"Female Teensy"?....guys, seriously? she's Teensette, I thought we made that point clear.--Sergiomonty 05:07, 2 June 2012 (CEST)

Actually I find this confusing. What if Teensette is the Female gender of a Teensie, instead of a name? --Sparkle.gifHarukaSparkle.gif 12:33, 2 June 2012 (CEST)
It...it is possible, yes, maybe. Okay, let's wait for Rayman Legends, maybe the Bubble Dreamer will be there to explain us more about her.--Sergiomonty 14:39, 2 June 2012 (CEST)
In the French version, when you speak with Polokus with this Teensie, the Bubble Dreamer says : 'Votre altessissime'. It's a pun with the word 'altesse' ('highnness') and the suffix -issime, which adds more importance to this word. There is no pun with the name of the specie of this character, like in the English version. As we don't know if she is a queen or a princess, I think that 'Female Teensy' is better. -- Boomboleros7 16:03, 2 June 2012 (CEST)
As I've already explained at Talk:Angry Bird, the fact that the Bubble Dreamer addressed her as 'Your royal Teensetteness' does not mean that 'Teensette' is her name, and I really don't see how you came to that conclusion in the first place. If someone addresses the Queen of England as 'Your royal Highness', does that mean her name is 'High'? Have you noticed that nobody ever addresses the Grand Minimus as 'Your royal Grand Minimusness'? Until we have a solid source confirming this character's name, she will be 'the female Teensy'. —Spiraldoor IconSpiralDoor.png 16:13, 2 June 2012 (CEST)
If some crazy guy addressed the Queen of England as 'Your royal HighETTEness' I would believe that her name is Highette, the syllable "ette" is there for some reason, I don't see why would you ignore it, and again, knowing that Ubisoft used Uglette as a name (not only ubisoft, Nintendo does this pretty often with the mario franchise: Toadette, Bombette, etc) I just realized that the word "Teensette" was hinted there, so I decided to put it as a support name. Your argument would be more solid if only she was refered to as "Teensyness" or "Teensieness", which sounds more common for a highness address, but then this random "ETTE" appears. I'll let this article the way it is, Haruka's argument seems more legit. Again, let's wait for Legends and see if we get more information about this Teensy lady.--Sergiomonty 17:56, 2 June 2012 (CEST)

So... we can assume that this discussion is product of another bad traslation?--Sergiomonty 18:03, 2 June 2012 (CEST)
It's quite possible. I have compared the sentences of Polokus in the English and the French versions of Rayman Origins, and I have noticed some differences, sometimes very curious.
For example, in the English version, there is a sentence where Polokus decides to call the Teensie that looks like Globox GlobTeen. This sentence isn't present in the French version. Polokus stops after he said 'Pfft...just another fanboy!'. Mind you that in the French version, Polokus doesn't say 'fanboy' but 'groupie'.
In the French version, the Ninja Teensie ('Ptininja', who is derived from 'Ptizêtre', the French name of the Teensies) has got a name: Alain Visible. As you see, it's a pun with the word 'Invisible'.
In the English version, Polokus says that the Fire Teensie have been tortured by Chilli Peppers. In the French version, Polokus says that this Teensie has been tortured by creatures called 'diablotins rôtisseurs' (that we can translate by 'roasters imps'). They are maybe those flying red monsters that you fight in the shoot'em up levels of Gourmand Land and Luscious Lakes? (You speak about them in the article called Dragonfly (Rayman Origins))
In the English version, Polokus calls Bad Rayman DarkRay. Not in the French version. Polokus doesn't name Bad Rayman, but he says that he is the evil clone of Rayman, created by Mister Dark.
In the French version, Glombrox is called Glomoche. It's a pun with the French word 'Moche' ('Ugly')
There is too a difference between the English and the French versions in a sentence of Polokus on Globox. This concerns the word 'Glute'. I will soon speak about this in another discussion. -- Boomboleros7 18:17, 3 June 2012 (CEST)

What if her name is... Pink Terror?

It might sound dumb, and I'm more familiarized with the name "Teensette" but... I just noticed that the words "Pink Terror" are capitalized! I'm not sure if that's her real name but if that's the capitalized nickname that the Bubble Dreamer gave to her, wouldn't that be better than just "Female Teensy"? just saying --Sergiomonty 18:25, 6 September 2012 (CEST)

Doesn't Bubble Dreamer say "you Pink Terror!" or something to that effect? (Can't remember.) It's got the same effect as saying "you cheeky devil". Does that mean their name is "Cheeky Devil"? Of course not. If you could give me the context in which he says it, then perhaps we could work it out. --iHeckler9  18:43, 6 September 2012 (CEST)
Well, I wouldn't take much care of it if it wasn't capitalized. I accept "Teensetteness" because is a respectful way to refer to her as part of the royalty... but "Pink Terror"? why not just "pink terror"? there's the big mystery. In fact, capitalized letters are the reason why the "Tricky Treasure" is called like that and not "chest", which is how he's refered in the manual, but with lowercase --Sergiomonty 18:47, 6 September 2012 (CEST)
What kind of name is Pink Terror anyway? Why not name the Grand Minimus "Crowned Terror"? Or the Fire Teensie "Red Terror"? It doesn't make sense. --iHeckler9  18:51, 6 September 2012 (CEST)
The same kind of name as Teensy Ray, DarkRay and GlobTeen, Goth Teensy (he's not even goth), The First Grand Minimus and Alin Visible (Ninja Teensy's french name). Rayman Origins doesn't have the most original names, remember? --Sergiomonty 18:55, 6 September 2012 (CEST)
