The continue is a mode that allows Rayman to continue the game even if he had lost all his lives.

A clock is found on the continue screen after Rayman loses all his lives. In the PC version of Rayman, you can see how many continues you have on the main menu screen. There are only ten clocks in the game, but you can't ever earn them back. You get them all at the start of the game. The clock, like all characters in Rayman, is limbless. His hands are set to 2 and 10. In the PlayStation version, Rayman starts with five continues, but there is a cheat to earn some. (This can only be done whilst the player only has three or less continues left, though.) Accept the clock's continue, and whilst Rayman is doing cartwheels, press Up, Down, Right, Left. This will set the clock's continues to 10.

To lose a continue, the player has to wait for the clock to count down to 0. To find a clock, just lose all your lives. If you accept the clock's offer for a continue, he starts dancing uncontrollably. If you refuse or you haven't got any, he looks tired.

The continue screen is seen again in Rayman 3 for the GameBoy Advance. If Rayman loses all his lives, a screen appears where he is playing basketball with his body. If the A button is pressed in a time of 10 seconds Rayman will score and the player will repeat the level, if it is not, Rayman will go away and the player will return to the Main Menu. Unlike the first Rayman game there are infinite continues.
Rayman battles Mecha Daisy in The Reveal, a level in the Moody Clouds. When it first shows up, some Robots are trying to stop it, but Mecha Daisy keeps coming and destroys them. Rayman must then stay ahead of Mecha Daisy, while avoiding pistons and electricity. After this, Rayman must fight Mecha Daisy in a battle similar to that fought against the real Daisy.

The battle begins with Mecha Daisy jumping, and Rayman must run under it to avoid getting stepped on. Then, Rayman must run up the wall to avoid it as it charges. Mecha Daisy will hit its head on the wall, and a Bubo will form. Rayman must hit this to damage it. Then, Mecha Daisy will start to walk on the ceiling. It will then hit its head on the floor repeatedly. Rayman must avoid this until Mecha Daisy hits its head one final time. It will let go of the ceiling and lay on its head while a Bubo forms on its underside. Once Rayman hits this Bubo, Mecha Daisy will be defeated.
The Reveal is the fifth level of the Moody Clouds, a world in Rayman Origins. In this level, Rayman will start by jumping over a gap that is currently blocked off. In the next room, he finds the Magician working on some kind of computer. Then, the Magician sees Rayman and pulls the star off his hat. He jumps onto the table in the middle of the room, and posters can be seen on the back wall that show that the Magician is actually a fan of Mr. Dark. Then, he pulls a lever, and a trapdoor opens under Rayman, and Rayman falls.

Down here, a mechanical version of Daisy shows up, Mecha Daisy. Some Robots are trying to stop it, but they are unable and are destroyed. Rayman must then stay ahead of the Mecha Daisy, avoiding pistons and electricity. After a short time, he must fight Mecha Daisy in a similar fashion as the real Daisy.

Mecha Daisy will jump, and Rayman must run under it. Then, Rayman must run up the wall as it charges and bangs its head. A Bubo will form on its forehead, and Rayman must hit it. Then, it will start to walk on the ceiling and start hitting its head on the floor. Rayman must avoid this until Mecha Daisy hits its head hard enough for a Bubo to form on its underside. It will let go of the ceiling and lay on its head, and once Rayman hits this Bubo, it will be defeated.

Rayman will then fall to an area below, where he must fight a mechanical Mockingbird. The Mockingbird will fly overhead with a Bubo on its underside, dropping eggs. It will then return, snapping its beak at him. Rayman must hit the Bubo, or this process will repeat. After hitting the Bubo, there will be an updraft Rayman can use to fly. The Mockingbird will make the platform Rayman was previously on fall, and then it will fly across the screen twice with mechanical versions of Redfish behind it. Afterward, it will hit its head on the ceiling, and a Bubo will form. Once Rayman hits this Bubo, the Mockingbird will be defeated.

Rayman can then ride a platform to the left and get back to the first room of the level. He will wall jump up to a switch, and after hitting this switch, what was blocking the gap originally will stop. Rayman then can return to the room where the Magician was. Here, the Magician will fall off the table he was on, and his hat will fall off. Then, music will start to play. Shortly after, the Magician and Rayman will start dancing back and forth across the screen. After this ends, the Magician will run. Rayman will then run after him to the next area. Here, the level goes directly into Get Away!
No Turning Back is the sixth level of the Desert of Dijiridoos, the second world in Rayman Origins. This is the second level where the Electoons form a bridge for Rayman to cross. Rayman then spends the level using air currents and the Electoons’ bodies and ponytails to get to the end. There are also Darkroots in this level, but they move out of the way and don’t cause any actual trouble. At the end of the level are a Blowing Bird and an Electoon cage that must be broken in order to finish the level.
Shoot for the Stars is a level in Rayman Origins. It is located in the Moody Clouds and is the last area of the game (not including the optional Land of the Livid Dead). This area takes place high in the clouds and starts out with the Magician running from Rayman and jumping off a ledge. He reappears shortly after riding an airship with a couple of Lividstones, who slap their behinds mockingly at Rayman. Rayman will then get on the Mosquito, and they will fly along with the airship in the background, fighting Big Mecas, small flies, turrets, and Helicopter bombs.

