Re: Off Topic
It was an ATR72 and was carrying 58 passangers.
And sorry, I yet did not find any information whether the crew survived or not....
Well shit... :/The Associated Press is reporting that the death toll from the accident has risen to 25, with 18 people still unaccounted for.

Bad luck I guess
Re: Off Topic
Or maybe their economic policy of cost-cutting for rentability (which include the "how to be a good pilot" kind of studies) come back to bite them.

Re: Off Topic
To be fair, one of those incidents was an accident of war...
Re: Off Topic
Pop into the off topic thread and the current subject is war, this can only go well...
Re: Off Topic
Well... To quote the opening of Metal Gear Solid 4 : "War has changed... your opinion of this topic"

Re: Off Topic
Is it just me, or is this ad legitimately backwards?

Of course taste is subjective, but surely enough people must agree with this ad for there to even be an ad about it? I've searched it up, people are so often trying to go from that vibrant 'brass' colour to this duller, greyer ash colour. I think the brassy colour is far more stunning than that so-called 'classy' colour. In what universe is the latter more ideal? Like wtf, even the left picture I'd call far classier than the right one, it looks majestic, and the hair colour is lively and gorgeous. The right one, especially with that horrible choice of lipstick looks like a cheap, slutty selfie with dirty, unwashed hair.
Unless the term 'classy' has garnered a new meaning.

Re: Off Topic
What a strange ad... I mean, that's literally the opposite of what most colour-related hair care tries to do. It's normally all about enhancing the colour, especially since coloured hair tends to lose vibrancy. There is the issue of some coloured hair going an odd shade, but that picture doen't demonstrate it. Well, if that's what someone wants, all the more power to them!

I talked with my parents about dying my hair once. They were like "eeeh? Boys with your style never dye their hair...".
So only emos and punks have the right to, apparently...seems the stereotype comes right from America there. Even with that, many French people think dying one's hair is not a good thing for "social appearance".
Maybe i'll try to dye a lock in the future. A red one, to look like Celldweller, in a veeeeery discrete way.
