Rayman 3 - Rayman 2 development?

Hi all,

I'm new here, i hope this is in the right place, i've read and lurked the rayman 3 thread a couple dozen times and heard that Rayman 3 originally started development with the style of Rayman 2, with it's health bars and character models and of course different story... with that in question, are there any screenshots of rayman 3 in it's early development stages? I saw images on "Unseen64", a game beta archive website but im sure there's more than just those images.

Well, that's actually depends, you meant in Rayman 2 style? I spent most of my time searching of these, IIRC, there's actually none of other screenshots about this <.<

Yeah, like, i've seen pictures of Rayman 3, when it was in development for example there's a picture of the first time you fight reflux, but it's all downgraded in terms of graphics and the rayman 2 health bar is present. Are they the only screenshots? I'm just surprised that's all we have of the early stages of Rayman 3.

I wouldn't be surprised if the bottom icon came from the HD remakes, they did resort to using R2 Ray for some of their icons, if memory serves.

Maybe you're talking about the Nintendo DS version of Raving Rabbids? It uses the same engine and Rayman model from "Rayman 2". Even some of the music as well. It was horrible and really boring to play (too linear), but still interesting if you're a huge fan of Rayman 2.
