I saw that on the RayWiki and other Rayman wikias, the odd-eyed Rabbid who appear in many ''Rabbids'' games is a clone of Professor Barranco, or a member of his family. : I know the comment above is from nearly a decade ago but I've recently had a similar revelation about [[Rabbid chief|"the boss"]] not actually being Barranco's clone/sibling/etc. From what I can find, it's just very persistent fanon that hasn't really been challenged by anyone, presumably since Rabbids isn't a series most people think that hard about.
