When you're scared to approach people because you don't want to get in their space, but you also want to get to know this person better and have no reason to assume they don't want the same, except you do find yourself assuming that because that's how you're wired. There's a word for it which isn't hedgehog's dilemma... more like, one hedgehog who's so damn spiky it can't see more than 3 feet in front of it...'s dilemma. Tch.

I get the feeling a lot of people are a bit shy like that nowadays, Candy - but there's not really a reason to be so. If you're in someone's personal space and they don't like it, they'll be hell-a sure to let you know. If they don't let you know verbally, there's probably a body-lingual thing about them you can spot out that tells you they're uncomfortable. And if there's neither, they're not uncomfortable - rather, they may be enjoying your company!

++++ got a 4 on my percussion exam! I swear, this semester I HAVE to get a 5 (highest possible). The race between me and my friend has begun! Though I'm still pretty fucking good cuz he's been playing for 7 years and I've been playing for 4 years and I've already caught up to him and even played most of the exam better than him lol.