After a bit of this, the airship will disappear, and Rayman will continue on, fighting Big Mecas and small flies. After a while, they will have to deal with red homing missiles, as well, while the airship shows up in front of them, giving them a chance to shoot it. After a short time, the airship will return to the background. They enter a very large structure, and the airship will continue to return to the foreground for short periods of time (a Hunter will appear on the airship later on to shoot red homing missiles at Rayman) before going back to the background.

They will end up in a dark place with red lights, triangular yellow signs with exclamation points on them, and arrows pointing towards the exit, indicating they are somewhere dangerous. After this, the airship will start to near a huge orange sphere, much to the Magician’s and the Lividstones’ dismay, as they scream in fear as the ship taps the sphere, causing a large crack to form. This sphere turns out to be at the center of the huge, floating city, which explodes due to the damage to the sphere. Rayman and his friends end up falling and landing back in the Snoring Tree, where they go back to sleeping and snoring loudly, as they had done at the start of the game. After this, the credits play.
Hunter Gatherer is the fourth level of the Ticklish Temples, a world in Rayman Origins. This level takes place in a forested area, with a misty background. Just past a Spiky Flower is a mosquito, which Rayman will ride. Throughout much of this area, they must deal with small flies, Baby Piranhas, Lividstones, and many Spiky Flowers that are swaying around in their way, many of which can’t be retracted.

After a while, they go to the background, where everything is seen as black silhouettes. Here, they must avoid many thorns covering the ground and ceiling, while the area around them moves. Many spiky vines grow out of the ground and ceiling, as well. In the background, thick, thorny vines can be seen.

After a bit, they return to the foreground. After a short time here, Rayman can get off the mosquito, go through a door, and break an Electoon cage to finish the level.

Geyser Blowout is the second level of the Jibberish Jungle, the first world in Rayman Origins. Many geysers and moving platforms are present in this level. This area was formerly known as Geyser Blast. This is also the first level to have hidden areas where the Electoon cages reside. The level is located on a rainy landscape with multiple creature-shaped rocks and water areas filled with Tentacle claws.

Area 1
Upon entering the level, the players can see The Magician to the left who will tell them about Lums and Skull Coins if they hit or jump on top of his hat. Afterwards, the team will continue through the level using the geysers to gain extra height. The first Skull Coin is found in the lowest section after the geysers, floating over a small body of water. One of the players must fall on a floating nenuphar to reach it without touching the water plagued by Tentacle Claws.

Area 2
The team spots a Lum King upon entering and then slides down a a waterfall onto some moving platforms near a geyser. After going up said geyser they encounter Swingmen who help them across a huge gap. However, below the gap is the first secret area of the level which the players can access and find the first Electoon cage. After that, the second Skull Coin can be seen, inside of a small tunnel located under a platform were some Psychlops can be seen jumping. If the heroes get close or enter the tunnel, it will start collapsing; the heroes must run after the coin and quickly escape by the other side before they get crushed. Afterwards, they can head back up using a bomb bulb and continue on through the area.

Secret Area 1
The team must simply defeat the four Lividstones on moving platforms guarding the cage.

Area 3
Moving platforms expand greatly in this area and can crush the team if they're not careful. The third and fourth Skull Coins are covered by plants in the upper areas, where Rayman seems able to perform a walljump. At the end of the level, the secret area is at the bottom being guarded by a Psychlops.

Secret Area 2
The team must defeat the four Lividstones guarding the cage. To do this they can either hit the bulb causing the platforms the three Lividstones are standing on to disappear thus making them fall into the rapid water into a Spiky Flower then defeating the last one manually or defeating them all manually. The team must also be careful to not fall into the water and get bubblized by the Spiky Flowers themselves.

Area 4
Now the team must put their skills to the test and conquer a mix of moving platforms and geysers and avoid falling in dangerous water containing tentacle claws. The sixth Skull Coin is located underwater; they must take it and use a geyser to escape from the tentacle claw quickly. Finally, the last Skull Coin is located under a rocky platform after the grabbing vine. To get it, the heroes must stand on said platform, and wait until it slowly collapses. When the coin is obtained, the players must quickly perform a walljump to go back to the land and avoid falling into the cliff.

Area 5
Finally the team must defeat four Psychlopses guarding the last Electoon cage by using the geyser provided for them. After doing so and breaking the cage the photoboard will appear and the level will end.

Rayman 3 (Game Boy Advance) is a portable version of the console game of the same name which was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. It is the first handheld Rayman game to feature multiplayer modes which made use of the Game Boy Advance/GameCube link cable, to link to the GameCube version. It is a 2D side-scrolling game with elements from Rayman, Rayman 2, and Rayman 3, though it is mostly centered around the story of Rayman 2. It is thought that it was originally developed as a Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 2, and that its Rayman 3 elements were added late in its development so that it could be marketed as a Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 3. There are also versions of this game for some mobile phones, and it was ported to the Nokia N-Gage. It was not given the ‘Hoodlum Havoc’ subtitle, as Hoodlums are only being present as enemies in three levels of the game (Hoodlum Hideout, Wretched Ruins and Scaleman's Keep).

