Re: Rayman 2
I don't need help; I did say I eventually found the cage. I was just describing a silly idea I had when younger, and wondering if anyone else had thought the same.
Re: Rayman 2
Thanks, but I just mean that I saw some pillars next to another level (probably the next Sanctuary), later in the Hall of Doors, which I thought may be a hint that there was a way to avoid the collapsing floor and continue past the pillars after it. This was on the N64 version, although I think the ...
Re: Rayman 2
Did anyone else take ages to find the hidden cage (down the tiny corridor, above the bouncy cobwebs) in the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, and wonder if there was a way to avoid falling through the floor and get past the pillars to find them? Specifically, I used to look at the Hall of Doors where ...
Re: Rayman 1
That's hardly off-topic; this is, after all, the Rayman 1 topic.
I've not searched for any more, but I know Jaxxckle does some (alongside level design, hacking, glitching, etc.)

Re: Rayman 1 for PC: Were there 2 versions? 20/25 vs. 51 tracks?
Yes, that was my suspicion initially (once again). But the original game files will play the music from my CD (image) of Gold , and vice versa. Perhaps more crucially, I've since tried mounting an NRG (mixed-mode, with audio, of course) of Forever (which admittedly has unfortunately been edited to ...

Re: Rayman 1 for PC: Were there 2 versions? 20/25 vs. 51 tracks?
I managed to get a download of the Rayman Par Ses Fans DOS files (from the Forever CD), but I can't get it to play music (from my Gold CD/image). The startup messages say "Only sound effects, no CD audio" and the menu option can't be moved from Music: Off. Does anyone have a clue why this might be ...

Re: Rayman 1 for PC: Were there 2 versions? 20/25 vs. 51 tracks?
As I said, that's what I initially thought, but then I translated the text at the top of the blurb, which apparently reads "Add-On for Owners of Rayman " or similar. Maybe that's just a figure of speech, unless it's similar to the standalone Rayman Designer in that the original game is not included ...

Re: Rayman 1 for PC: Were there 2 versions? 20/25 vs. 51 tracks?
To answer my own question: Yes, 100 Niveaux is, according to its official page, the same as Collector.
Edit: Actually, according to the back cover, it may just be an "add-on for owners of Rayman", i.e. not include the original game (and maybe not even Gold).
I'm very confused!

Re: Rayman 1 for PC: Were there 2 versions? 20/25 vs. 51 tracks?
Oh yeah, I should have said that I don't expect Collector to have the separated tracks; I'm just getting it for the many new levels.
I take it there's definitely no point in getting 100 Niveaux ? Its cover makes it look like it's simply a renaming of Collector . I read that there's also an ...

Re: Rayman 1 for PC: Were there 2 versions? 20/25 vs. 51 tracks?
RayFan9876, unlucky about your hard drive troubles! :/ My laptop's battery died, so it must be plugged in all the time, but thankfully I have no disk problems (besides my laptop HD and iPod not being big enough for everything I want to store/download :D). Still, I'm sure one of them is scheduled to ...

Re: Rayman 1 for PC: Were there 2 versions? 20/25 vs. 51 tracks?
Excellent, thank you for the confirmation! Hopefully it'll still be available on eBay when I have money. Is this edition OK? (i.e. not music-less like the UK Focus verison of Gold or anything daft) http://www.amazon.fr/Mindscape-Rayman-Collector-Hits-Collection/dp/B00009XC3M

Thanks for the replies. Ah, I misread the linked thread; it's RayFan9876 that apparently has it? Maybe you guys are right, and only one copy was made! :D I've just been shooting questions to various sellers on eBay, but had no luck so far either. Ah well!

Rayman 1 for PC: Were there 2 versions? 20/25 vs. 51 tracks?
<r>Hi all,<br/>

I was pleased to find a proper version of <I><s></s>Rayman Gold<e></e></I> (i.e. with music, not the Focus edition) on eBay, and even more pleased when I tried DOSBox and found that it after almost no configuration (and using a bin/cue image, since OS X DOSBox can't read ...
