Also, why do the executables need to be run as administrator? When you think about it, it seems a bit suspicious!
Hi, thanks for replying.
I tried [ENTER] key method as you suggested, and it worked perfectly !! Oh, my.
I also have old Windows 98 SE PC, so I tried original "Rayman Designer" installed in it, and in this case [SPACE] key worked perfectly for choosing maps of each world.
Humm...... I wonder that this issue IS only in RaymanOptimum_v140.exe ?

*sigh*
Anyway, I've been having a bit of trouble with the game treating any input I press while loading after a death as something I'm holding right then, and while it is entirely fixable (and hence why I hadn't posted about it until now), it's a bit annoying to have something you do by habit actually act as a danger when you're playing. This is possibly a glitch with the game itself I suppose, but I don't remember this happening with my old DOSBox configuration.
Do you have that old DOSBox config still? It might be worth checking the differences to see what's acting up. Haven't had this issue myself actually, but I also haven't played the game all that much. It'd be nice to get the game 100% working with the next release.
Right, I forgot about this a for a while, but here.
Also, here's a video I recorded when I was using that old DOSBox config:
Also, something I was wondering: could you possibly remap the controller buttons for DOSBox so the D-Pad works natively with XInput controllers, as well as the shoulder buttons for crawling? I'd prefer to use a gamepad, but using the left thumbstick to control Rayman's movement is very awkward, much moreso than just using a good keyboard control configuration.

I deefonertly agree with this idea.

I wonder if perhaps, since you are young and headstrong, you are unaware of how important - nay, fundamental - to the very being of RPC 'definately' is.

One of my earlier ideas was to convert this into a patch that works with the GoG.com release of Rayman (and extends it with the missing content), but omar would have none of it and me being a graphic guy (even though I'm the project leader now) doesn't really help much.
I very much would like to steer this project into an as-legal-as-possible route, but I literally can't do jack shit.