Plot
The game appears either to be set between the events of Rayman 2 and Rayman 3, or to be an alternative sequel to Rayman 2. The game begins with Rayman rebuking Globox for swallowing a Dark Lum while he was trying to save the Teensies. As Rayman is about to go and find a way to cure him, Globox runs away, and leaves him worried that he'll end up doing something stupid. Meanwhile, Razorbeard hears about this incident and becomes hellbent on catching Globox to extract the Dark Lum, so he can use it to make himself more powerful, while hoping to destroy Rayman again with the Grolgoth.

Single-player gameplay
As in Rayman 2, Rayman must collect 1000 Yellow Lums and must also find and destroy 50 cages – apparently the Heart of the World has been broken again by the Robo-Pirates, but it has also become his main mission to find Globox and have the Dark Lum removed and destroyed. The Yellow Lums are found in the vast majority of the levels, though 14 of them have between 2-4 cages each, unlike the original Rayman in which the 102 cages of Electoons are divided neatly into 6 for each level. Also, not all 50 cages have to be broken in order to reach the Heart of the Ancients.

The game is split into four hub worlds, which contain 6–9 levels each, including bonus areas which are unlocked when every single Yellow Lum in a world is collected. These worlds can be accessed one at a time on a world map similar to that in Rayman, and inside, the levels are presented as curtains rather than Magic Spiral Doors. A red curtain is a level that cannot be accessed just yet, while a blue curtain is one which is open for Rayman to step in. If a blue curtain is sparkling, that means that all the Yellow Lums in that level have been collected. At the end of these worlds is a lightpost guarded by Teensies, though they will only let Rayman move on if he has completed certain levels. Rayman can also exit both a level or a world if he walks to the exit signs at the beginning. Each world contains at least one boss and a Mega Havoc bonus level.

Level Types
* Traditional: Most of the game levels fall into this category. Rayman has to progress through the level in classic 2D platforming style, while avoiding traps and enemies, breaking cages and collecting yellow lums. The number of the cages and lums varies per level. Typically such levels are split into 2 or 3 phases.
* Boss Levels: In these levels there are no cages and no yellow lums, and Rayman must battle one of the game boss characters. There is one such level in each hub world, except for the Pirate Stronghold which has two.
* Water-ski racing: These levels are set in 3D, and Rayman water-skies over the marsh, holding to the scarf of Sssssam. Similarly to The Marshes of Awakening from Rayman 2, various obstacles (mostly bombs) must be avoided. These levels contain a single phase where all yellow lums can be found. There are no cages to break.
* Kart Racing: These levels are set in 3D. Rayman rides a bumper kart. and has to complete 3 laps of the track, while collecting yellow lums and avoiding obstacles. The time per lap is limited, adding to the difficulty of the levels. If Rayman runs out of time or loses all of his hitpoints, he also loses all the yellow lums collected so far and has to start over. There are no cages to break.
* Bonus Levels: These are optional levels, which can only be accessed once all the lums in a given hub world have been collected. The levels contain more yellow lums, but no cages. They are not mandatory for game completion. Set in classic 2D platformer style, these levels contain no enemies, but the traps are more difficult than in most levels.
* Ly's Punch Challenges: These levels are optional, and contain no lums. They are set in classic 2D platformer style, with Rayman starting at the bottom and gradually progressing to the top of the level using punch platforms (hence the name). The punch platforms propel upward when hit with a charged fist, allowing Rayman to progress. Balloons, collapsing platforms and Purple lums also help Rayman through these levels. If the punch challenge is completed before the timer runs out, a new multiplayer level is unlocked.

Multiplayer gameplay
As well as the single player story mode, there is also a number of multi player games in which up to four players can play using the Game Boy Advance Game Link cable. Players can either choose the Single-pak link, in which only one Game Pak is needed to play with up to 2 players, or the Multi-Pak link, in which each of up to four players will need a copy of the same cartridge each.

Single-pak game
In this game, both players control Rayman riding in the same rocketship that he uses in Heart of the Ancients, and the aim is to defeat each other, akin to the Missile Dogfight game in Rayman Revolution.

Tag Mode
This game is a tag game in which the player with the tag has to hurry and tag the others before their time runs out, and they can only do so by picking up the Fist power-up and using it.

Burglar Mode
This time, the player with the tag has to keep him or herself as far away from the others as possible, and the first one to reach the maximum time of one minute wins. A second Burglar map can only be unlocked when Rayman completes Ly's Punch Challenge 2 in the single player story mode.

Bumper Car Race
This is a bumper cars race that is set in the same environment as that in Magma Mayhem, and as such a player has to take care not to get pushed into the lava by the others as they race three laps for first place.

Bumper Car Arena
This is the same game as above, only this time the aim is for each player to push their opponents into the lava. The last one standing is the winner. This can only be unlocked when all 50 cages have been found and broken.

