Which version should I buy?
Hello, I just want to start out that I'm pretty new to these forums and I'm sorry if I break any rule.
So my question is, I am going to buy Rayman Legends soonish and I wonder which version I should buy. I will choose between PS4 version and the PS Vita version. Which would you buy and why? I like to play on the PS4 but it would also be awesome to play on the Vita since usually carry it with me and plays on it during breaks in school etc. Playing Rayman 1 right now on the vita and I love it.
Thanks for answers!

Hello there, Dexter! You may want to introduce yourself in the topic 'bout it.
As for a version of RL, I would choose PS Vita. I'm not sure about pros and cons, you may want to look them up.

The Vita version has exclusive content that none of the other versions have, primarily the Relics, which are hidden areas you can access that reveal Ramayana lore. Additionally, you have the screen-zooming feature, which is brilliant.

Pretty sure you're talking about the Vita version of Origins there, Ad.
As for PS4 vs PS Vita, well, from the top of my head, I admit I can only go by from what I've heard, I've not played either PS4 or PSVita. The PSVita uses the Wii U control scheme whenever Murfy's on the screen, meaning you control him via the touch screen, and the player character becomes AI controlled. The PS4 version was reported to have no load screens, whether or not that's a major boon is up to you. In addition, there probably wouldn't be any local co-op on the vita, if you're bothered by that sort of thing.

I didn't play those versions either but didn't the PS Vita version included exclusive extra levels?

I have the vita version and can confirm extra levels. There's a few (five, I think) Murphy challenge levels. You unlock them by collecting teensies. Besides that, the game is exactly the same. Looks fantastic on the Vita screen, though!

Re: Which version should I buy?
I suggest the vita version, as it has the wii u's touch gameplay, and some added levels!
Re: Which version should I buy?
I know what I am gonna say is pretty much contraditory but they could always consider a DLC of those extra levels.

It should be nice if anyone take screenshots of it for the RayWiki!Adsolution wrote:The Vita version has exclusive content that none of the other versions have, primarily the Relics, which are hidden areas you can access that reveal Ramayana lore. Re: Which version should I buy?
Just if you are a trophy hunter and like to 100% your games, please note that the Vita version of Rayman Legends requires you to get at least one diamond trophy on a daily challenge. Considering most days there are only like 300-400 players that means you have to be in the top 3 when there's some people who are crazy good. You can try weeklies for about 1000 players but then again, top 10 is still hard. The playerbase keeps getting smaller too. Just warning you because I recently platted Rayman Legends on Vita and that Diamond trophy was way more agony than just getting level 11 Awesomeness.
On the other hand the 360, XBONE,PS4, and PS3 trophies/achievements only require the easy gold trophy in a daily challenge.

We asked a member to do that before but it seems we need other members to do so.Harpic fraîcheur wrote:It should be nice if anyone take screenshots of it for the RayWiki!Adsolution wrote:The Vita version has exclusive content that none of the other versions have, primarily the Relics, which are hidden areas you can access that reveal Ramayana lore. Stoppy the stop telling the mods what to do!
This topic could just as well serve for other members interested in differences between different versions, etcetera.
As of now there is no real reason to lock this topic.

Re: Which version should I buy?
Hmm, if there's legitimate discussion to be had, then this topic doesn't need locking. That being said, this thread could probably have been easily merged with the mainstream RL thread. Regardless, I think this thread could serve a constructive purpose, as such, I'm ok with it being open for now.
