Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Their explanation is understandable. Imagine the bureocracies with dozens and dozens of television operators spreaded in all countries of Europe.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I'm incredibly confused...
Has Flipnote 3D been released in Europe? I can't find anything about it anywhere...

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Nope, and the tentative release date is "2015"
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I got it. *draws*
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Ok, this Nintendo Anime Channel on EU eShop fucking sucks. Many people would assume I say that because there is no Japanese dub but that is not the case. It has worst region lock ever. I downloaded it and I saw it on eShop it has dubs on many EU languages including Russian. I was excited because after Japanese, Russian is my favourite language so I thought it would be great to watch Kirby and Pokemon on Russian. But after I downloaded app, I was greeted with worst possible region lock ever. This application checks from what country is your Nintendo Network ID. Since on mine it says UK, they would automatically connect me on English servers for Anime and I dislike English dubs of Kirby and Pokemon. But thats not the worst part. They than checked my location with WiFi IP address and concluded that country of my NNID and my current location do not match and claim that this service is not avalible in my region and won't play Anime on any language at all and I can't do anything
This truly sucks, I am tired of these discriminations. Before anyone tries to say that maybe other countries are restricted, I want to point out that this service is regularry avalible in 95% of Europe. Fuck this shit.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Hm... is Flipnote 3D out yet? I should pick it up from Club Nintendo if it is. I have millions of memories of just viewing other people's stuff on DSi flipnote.
It's literally the Deviantart community on DS, and it was hilarious. Some animations great, but a lot of roleplaying weirdo's and such. Can't wait to see that in 3D!

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
@OCG I don't have any complaints about the channel. I tried watching Kirby and the audio quality in English is very good.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Huh, so it wasn't on Portuguese for you?
I guess maybe Portuguese dub was never made so they just play English dub in your region. Either way, it is really unfair how I cannot even start the channel at all
I tried to use proxy to make them think I am connecting from UK but then they just have error that they cannot verify my NNID at all.
Does anyone know if using VPN on WiFi connection is possible? With VPN's there are never verification problems. I used Russian VPN on Steam all the time and it works. Main issue is that VPN does not change my WiFi location. Can anyone help me with that?
Also, why would they even check your location with WiFi? Just let everyone watch Anime damnit!
Kirby and Pokemon were also broadcasted on local TV here so there cannot be licencing issues with that. Only Inazuma Eleven never broadcasted here so why not just block that Anime?

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Kirby was never broadcasted here so there's no Portuguese dub for us. Now for Pokémon, I believe it is more because of contracts because although we had a dub for it, I can only watch it in English in this channel.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
So despite Kirby never being broadcasted in Portugal, Anime channel is not blocked there, yet Kirby was broadcasted where I live for several years and I cannot even start the channel at all.
Thats some serious bullshit Nintendo. This is the ultimate proof that I am fully right when I say Nintendo is discriminating me and the whole region where I live in every single way and this Anime channel is just another example of series of discriminations I faced many years. Only thing I ever wanted was to be able to normally log onto Nintendo website, officially use their shop service, normally be able to put my real address, order Club Nintendo stuff, have fun, connect to all Nintendo services avalible across Europe and be a happy gamer like everyone else. But no, I have been forced my entire life to find a loopholes of many things, bypass sanctions and restrictions and just do everything hard way not only in Nintendo related things but in general. I guess I will always be discriminated. And I don't want others pointing out that US for example does not even have this channel and try to justify it. US has many other privilages Nintendo related and can I have them? Nope.
I feel deeply hurt with this and I want Nintendo to stop doing this
What is so hard about enabling the damn thing accross whole Europe? Why can 99% of Europe have it but not me?

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
That really tasseles my tangerines.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I am sure this would be rarest Amiibo if it existed.

Either way, it's not nice to buy everything for yourself. Not a big fan of scalping.

I wish the biggest of buses to hit these people.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Nice picture mountage.
I would definitely buy one as soon as I would see one.
But yes, this kind of reality going on around the amiibos upset me. I prefer to never have the amiibos I couldn't catch than supporting scalpers.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
If some Amiibos are no longer avalible in stores, best thing to do is import from Japan since Japanese sellers are not scalpers and Amiibos are region free

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Which one do you want? There's a store here that'll sell each of them (afaik) at 15~25 euros.Haruka wrote:Well, I am not favouring periphericals but it would also have been nice if the amiibos were not costy. The crazy demand and the greedy opportunists out there forced me to act now before I regret later. I also don't feel in the mood to give away 80€ for a figurine like some sellers are desiring.
I'm jumping on the chance of getting a Shulk Amiibo. I'm gonna pet him and nurture him and make him the most evil adversary you could have in Smash Bros. >:)

holy crap i just noticed i quoted this from like five weeks ago
sorry
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Well, it has been difficult for me to find Kirby, Zelda, Sheik, Toon Link and Rosalina & Luma. I regret not having bought Wii Fit Trainer while I could, but I also do not understand why only around a month later Nintendo admits these first figures would be discontinued.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I wonder if anyone will manage to get Rosalina & Luma at all.

>Rosalina and Luma
>Wii Fit Trainer
Literally two of the worst newcomers.
Now I'm seeking out Megaman who is pretty tough, going on ebay for more than your casual amiibo. Quite surprisingly I've found the casual ones like Mario and Yoshi very easily.
@Shroob
I also want Shulk to use in Xenoblade Chronicles 3D when it comes out. Too bad that's one of the hardest to find amiibos.