GameCube Link
Players which have both Rayman 3 on the Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo GameCube can link the two games together using the special Game Boy Advance/GameCube link cable. Both of these have content only playable through this method. On the GameCube, there are unlockable minigames where Rayman is driving Kart and Globox is building Rayman's path. There is a second minigame similar to this, except two link cables, two Rayman 3 GBA cartridges, and two GameCube controllers are required. This one is basically the same, though there is a second team consisting of Reflux and Gumsi. On the Game Boy Advance, when the link is detected (due to data having to be transferred from the GameCube game to play), shorter bonus stages are available to play. A new bonus stage becomes available for every 100 Yellow Lums collected (out of 1000).

* Heart of the Ancients
* Lum Challenge

Powers
As is the case in most Rayman games, Rayman will need certain powers to reach certain areas. As a result, he will have to return to replay these levels later on in the game, once Ly the Fairy has given him whatever power he needs. The only power he has at the beginning of the game is his telescopic fist, which functions much like it did in the original Rayman game.

* Double Fists: This power allows Rayman to quickly use both his fists, which becomes useful for knocking down large objects.
* Grappling Fist: This allows him to grab onto Purple Lums and reach places he couldn't before.
* Climbing between two walls: Once Rayman receives this power, he will be able to scale between two walls.
* Super Helicopter: Allows Rayman to fly with his Helicopter whenever he eats a Blue Lum.
* Body Shot: This power is exclusive to the game. It allows Rayman to throw his body downwards and break through weak floors, such as wooden bridges. This can only be done while he is in the air.

Items
*Yellow Lums: Rayman has to collect all of these in every level. Some are hidden, and some are in his pathway. Getting all of the Lums in one world gives him access to the Mega Havoc level of that world.
*Red Lums: These refill one space of Rayman's health if he collects one.
*Blue Lums: Blue Lums let Rayman use his helicopter hair to fly. Most of them only allow him to do it for a short time, but at one point in the game he finds one that lets him fly for as long as he wants until he reaches the end of that part.
*Green Lums: These work as checkpoints. If Rayman collect a Green Lum, he returns to the place he got it if he dies.
*Silver Lums: Whenever Rayman collects one of these he will gain an extra life. They are some of the rarest Lums in the game.
*Cages: Cages are hidden throughout the levels, and imprisoned within them are some of the inhabitants. Rayman usually has to hit the cage twice to free them.
*Lightposts: These are green lights on a post. They always at the end of a part of a level, and whenever Rayman goes to one, he will proceed to the next part of the level.
*Magic curtains: These are what Rayman uses to enter a level in the world map. They are blue in colour and the red ones must be unlocked.

N-GAGE version
A Nokia N-GAGE version of Rayman 3 was developed by Gameloft. It was based heavily of the Game Boy Advance version, but there are some differences between the two:

* The screen is smaller (176x208 pixels, while the Game Boy Advance screen's resolution is 240x160 pixels)
* Some graphical elements are sharper, including Rayman himself
* Some sound effects are different, including the Super Fist sound effect and Rayman's jump sound effect
* Some visual effects have been removed. The curtains on both sides of the screen in the overworld levels are missing, as well as the animation from the world transition)
* Four levels (Swamps of Begoniax, Magma Mayhem, Swamps of Begoniax 2 and Magma Mayhem 2) were replaced by new redesigned levels: Ascension, Ly's Punch Challenge 1, Free Falling and Falling Down. The number of Lums and cages was not changed.

Trivia
Continuity issue

The plot of this version of the game follows the original storyline to a very degree, being almost unrecognisable in its events. For this reason, it cannot be considered a retelling of the Rayman 3 story on the handheld. For this reason (as stated above) it is either a prequel to the mainstream Rayman 3 or an alternative continuity.

* The game could take place between Rayman 2 and Hoodlum Havoc as the characters of the latter appear to have prior knowledge of Black Lums, as none ever request an explaination as to what they are or where they come from, suggesting perhaps that this is not their first encounter with them. (The one exception to this is when Murphy reads the origin of the Black Lums in the manual, although this seems to be done for the player's benefit and not necessarily the characters) As Black Lums are never mentioned in Rayman 2, is it possible that their introduction to the storyline took place in the gap between the two games.
* Further to the above point, it is never explicitly stated what happens to the Hoodlum army at the end of the handheld Rayman 3, making it more than possible for them to still be around in Hoodlum Havoc.
* Andre's appearance in the handheld game is highly debatable. Nowhere in the game or its instriction manuel is he referred to, the Black Lum that Globox swallows is never named as anything more than an average Black Lum. For this reason it is fair to say that Andre does not appear in the handheld version, which explains why no one has prior knowledge of him (that they reveal) in Hoodlum Havoc.
* However, if the game truely does take place between Rayman 2 and 3, it is forgivable to question why the characters never reference the events of this game, particually since Globox swallows a Black Lum in both storylines but in Hoodlum Havoc everyone behaves as if this is the first time he has done such a thing.
* At the begining of the level "Swamps of Begoniax" on GBA, Rayman explicitly shows knowledge of the character Begoniax "Do you think [Globox] might have gone to Begoniax's marshes?", however, Rayman and Begoniax show no obvious recognition of each other in Hoodlum Havoc, and there is no reason to suspect that they have ever had any interaction in the past. Begoniax certainly does not know Rayman, simply referring to him as "that pervert".
* The opening and end cinematic of Hoodlum Havoc seems to suggest that Andre was "born" (through the actions of Rayman's wandering hands)on the same night that the events of the game started. As Andre is alone at the beginning of the game, it suggests that he was indeed the Black Lum that started the army up. (As mentioned by Murphy whilst reading the manual at the start of The Fairy Council's second level: "Suddenly, a Black Lum transports the red lums into Hoodlums") This rules out any possibility of Black Lums being present prior to the night Hoodlum Havoc began. However, this is only what we are led to presume. Whilst Andre is most likely the Black Lum the manual mentions, he was not necessarily transformed the same night depicted in the opening cinematic. He could have been transformed by the hands one night, created the Hoodlum army we see in the GBA game, and then gathered more the night of the beginning of Hoodlum Havoc.
They must face various enemies such as Redfish, Blowfish, Ocean Spiders, and Jellyfish. Eventually, they leave the water, where they must face little, yellow birds and avoid an enemy that appears similar to the Giant Eel but is smaller, purple, and not able to be defeated. After a short time, they go underwater again and must avoid several of these purple eels. For a while, they must stay in between two eels. After this, they leave the water and arrive at the Mystical Pique, where Rayma can get off the mosquito. Here, he can break an Electoon cage and end the level.
It acts as a transition between the Gourmand Land and the Sea of Serendipity, in a similar way to the first part of Bongo Hills in the MS-DOS version of Rayman. Above the ocean, Rayman has to battle a Giant Eel.

