|Appears in||RRR, RRR2|
Pigs in Rayman's world are small creatures, pink-coloured and round-shaped with only two teeth in the lower part of the mouth. They have always the same facial expression and a big triangular nose that is very useful to smell nearby dangers as seen in Bunnies Are Heartless With Pigs. There are also female pigs that look like the male ones with the addition of blond hair gathered in braids. The major part of the pigs are smaller than Rayman, but the females appear to be bigger and as seen in Bunnies Don't Milk Cows there are also pigs as big as a cow. As seen in these last two minigames, it seems that male pigs can produce milk.
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Pigs make their first appearence in Rayman Raving Rabbids. In the minigames Bunnies Are Heartless With Pigs Rayman has to bring a piglet to her mother avoiding some Rabbids. If one of them is near the player, the pig that Rayman hold will start grunting. In Bunnies Can't Herd they are part of the challenge along with cows and sheep. A pig is also present in the introduction of Part 2 of Bunnies Can't Slide and some others appear in Bunnies Don't Milk Cows only in the multiplayer mode. They appear also in Part 2 of Bunnies Rarely Leave Their Burrows as obstacles. In Bunnies Don't Like Bats Rayman has to bring some piglets to her mother with the help of a bat.
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
Even if the events of Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 are set in the Earth, this species of pigs is present. They appear as obstacles in Bike Race and Shopping Cart Downhill. A pig makes a cameo in the minigame Rodeo, but it is not real.
A different variation of pigs can be seen in a loading screen from the game Raving Rabbids Travel in Time. These pigs look more realistic by the fact that they're Earth pigs. They are never seen in-game.
The original pig from Rayman Raving Rabbids makes a cameo appearance in Rayman Legends through a shape of a constellation in the sky of one of the levels from the olympus world. This pig bears a pair of wings, possibly as an allegory to the phrase "when pigs fly", and is accompanied by a constellation of a Glute playing a harp.
