So... they keep saying register both the 3DS and Wii U version of Smash Brothers to obtain MewTwo DCL and the game soundtrack... (Though too late to register now for the soundtrack. )
However, here's one problem... NEITHER one of my new Smash Brothers games, which I pre-ordered and got on the day of release or soon after... came with any cards to register on Club Nintendo like I've seen older games do.
IS there a new registration method or did they rip people off on this?
Most likely this scenario. Not sure if Nintendo of america is doing it differently, but here in europe every new nintendo game should be equipped with the pin code to register to your Nintendo Club account.
• If you buy the packaged versions, find the Club Nintendo insert* inside, and then enter the registration code on the Club Nintendo website.
• If you buy the games from Nintendo eShop, link your Wii U and Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS systems to your Club Nintendo account prior to buying the games to automatically register.
*The PIN is printed on the underside of the game cover sleeve.
Hmm, underside of the game cover sleeve? The hell did they change it to this for? Make it more complicated? We used to have separate cards.

Do not confuse safety measures with selfish measures. According to NintendoLife, they decided to disable the online mode due to similar offensive actions done by users just like it happened with the Letterbox and forced Nintendo to do that: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/1 ... d_in_japan

Not saying they did it for selfish measures but still, they shouldn't have punished all people. And why is nothing like that done for Wii U and only 3DS? For example, Wii U has PM option for members on Miiverse and also Wii U Chat app which is similar to Skype in some ways and they are not online disabled.