This level starts off in the Infernal Kitchen part of Gourmand Land. Shortly into it, Rayman rides the mosquito. They must avoid flames and watch out for Dragonflies and Baby Dragon Chefs. A bit later, they must also watch out for knives or forks that may fly across the area, falling ice cubes, and also glowing hot objects. Then, just past a Chilli Pepper, they enter a new area. After flying through a short cave, they end up flying low over the Sea of Serendipity, where they must defeat a Giant Eel by shooting the purple area on the end of each segment. After this, Rayman can get off the mosquito and break the Electoon cage to finish the level.
Hi-Ho Moskito! is the eighth and last level of the Jibberish Jungle, the first world in Rayman Origins. It acts as a transition between the Jibberish Jungle and the Desert of Didgeridoos, in a similar way to the first part of Bongo Hills in the MS-DOS version of Rayman.
This level contains the first boss of this game, the Guardian of the Music World (also called Boss Bird), a gigantic yellow bird guarding the entrance to the Desert of Dijieridoos which is defeated by shooting it mutiple times. On an early sketch, this level was supposed to have Hunter Birds as enemies; however, the concept was scrapped.

Shortly into this level, Rayman rides on the mosquito, and they fly high over the jungle and must deal with smaller flies and larger Flies. A bit farther into the level, they enter a cave and must deal with Hunters shooting missiles and Lividstones. After a little bit, they leave the cave and must then also face homing missiles.

Right after that, they start flying into a new area, the Desert of Didgeridoos. Here, strange, thin objects can be seen coming through the clouds below. Rayman must face flying bombs here, and he must fight the Guardian of the Music World, Boss Bird. After defeating it, Rayman can get off the mosquito, go through a door, and break an Electoon cage to exit the level.
Shortly after the game's November 2011 release, Michel Ancel stated 'One has to know that Rayman Origins isn't just one game – we plan to make others, with retro 2D gameplay, and to give more and more details on the story.' In March 2012, artistic director Christophe Villez hinted that a new Rayman game would be revealed in June, at E3 2012. Also in March 2012, Bertrant Chaverot, the general director of Ubisoft Brazil, stated that Rayman Origins would have a continuation, but did not reveal any details.
On 23 April, 2012, a marketing survey containing information about Rayman Legends was leaked to the games media. The survey contained several pieces of information regarding the Rayman Origins sequel, along with two gameplay videos (though only screenshots of these were included in the leak). Like its predecessor, the game will feature co-operative gameplay with up to four players. It will also feature 'brand new settings: legendary worlds filled with castles, vampires, Ghosts, Greek Gods, or dragons...' The following day, the videos from which the images were taken were uploaded to YouTube, but both were quickly taken down at the request of Ubisoft.
On 26 April, 2012, Ubisoft registered the domain names 'RaymanLegends.com' and 'Rayman-Legends.com', leading to speculation that Rayman Legends would be the title of the Rayman Origins sequel.

On 27 April, 2012, the first full-length trailer for the game was leaked to the public. It features the aforementioned settings, gives more details on online gameplay and reveals a new playable character: a Betilla-like warrior girl known as Barbara. In the Wii U version of the game, the player will be able to use certain physical toys to interact with the game world; this is similar to the premise of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. The trailer shows a player scanning a Rabbid toy to enter a level where Rayman must fight Rabbids, and hints that similar functionality will be possible with toys based on other Ubisoft characters, such as Ezio from the Assassin's Creed series. Ubisoft initially attempted to suppress the videos, but after a few hours they released an official statement, confirming that Rayman Legends was being developed by Michel Ancel and Ubisoft Montpellier, but downplaying the video's accuracy, claiming that 'This video was intended as a purely internal demonstrative video, and in NO way represents the final game, the final console or their features. The game was officially unveiled with a gameplay demonstration at the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo, showcasing Murphy, a new playable character, controlled via the Wii U system's touch screen on the tablet controller. It also showed medieval-themed stages as well as a rhythm-based map of The Land of The Livid Dead from Rayman Origins featuring remixed music. '
Shooting Me Softly is the seventh and last level of the Desert of Dijiridoos, the second world in Rayman Origins. It acts as a transition between the Desert of Dijiridoos and the Gourmand Land, in a similar way to the first part of Bongo Hills in the MS-DOS version of Rayman.

