Probably a recovery code for two-factor authentication, for your Microsoft account or something else. Sounds like you don't have much to worry about then!

It's true that for a gameplay designed to be very dynamic, the loss of momentum when attacking really slows things down.

I don't think so.

I don't like "cloud" connected apps (like OneDrive), so I uninstall them or don't use them. I do remember receiving a recovery code from Microsoft (like a million years ago), but that's it (unfortunately I don't have the original e-mail, so I can't find exactly what that code does).

I checked in my Privacy and Security settings, and it seems only the Windows 11 Pro Edition has that feature.

Oh, so this is Unity running on a Mac? I've never been able to test it on anything other than Windows so unfortunately I have no idea how well ubi-canvas works there - there might be some incompatibilities.

Does Unity display any error or warning messages in its console window?
