At least the Miiverse is moderated, so there's a control. Concerning the Wii U Chat, so far I think nobody remembered to use it for similar purposes (and I hope it doesn't happen).
It sounds disgusting that they'd rather close a channel of communications than get the underlying problem solved. Where's the fairness for the community that did use the Flipnote 3D and other places for their intended use? I've met some lovely people over the year I spent on the original Flipnote Hatena.
My Wii U wouldn't register for Club Nintendo for like 4 weeks, and they finally responded to my email with something like "After looking at your account, we can see that it is in fact registered" blah blah blah, and than they proceeded with the same old patronising instructions they always have...
It was definitely not registered, I checked the day I got the email, and only after I received it did the Wii U show up in my account.
They kept saying "make sure you don't miss it" and all that bollocks. What the hell? They could have at lest came clean and said it was a mistake... It's supposed to register in a maximum of 2 days, I think.
I couldn't respond with an email similar to this though, I love Nintendo too much.
I'm sorry but why does anyone even use Miiverse to communicate at all? The community is downright autistic (and I'm not saying that harshly that is a good chunk of the community).
Did you hear Miiverse started banning people for discussing Project M on the Smash Community? Seriously, what the fuck Nintendo. The miiverse community really needs to be more like STEAM, the amount of freedom of speech being held by Nintendo is horrifying. I can't stand Miiverse for this reason.
Anyways I'm very likely picking up that new 3DS with Majoras Mask and Monster Hunter 4 on first day, turns out my game store is doing a deal if you trade in your old 3DS or 3DS XL you get $100 credit off from the new 3ds XL, meaning it will only cost me half from what it initially is, so happy about that.
I'm on the ship as Rayfist. Miiverse just isn't captivating as other social networks in the gaming community. I barely use it. It's too clunky for my taste.