Shortly into the level, Rayman reaches the mosquito. As they fly through the level, they must face Helmet Birds, small yellowish-orange birds, and Red Birds, while also avoiding big, spiky birds. At times, the mosquito must shoot drums to bounce its shots into other things, such as switches. Eventually, there are also bats to deal with, and the mosquito must shoot the yellow circles in order to open a path for itself.

After this, they reach a new area, which starts off with nothing but clouds, but clears up to show the ocean in the background with glaciers and ice formations. Here, Rayman and the mosquito must avoid flying objects that explode when shot, and then they fly through icy passages and must avoid spiky fruit. After a short time, the screen starts to move faster, and the floor and ceiling move to meet each other, requiring the mosquito to move quickly in order to avoid getting crushed. After this, Rayman is able to get off the mosquito, and after going through the next door, he can break the Electoon cage and end the level.
Riding the Storm is the first level of the Moody Clouds, a world in Rayman Origins. This level begins on the snowy top of Mystical Pique, where there are four Teensies and the five nymphs. The Teensies go around the middle nymph, Helena Handbasket, repeatedly bowing, while she says a few words, activating the nearby gate. Then, Rayman goes through the gate, getting taken up into the clouds in a ball of light. Up in the clouds, it is very stormy. The Magician is here, and if Rayman jumps on his hat, he warns Rayman that it is dangerous and not to proceed. Rayman continues anyway, and past a few clouds shooting out lightning, he reaches the mosquito, which he rides for the rest of the level.

As Rayman rides the mosquito, he must avoid clouds with lightning shooting between them at first, and then an airship shows up in the background. It shoots helicopter bombs into the foreground. Rayman and the mosquito must avoid these, small fly enemies, and more clouds shooting lightning. After quite a while, large fly enemies show up, as well. As Rayman goes through this area, strange structures can be seen in the background, some quite large. There appears to be more structures as Rayman progresses further into the level, with the largest being at the end. Eventually Rayman reaches an area with pipe-like structures all around. Here, he must face turrets and machines that shoot electricity between each other in addition to the small and large flies. After a while, Rayman must avoid red missiles, as well. Right after this, Rayman is able to get off the mosquito, break open an Electoon cage, and finish the level.
Tricky Temple Too is the fourth level of the Moody Clouds, a world in Rayman Origins. It is the tenth and last Tricky Treasure level, where Rayman must chase a Tricky Treasure for a Skull Tooth. This level actually can’t be accessed until the player completes the main part of the game. After the player finishes the level Get Away! and watches the credits, then they can reach this level.

This level appears to be underground, though light can be seen shining in the distance, with many stone pillars in the background. Glimpses of machinery or damaged structures (some topped with a weather vane) can be seen throughout the level, and there are objects hanging from the ceiling that are like those seen in the Mystical Pique.

As Rayman chases the Tricky Treasure through this level, he must avoid Darkroots and jagged, red spikes that come out of the ceiling, ground, and walls. Towards the end, there are several times where Rayman is assisted by Swingmen, and then shortly after this, he catches up to the Tricky Treasure.
In the second half of the level, Rayman then must follow the Tricky Treasure through water, which gets increasingly dark as he swims downward. Here, he must avoid more spikes and various enemies, and he must move quickly as the area crumbles around him. It is the fifth Tricky Treasure level, where Rayman must chase a Tricky Treasure for a Skull Tooth. This level consists of Rayman chasing a Tricky Treasure through an area that appears to be underground, with water coming down in places. There are various stone structures with faces on them down here, as well. Not long into the level, as Rayman runs, many large, jagged spikes pop out of the ground behind him or come down from above, and a few times, rectangular stones come from the walls, attempting to crush him. There are more and more spikes as Rayman gets farther into the level. Right before the end, a large round stone face surrounded by spikes rolls after Rayman a short ways before hitting a wall. After this, Rayman finally catches the Tricky Treasure.
Big Mama is a gigantic pink tentacled monster who acts as the optional final boss of Rayman Origins. She is fought in the Land of the Livid Dead, a hellish underworld and optional final level which can only be accessed by collecting all of the Skull Teeth in the game. Several editions of The Daily Bubble showed a middle-aged female glute, known as Mamma Hité or Voodoo Mamma, who bore a strong resemblance to Big Mama (and is still mentioned by the Bubble Dreamer); however, in the final version of the game, Big Mama turns into a nymph when she is defeated, and Voodoo Mama is never seen.

