Are so many of these old fansites still around? I'd call it nostalgia... but I was an edgy teenager back then, so my memories of that age were pretty skewed, lol.
Also, how am I still #3 on the leaderboard for Rayman 3 on GameCube? Dang.

Re: Any questions on this board?
Looks like we're not going anywhere! Surely, forums have lost a lot of steam over the past decade, but given this context, I think we're doing pretty well. After all, so many websites have already closed theirs , but ours are still reasonably active and home to a dedicated bunch of regulars ...

Re: Any questions on this board?
Good grief, this place is still around? It just arbitrarily popped into my head recently when I watched a Rayman 3 vid. Outlasted Raymanzone by a good 19 years or so, lol. Congratulations on twenty.

Re: Any questions on this board?
Here I come, floating in again. Pirate-Community's still up and going strong. This old Block's horribly out of touch with the Rayman world, so just popping in to say hi and how's it going.
Yep.

Re: Any questions on this board?
By R4, I actually mean Raving Rabbids. I've just always called it that.

Re: Any questions on this board?
I'm okay, though work is pretty annoying. Picking up garbage in a park isn't all it's cracked up to be.
I'm sort of just passing through as my interest in the Rayman series is near zero right now. Personally, I think Rayman's lost his ways ever since R4 came out.

Re: Any questions on this board?
Wow, this place is STILL active? I have to admit, I'm impressed. Haven't been around RZ (or whatever it's called now) for a long time and doubt I'll ever go back.
Then again, does anyone remember who I am?

Re: Will there be a score system in Rayman Raving Rabbids?
Oh. That'll be tricky since not everyone has a digital camera and/or scanner handy.
I say that there should be two seperate HoFs (like they have in R3). One for PC and one for consoles. High scores on PC would be easy to prove, but we have to leave console up to the admins' judgement.

Re: Will there be a score system in Rayman Raving Rabbids?
You don't need a camera. Just press Print Screen on your keyboard, paste the image in MS Paint, upload it to a website (like Photobucket) and link it here.
It's the easiest method you can use without fumbling around with scanners.

Re: Will there be a score system in Rayman Raving Rabbids?
If Pirate-Community has a HoF, we could easily deal with cheats ourselves, unlike Ubisoft who doesn't seem to care whatsoever.
Though for anyone who scores really high, we might have to ask them for proof, so we can be sure they aren't cheats.

Re: Important Information
I could easily make a drama novel with all this stuff about the old RZ. It's just so simple how all of this falls into place. Unfair bans, lazy admins, "tyranical" mods, October 11th, ARZO, the hacking, the aftermath... and the list goes on.

Re: Important Information
^I agree with that 100%.
However, you have to remember that ARZO is run by a bunch of small-minded jerks. I say let them hack and face the conequences. Seems like the only reliable way to have them torn apart.

Re: Who will be Rayman's "old enemy" in Rayman4?
To recap what I've said:
The Rabbids have been planning the attack for a millenium, but have never had the courage to actually go through with it. After Andre was revived at the end of R3, he stumbled across the Rabbids hideout, where he used the Black Lums to infect and control the Rabbids, thus ...

Re: Who will be Rayman's "old enemy" in Rayman4?
I think we can safely outlaw Razorbeard. He's too serious a villain to be caught up with this nonsense. Mr. Dark and Andre are both viable options, though.

Re: Important Information
If you remember RZ before R3 came out, it seemed very much like it is now. Lots of info and people getting along with competent mods.
That changed not long after R3 came out. The mods left, people spammed and fought, and it basically collapsed (to the point of October 11th).

Re: Important Information
When you get down to the end, the only good Rayman forum is the one ran by a fan, not by the company.

Re: Will there be a score system in Rayman Raving Rabbids?
Don't know. Then you'd be swamped with noobs asking how to take screenshots (they don't usually look at stickys).
Not a bad idea in retrospect, but execution would be difficult.

Re: Will there be a score system in Rayman Raving Rabbids?
I hope that the R4 scoring system is similar to R2's, with a set amount of pickups (not necessarily lums) to find.
Or, if you guys are just begging for a HoF, why not make it for a minigame or something?

Re: Important Information
Hoodcom, don't even try. Based on the replies and messages I've seen from ARZO members/supporters, they can't be persuaded with mere words.
To anyone who thinks the RZ mods are or have ever been "tyranical", I devote your attention to a certain man named Josef Stalin. He was a tyrant. Can you even ...

Re: Important Information
I remember the day after the forums got hacked, I sent an e-mail to Ubisoft explaining the situation. What did I get? Automatic response.
From December until April, I got NOTHING but automatic responses or "please try these links". Shows how much Ubisoft's customer service department cares.
