Ayuda:Manual de estilo

Un articulo es una pagina con contenido que cubre el conocimiento de su tema - sea un personaje, juego, item, etc; relacionandose a la serie de Rayman. En RayWiki, apuntamos a cubrir todo el conocimiento sobre las series en la medida de lo posible, en ese entonces, nuevos articulos se necesitaran sobre el tiempo. Este manual te dará una idea en los requisitos básicos que se necesitan cuando vayas a crear y expandir artículos.

Criteria Necesaria

1. Negrita y repite el titulo del articulo en la primera sentencia.
2. Da tanto detalle al articulo en la medida de lo posible.
3. Italicisa todos los titulos de los juegos, y recuerda de ponerles un link tambien.
4. Links - ponle links a muchos otros articulos en la medida de lo posible.
5. Trata de no usar la palabra 'tu' cuando te refieres a jugar el juego. Alternativas aceptables pueden ser el nombre del personaje o 'el personaje debe'.
6. Aplica Categorias a tu nuevo articulo, preferentemente a muchas relacionadas en la medida de lo posible.

Mejoras para los Artículos

Los siguientes items no son necesariamente requeridos cuando se hacen nuevos artículos, pero le dará un toque mas profesional.

1. Imágenes para ilustrar el articulo; es recomendado que se tengan "al menos" una por cada articulo.
2. Conocimiento/Noticias modelos de ello mismo. (Por ejemplo: carteles con información).
3. Galerías para demostrar un grupo de imágenes juntas.
4. Tablas para dejar información con estadísticas.

Como crear o editar un articulo

• Para crear un articulo, haz clic en un link rojo, donde te llevara al campo de Edición. Buscar por un articulo que no existe y después hacer clic en 'Crear esta pagina' hará lo mismo.
• Para editar un articulo, haz clic en la pestaña con el nombre 'editar' que se muestra en lo alto de ello, la tercera pestaña de la izquierda.

Lenguajes

Actualmente, RayWiki es una wiki con Francés, Inglés, Alemán, Húngaro, Italiano, Polaco y Español, que son versiones de esas mismos idiomas, por lo tanto, cuando se crea un nuevo articulo, por favor usa los nombres apropiados para cada de los lenguajes (por ejemplo, si hablas Francés y deseas crear un articulo acera de los Teensies, busca el nombre francés de los Teensies y le llamas a tu articulo "Ptizêtres" en vez de usar el nombre en Inglés). Si hablas un lenguaje que no esta disponible aquí y deseas por una nueva versión de la wiki para cubrir este lenguaje, siéntete libre para contactarnos.

Dándole nombre a un Articulo

La serie "Rayman" es una franquicia Francesa Europea, por lo tanto preferimos que los artículos de juegos tengan los títulos Europeos de cada juego. Por ejemplo, si deseas llamar un articulo acerca de "Rayman Arena", la versión Norteamericana de "Rayman M", deberías usar el nombre "Rayman M", pero redirigir otros títulos internacionales al articulo. (Por ejemplo: Rayman M redirige de Rayman Arena, o al revés). Si no hay un título Europeo, entonces uno Norteamericano se usará. El nombre de un artículo debería corresponder al primer nombre Inglés oficial, por ejemplo un artículo sobre los Rabidds deberían ser llamados por su nombre Inglés, en vez de su nombre Francés, 'Lapins Crétins'. Si no hay nombre en Inglés, entonces el primer nombre internacional oficial debería ser usado, ej: el nombre francés. Si no hay nombre oficial, entonces un nombre que describe el tema puede ser usado hasta que un nombre oficial se ha encontrado. Por ejemplo, los gigantes rojos sin nombres en Bongo Hills pueden ser llamados 'Monstruo Rojo'.

Artículos

Artículos tales como 'el' no son incluidos en los títulos a menos que sea un nombre de un nivel.

Los nombres de los Artículos

Los nombres de los Artículos deberían usar su nombre mas comúnmente usado, y no necesariamente el mas completo. Por ejemplo, Rayman 2 en vez de Rayman 2: The Great Escape.

Significados

Si deseas hacer un articulo acerca de algo que comparte el mismo nombre que otro, entonces unas pocas palabras para describir el segundo nombre debería ser usado en comillas. Por ejemplo, un articulo llamado 'La Tierra de los Muertos Vivientes' acerca del nivel de "Rayman 3", pero también hay un nivel que comparte este nombre en "Rayman: Hoodlum's Revenge", así que el articulo acerca de este segundo nombre de nivel debería llamarse 'La Tierra de los Muertos Vivientes (Rayman: Hoodlum's Revenge)'.

Abreviaciones

Trata de no abreviar títulos. Por ejemplo, 'Rayman (GBC)' se debería llamar 'Rayman (Game Boy Color)' en su lugar.

Caracteres Especiales

Por el momento, los únicos caracteres especiales que están soportados son - (), ! y -. Cualquier otro posiblemente cause un error 404.

Todos los artículos deben comenzar con el titulo del articulo siendo repetido y negritando ('''nombre''') para la énfasis. Italicising

All titles within the article, be it the name of a game or a television show, must be italicised using 2 apostrophes (''title'').

It covers as many of the ''Rayman'' games as possible, such as ''[[Rayman 1|Rayman]],'' ''[[Rayman 2: The Great Escape]]'', ''[[Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc]]'', as well as the ''[[Rayman Raving Rabbids]]'' series. It also covers spin-offs such as ''[[Rayman: The Animated Series]]''.

Links

It is important to link to lots of other articles in each article, as it helps a user to navigate in the Wiki. If the name shows up again, a link needs to be added too, unless it is in a section title.

'''Raywiki''' is a wiki about the ''[[Rayman]] series''. It aims to cover as many of the ''Rayman'' games as possible, as well as its characters, such as [[Ly the Fairy]], [[Globox]], [[Betilla the Fairy]], [[the Magician]], [[Mister Dark]] and many more. It aims to describe the characters as accurately as possible, and also sets them into categories. Ly the Fairy and Betilla the Fairy are both [[Fairy|fairies]], so they would both be placed in the [[Category:Fairies|Fairies category]].

No usar la palabra 'tú'

When referring to, say, playing a certain part of a game, using the word 'you' is not encouraged on this wiki. Instead, either a character's name or 'the player' should be used instead, as it will make the article read more professionally.

Rayman is now in the Pirate strongehold, and the player has to find a switch to deactivate the electric bars.

Asignar una Categoría

Categories help to keep the wiki organised, and helps a user to find similar subjects, so it's important to assign at least one category to an article. If the article is about Rayman, then it should be in the Characters category, while an article about Yellow Lums should be placed in the Items category. Category links always go at the bottom of the article when editing.

Trivia is a series of facts that relate to the subject, but it is usually preferred to incorporate this information in the article body.

Certain pieces of information should be backed up by using a reference. It is done by adding the content of the reference next to the information inside <ref> tags:

• For other sources: Name of book, magazine, game, etc., section

Other points to consider

• Proper spelling and grammar is incredibly important when writing articles.
• Never insert nonsense into an article. That includes fake and unconfirmed Rayman titles.
• Certain pieces of information should be backed up by using a citation.
• Don't just copy from Wikipedia, we can usually tell and most of the time their edits are rubbish.