Big Mama was first revealed in the game's announcement trailer, where she is seen battling Rayman and Globox in the Mystical Piques. Later artwork shows her tentacles descending from the clouds above the mountain, suggesting that the players would have to climb to reach her. However, in the final version of the game, the battle with Big Mama was relocated to the Land of the Livid Dead. When Rayman, Globox, and the two Teensies enter Big Mama's lair, she is painting her nails while singing (her voice here is provided by Christoph Héral's aunt).

At one point it was stated that Big Mama's monstrous roars had been provided by series creator Michel Ancel, but this may have changed during the development of the game, as she sounds distinctly feminine in the final version. It is not known which actress voices Big Mama's nymph form.

Beating Big Mama in Rayman Origins unlocks in the HD consoles (except PC) the hidden trophy/achievement Nothing Lasts Forever.
* "Dude, still in bed? Well, it must’ve been a late night. Uh huh huh. Just kidding. Haha. My colleague explained everything. Well, it seems like you swallowed a Black Lum. Major bummer. You see, Black Lums reproduce like some kinda crazy weed. They’re really wacky. Let’s see if we can, y’know, hook you up with something to take the pain away, huh? How’s that sound? Hold on a sec here."
}}

Humans are the dominant species of planet Earth. They are rarely seen during the Rayman series, but they are frequent in the Raving Rabbids series in particular in Rabbids Go Home because a big part of the events focusing on the Rabbids are set on Earth. They are first encountered in the spin-off title Rayman Dictées.

Characters description
Appearance
Humans made some appearences during the series, but their look changes game to game. In Rayman Dictées they have a cartoonized look that tries to recreate the real world humans' aspect. The mouths and the noses of the men are usually big, but the women's ones are smaller. Both males and females have black pupils. The humans in this game have a different physical appearance that makes some of them look strong, others fat, others thin. In Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 humans are seen in the intro and in the Bunny Hunt minigames. By the fact that real world graphics are used, the humans present are real. In Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party they are all portrayed as male fighters. They are fat, tall, with small legs and with dots for eyes. In Rabbids Go Home humans share a similar traits with the ones from the precedent title, like the dot-eyes, but they are all thin, even the fighters. In this game, unlike the predecessor, there are also women. In Raving Rabbids Travel In Time humans share a similar appearence to the real world ones; in fact some of them represent famous historical personalities.

Personality
The humans personality varies person to person. Some are nasty, some are nice, but most of them share similar traits. In Rabbids Go Home all the humans are described as spending their lives like a big party driving safely and curiously, working hard and shopping til you drop. They seem also to be very attached to their stuff and cleaning maniacs. Some of them dressed in a rubber suit to be not contaminated by Rabbids. As seen in this game and in Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, they all seem to be scared of the Rabbids, but in Raving Rabbids Travel In Time only some of them are, like the professor in the museum. In this game, in fact, most of the people just ignore Rabbids or aren't conscious of their presence. In Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party the only humans present are fighters that aren't scared of them. People can also be cooperative, because in Rabbids Go Home they work toghether to get rid of the invaders.
Humans speak different languages all around the world, but they can't understand Raymanian that is spoken in Rayman's world. However, Rayman can speak some human's languages as seen in the Nintendo DS version of Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. Clara the Witch may be the only human that can speak Raymanian as seen in Rayman Dictées when she speaks with Rayman, but it is unclear what language they are speaking.

Role in the game
Rayman Dictées
In Rayman Dictées the witch Clara asks Rayman for help, because she has accidentaly frozen all the humans from the feet to the torso. Some human characters like Patrick, Gaaf, Tim, Junior, Landra, and Sam make appearence during the game

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
In Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 humans make appearences as real world people only in the introduction and in the Bunny Hunt minigames. In the introduction a journalist named Jennifer Art from Paris tells that large yellow submarines have been identify all around the world. She asks who are they, where do they come from, and what do they want. After that a group of Rabbids jump out of a submarine scaring all the people and beating up the journalist. In the Bunny Hunt minigames, humans are seen running away from the Rabbids.

Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party
In Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party the only humans present are fighters. They appear in the minigame Missfit, and in Rabbid Wrestling they serves as obstacles. Real world American football players also make a cameo inside Rayman's television in the ending cinematic.

Rabbids Go Home
Rabbids Go Home is the game in which humans are more focused. The Rabbids decided to build a pile to the moon and to do this they start collecting all kinds of stuff they can take. Humans are scared of the Rabbids and do not want them to destroy their life. Some of them called Verminators decided to wear big rubber chlothes to protect themselves from the Rabbids and to try to stop them. They also used dogs and robots for their intentions. During the game are encountered a lot of stereotypes and some facts are focused on particular human characters. For example an old ill man placed inside a bubble bed will be taken various time by the Rabbids for their pile and during the game he and her nurse will fall in love and marry. Other characters focused on are a business owner and his secretary. The Rabbids frequently enter in the business owner's office with the unconscious help of his secretary to steal some of his important stuff. At the end they also stole his strongbox, but he fights with all his strength to prevent this. At the end humans succeed in getting rid of the Rabbids, making them fly to the moon with the help of some bombs. The humans in this game have a skinny appearence, with not much muscle and wrinkles.

