Much closer to the right date with that, but it's still not it.

Re: TTQ: Season 118 – Steo

Not it unfortunately, there's another one that wasn't natively backwards compatible, but it was added much more recently.

Re: TTQ: Season 118 – Steo

I'll allow all to reanswer again, and the big hint is "backwards compatibility". ;)

Re: Discord server

This one is open again too if anyone is interested https://discord.gg/rzqWXxD I really like RPC and Rayman in general, so I don't want any nonsense. I want everyone to just get along and nobody on there to slander RPC or any other Rayman community. We all like the same thing, Rayman, so we should be...

Re: Rayman 1

I never did try, but maybe you can use xpadder to map the dpad buttons to the ones on the keyboard that are used for directions.

I can play Origins/Legends with the analog stick, but Rayman 1 is not the same, you'd need a dpad.

Re: Rayman 1

It has a few bugs on the Classic yeah. None are actually game breaking though is the good thing, just simple graphical glitches, though I heard of some levels even slowing down (dropping in fps). I can't confirm it as I don't have the classic, but that's going off a Digital Foundry video I watched a...

Re: Unpopular opinions on Rayman

It's an "opinion", not a "fact". Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If what you said was the case, then I'd have to argue about the "fact" that the Ubiart games are amazing. You don't think they are amazing like I do, so it's your "opinion" that they're not and mine that they are. At the end...

Re: Make your own dumb Rayman theories!

The real reason Globox turned blue, is because it just happened suddenly while he was listening to "Eiffel 65 - Blue (Da Ba Dee)".

Re: Rayman2.exe has stopped working

Well, the I3-330M might just be fast enough to software-render the whole thing. It's a two-decade old game, after all. Let's have timeforalesson try it and report on how it worked. :D I'm hoping it actually will work for them, but I'm going by what this says in the thread they linked us to: (smooth...

Re: Rayman 1

I just got the PC version from GOG and was literally thinking this. As I’ve always played the PS1 version (and GBA) I was surprised at how many of these differences there are between versions. I can’t adjust to the different ting sound. the PS1 sound is just perfect. That's the thing about the othe...

Re: Rayman 1

I also really like the MIDI from PS1 and find Picture City Beat really catchy. As for them removing the voice acting in ports, it's rather strange. Saying that, Rayman 2 was ported from Dreamcast to 3DS and iOS, but why did they remove Globox Village in both? They do some unusual things with ports.

Re: Rayman himself

I have no problem with either costume, but I do really like the hoodie personally tbh. I really like Origins and would never have joined here or got back into the series if it hadn't been for that game, so I really like it for that and the fact that it has amazing artwork and is overall just a reall...

Re: Rayman 1

Anyone else find it weird that each version of Rayman 1 has some sort of weird oddity and changes? I grew up on Pal Ps1 Rayman and i remember years ago downloading an NTSC rom to play only to find the magicians voice changed, but it doesn't stop there! For some reason the Saturn has a record scratc...

Re: Rayman2.exe has stopped working

It's normal for that black screen thing to happen. It's a little annoying, but at least once the game starts it will work fine. Unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to run that with Intel HD Graphics. It will work, but it will likely run at a really low fps, though you can always try it and re...

Re: What games are you currently playing?

I'm a bit late to the party with this once, but I've also started playing BOTW, it's probably one of the first open world games that I've really gotten sucked into. BOTW really is amazing. I still never finished it completely, but I put crazy hours into it nevertheless. It's really addicting once y...
