I really want Majora's Mask 3D but I don't have the funds to purchase it when it releases. I also want to buy OOT 3D with it, so it might have to wait a while. I'm picking up the "New" 3DS on my birthday since I stated that I plan on keeping my current model for a bit longer.

So it seems OCG wasn't kidding. Those who planned to get Ocarina of Time 3D, find a copy now, prices are drastically increasing.

Yeah, I saw this coming. Star Fox 64 3D is also in the same situation. I'm glad I got a copy of Kid Icarus: Uprising 'cuz that's also rare.

If it makes you feel any better, I haven't played any Zelda either.

Star Fox 64 3D I will have to snag eventually.

What I don't understand is why doesn't Nintendo just re-print these for a 'players choice' edition or something? The games did sell well. Unfortunately Star Fox 3D is $50 now, I'm going to guess Nintendo is ceasing production because of the fact you can buy these digitally now.

I now regret not buying Star Fox 64 3D locally on one site for $30

Nintendo needs to get their DRM shit together before I'll start buying all digital. AFAIK downloaded games are still bound to the hardware, which is downright ridiculous.

If I want to play Majora's Mask on the train on a small 3DS, and then play some more at home on an XL, I have to do this with a physical copy, so that's what I'll do.

They did do that. They lowered down the prices for Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Mario Kart 7, and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D.

Also, some news of a Banko Tooie spiritual successor.

Ooh, I think my nipples just leaked some hype-juice. This sounds like a good idea to me, there's a huge void where 3D platformers used to be!

Yeah, I agree. I'd find OOT first. I really hope Nintendo makes more reprints, but that is a slim chance seeing how much of a wonderful job at keeping their products stocked.

Anyways, here's a teaser image of "Project Ukulele" (which I must add is a really nice touch/call back).

Huge platforming fan here, really looking forward to this and a Hat in Time. I haven't really heard much recent news of A Hat in Time but I hope to goodness that's still going. I feel we live in a day and age where really platformers are very far between, yeah we got Rayman Legends which was fantastic, but then you have the constantly rehashed Mario which rarely is adding much new these days. Another 3D collectathon in the vein of Banjo-Kazooie would be really dope, can't wait to hear more.

Looking at that picture with the brightness raised a bit...

I never understood the need of the Nintendo Select reprints. Wouldn't the reprints of the original covers of the games be cheaper?

True, but I don't understand why it matters so much to people as well.
I've seen collectors refuse to buy a 'greatest hits' edition of a PS1 game. I think that's really laughable, it's the same game, just the label is a different color, with the price games go for nowadays, I'm more than happy to take a greatest hits version.