Raving Rabbids Travel In Time
Humans appear also in Raving Rabbids Travel In Time. A lot of historical personalities and stereotypical characters from the past are present. Inside the museum there is also a professor that tries in every way to escape from the Rabbids. They seem unaware of the Rabbids, not being scared of them. Only the professor in the museum is frightened of them. The humans have a realistic appearence, having wrinkles and muscles.

Rayman Origins
In Rayman Origins, several characters from previous games return, but differing from their original appearance similar to Rayman's species, most of them are given limbs and turned into different species, possibly to make Rayman unique after the changes made in Rayman 2: The Great Escape. While the Magician was redesigned to be a Teensie, other creatures like the Hunters and the Livingstones are redesigned as humans. Also, the nymphs particularly resemble humans. Rayman Origins is the first non-spin-off game in the series to have humans in it.

Rayman Legends
In the upcoming game in the main Rayman series, Rayman Legends, a human barbarian girl called Barbara will be a playable character, which is a first for the series altogether.

Trivia
* Humans are seen only in spin-off titles of the Rayman series.
* Only a few humans have their name revealed, like Clara the Witch from Rayman Dictées.
* Humans are seen also in Tonic Trouble and in Academy of Champions.
Redfish are fish enemies from Rayman Origins that reside in the Sea of Serendipity and the Angsty Abyss. In appearance, they have round red bodies, dark-red fins and tail, and cream-coloured lips with small fangs. They act as guards of the oceans, constantly moving around, looking for someone to attack with their dangerous tridents. Some Redfish have a different behaviour, and instead of looking for a victim, they constantly practice with their tridents while moving in different directions. The best way to defeat a Redfish is to attack it from behind or any other blind spot. Like most of the enemies in Rayman Origins, Redfish take only one hit to be bubblized. They also take only one Moskito shot to be defeated, although they don't bubblize during Moskito sequences, but disappear; during these sequences, they are grouped in rows, much like the Jellyfish. Redfish usually swim in pair numbers, although some can be seen swiming alone. Some groups of static Redfish are positioned in a triangle formation (much like bowling pins), and the heroes must push the Blowfish before them to produce a chain reaction and bubblize them all.
I agree that the Leptys is more a neutral character. But, it can be considered a friend, since it gives Rayman the Grimace power. But, it is never a boss. It gives Reflux its power, allowing him to be the final boss, but Rayman never actually fights the Leptys.--Theduckofindeed 22:46, 2 August 2012 (CEST)

Poor Little Daisy is the seventh and last level of the Ticklish Temples, a world in Rayman Origins. This level consists of a boss battle against Daisy, the first of the four kings that were turned into monsters that Rayman must defeat in order to make them normal again.

The boss battle begins shortly into the level, with Rayman having to stay ahead of Daisy. Rayman must move quickly up a vertical passage while Daisy follows, using platforms and Platformmen to go up. There are also spiky creatures Rayman must avoid, as well. At times, Daisy will stop and roar several times, causing platforms to crumble, and then will start moving upwards again at an even faster speed. After a bit, Rayman must move horizontally and avoid Daisy. This only lasts a short time before Daisy stops at a passage too narrow for him.

In the next section, Rayman must avoid Darkroots for a short ways before falling into a room with Daisy. This is where the actual battle takes place. Daisy will come forward, and Rayman must run up the walls to get out of the way. Daisy will then hit his head on the wall, causing a Bubo to grow. After Rayman hits this, Daisy will then get on the ceiling and hit his head against the floor. He will do this several times, during which Rayman must run under Daisy in between his attacks. After hitting the floor several times, Daisy will release his grip on the ceiling, laying there on his head while a Bubo forms on his underside. After hitting this Bubo, Daisy will flip over and jump several times, during which Rayman must run underneath to avoid getting hurt. Then, Daisy will shoot his long tongue forward across the room, showing a Bubo in his mouth. Rayman must run up the tongue and hit the Bubo to defeat Daisy, who will return to normal.
After a short time, there will be a Bubo on Murray’s tail, and when Rayman attacks it, Murray will leave the area for a short time. When he returns, Rayman must avoid him and two of the creatures until he can hit another Bubo on Murray’s tail. This level consists of a boss battle against the Mocking Bird, the second of the four kings that were turned into monsters that Rayman must defeat in order to make them normal again.

The battle begins with Rayman pulling on the sleeping Mocking Bird’s tail, waking it up. It then yells and flies off to the side. Shortly after, it returns and flies over Rayman with a Bubo on its back end. After Rayman hits this Bubo, there is an updraft, and the Mocking Bird hits the platform Rayman was on, causing it to fall. Rayman then must use his helicopter to ride the updraft and avoid the Mocking Bird as it charges across the screen, followed by several smaller birds. After this, it returns, hitting its head against the overhang above. This causes the Mocking Bird to be stunned momentarily while a Bubo grows on its head. Once Rayman hits the second Bubo, the Mocking Bird will hit its head once more, then, Rayman must head downwards. Here, Rayman will meet up with the Mocking Bird again and must avoid spiky bird enemies as the Mocking Bird sucks in air and spins in a circle. Once it stops spinning, Rayman must pull its tail, causing the Mocking Bird to become stunned again and grow a Bubo on its tongue. After this third Bubo is hit, the battle is over, and the Mocking Bird will return to normal.
