Re: Minecraft

I've been on a little Minecraft kick lately, I got sucked back in watching people on Youtube play the old beta and alpha versions and reminisce about how primitive and kind of eerie those versions were. After some digging I actually managed to recover a couple of my old maps from 2011-2013 and blew ...

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread

I'll probably take a wait-and-see approach if one gets distributed, I'm a little scared that vaccines are being rushed for the sake of being the first on the market or because politicians' re-election bids might hinge on the state of the pandemic. Once there is one that's proving to work over a ...

I finally decided to check Sonic Youth out this year and I'm sooo glad I did, I hate that I've been sleeping on these guys for so long. They incorporate almost everything I like in my indie rock, it's like my imaginary ideal fantasy band came to life. :v

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread

Pineapple on pizza is fine! It's the only meal I actually like pineapple with. It's pineapple in rice dishes that I don't like, there's just something about the way the textures and flavors blend together that's really off-putting to me.

Re: Politics - your views

Yea alright, we can do the US election I guess, even tho I'm a little sick of hearing about it at this point :boon: Um...is there a way to clear the votes from the previous poll?

I just checked out of the election back in April honestly, when Bernie dropped out. I was stoked about his campaign and ...

Since we have a veganism thread going, here's one: people who mock vegans in that really cheap, lazy, "haha I'm gonna eat a big steak just to spite vegans" way. It's almost always missing the point and the jokes themselves haven't progressed at all since a decade ago, it's like boomer humor for ...

Re: Vegetarianism and veganism, an urban trend?

I tried part-time veganism (vegan for 2 out of 3 daily meals) last year and I actually liked it more than I thought I would! I felt much healthier and it really forced me to expand my food palate so it wouldn't get boring. I don't think I could ever commit to doing it full-time though... I just like ...

Re: Do you comfort eat?

I comfort eat wayyy too much, basically anytime I'm bored or annoyed my first instinct is to grab something to eat. It's like the only thing keeping me from being fully in shape anymore, but I just can't seem to kick the habit for some reason

Little Nightmares: I had a really great time with this, I picked it up almost entirely for its art and I'm happy that was the main focus of the game too: incredible atmosphere and beautiful visuals that were right up my alley of like creepy, surrealistic settings to tell stories in ...

Re: Eurovision OMFG

I'm a little sour about Israel winning because they've been pretty open and upfront about wanting to use the contest to basically whitewash themselves and turn it into a propagandic shitshow, and I liked that people told Russia to fuck off with that back in 2016. It was kinda satisfying to see that ...

Re: Music from the past vs. Today's music

I have a preference in the sense that most of what I listen to released in the past 25 years, but I think that's largely because of the wider range of sound available today and that some artists are easier to identify with in the context of your own generation. It's to a point where I think music is ...
