Hoodlums]], persuaded [[Reflux]] to steal the Sceptre of the Leptys from [[Gumsi]], so that Reflux would be able to use the Leptys's power to destroy [[Rayman]], and so that [[Andre]] would be able to use the Leptys's power to reproduce.

The Leptys itself never truly appears, but a huge statue of it it seen in [[the Desert of the Knaaren]]. The statue resembles an eagle-like [[bird]]. After [[Reflux]] invokes the Leptys and becomes the final boss of ''[[Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc]]'', he takes on a somewhat bird-like appearance, even growing wings.
It seems that merely possessing the Sceptre is not enough to access all of the Leptys's powers; [[Reflux]] embeds the Sceptre into the flesh of his own back in order to grow gigantic.

The Leptys is worshipped by the [[Knaaren]] in [[the Tower of the Leptys]], which they seemingly built as a temple to him. When the Leptys is invoked at the top of the tower, a bizarre cloud formation appears in the sky over it. [[Rayman]] and [[Globox]] chase [[Reflux]] into this, and find themselves in an alien landscape, surrounded by strange clouds and eyes on stalks.
It is implied that this area explodes once Leptys-Reflux is defeated.

'''The Heart of the World''' (also known as '''the Primordial Core''') is a mystical object mentioned in ''[[Rayman 2: The Great Escape]]'', though it is not shown until ''[[Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc]]''. Comprising one thousand [[Yellow Lum]]s, the Heart is a glowing conglomeration of light whose energy sustains the harmony and balance of [[the Glade of Dreams]].

At the beginning of ''[[Rayman 2: The Great Escape|Rayman 2]]'', the Heart of the World is destroyed by the [[Robo-Pirate]]s and their leader, [[Admiral Razorbeard]]. The 1000 [[Yellow Lum]]s which formed the Heart (only 800 in the PlayStation version) are scattered about [[the Glade of Dreams]]. This cataclysmic event destroys the natural order, plunging the world into chaos and robbing [[Rayman]] and [[Ly the Fairy|Ly]] of their powers. The shattering of the Heart has serious negative repercussions for the Glade; dangerous creatures such as [[caterpillar]]s, [[spider]]s, [[piranha]]s and [[Zombie Chicken]]s begin to appear and multiply. [[Foutch]], the Guardian of the second [[Four Masks of Polokus|Mask of Polokus]], is driven insane. Over the course of the game, Rayman must gather the 1000 Yellow Lums, ultimately reconstructing the Heart and restoring the world's balance.

At the beginning of ''[[Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc|Rayman 3]]'', [[André]], the villainous leader of the [[Black Lum]]s, infiltrates [[the Fairy Council]]. He wishes to reach the Heart of the World and convert its energy into an army of [[Hoodlum]]s with which he can take over [[the Glade of Dreams]]. This is strange however and does not link to Rayman 2's Heart of the World. In Rayman 2, the Heart is divised of 1000 '''yellow''' lums but Andre can only transform red lums into hoodlums, hinting that Rayman 3's world is not the same place previously mentioned in its prequel. [[Globox]] puts a stop to André's plans by inadvertently swallowing him, thus putting the Heart out of immediate danger; for the remainder of the game, André pursues another power source, [[the Sceptre of the Leptys]].

In [[Rayman 1|the original ''Rayman'' game]], a mystical orb named [[the Great Protoon]] appears. Like the Heart of the World, it maintains the harmony and balance of the world. When it is stolen by the villainous [[Mr Dark]], the world is plunged into chaos, and unpleasant creatures begin to appear and multiply. After this game, the Great Protoon is never mentioned, and its position in the story is subsequently filled by the Heart of the World. Since the Heart largely has the same function as the Protoon (and even resembles it in ''[[Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc|Rayman 3]]''), it has been speculated that they are in fact the same object.

In ''[[Rayman 2: The Great Escape|Rayman 2]]'', [[Rayman]] can unlock a number of cosmic secrets relating to the nature of his world by gathering the [[Yellow Lum]]s. This information is collectively known as [[the Knowledge of the World]]. The Knowledge contains a number of statements relating to the Heart of the World. It says that the Yellow Lums are ‘the most important ones’, and that ‘one day, the Lums focused their energy into thought, and their consciousness brought to life a strange and marvellous creature: [[Polokus]]’. This shows that the Yellow Lums – which are synonymous with the Heart – had a significant hand in the birth of Polokus, the [[god]] who dreamt [[the Glade of Dreams]] into existence. In ''[[Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc|Rayman 3]]'', [[Murfy]] states that ‘the Heart is where all the world’s energy comes from’ – if [[Lum]]s are counted as ‘energy’, this implies that the Heart is wholly responsible for the creation of Polokus, and thus the entire universe. The Knowledge of the World also mentions that ‘the universe is made of energy’.

Located just outside Otto Psi's surgery,the '''Clearleaf Stadium''' is an ampitheatre-like chamber located in [[Clearleaf Forest]]. Upon entry, Rayman is greeted by a lumbering hoodlum called Master Kaag (or the Hoodstomper) who can move only by attaching himself to huge rampaging stilts.
After Rayman defeats Master Kaag, he is then able to animate the stilts himself to squash another hoodlum ambush.
