While reminiscing on the movie after reading this, I discovered someone had written an opera about it. That's something I'll have to see at some point.

- On one hand I feel incredibly lonely, but then when someone actually shows some sign of interest in me it just exhausts and stresses me. Nothing like rejecting an opportunity you probably would have enjoyed.

On one hand you might be able to see this as a plethora of opportunity, as it sounds like this has happened at least a few times. Maybe one day you'll be feeling in the right mood at the right time, and maybe it won't even be next time, but the odds are certainly in your favour of it happening eventually, and will only increase exponentially with time.

I feel like I can't make any progress

Well, consider that you're sixteen and how much you've changed in just the past two or three years. You've made a ton of progress regarding realising your own position and what it is you have to do.

I still would really, really like to come down and visit you sometime, I feel it would be a great experience.

I remember reading about something like that: fanclubs, conventions, Liszt cosplaying parties, competitions and whatnot. It surely would've been something interesting to experience. I mean, the man personally decided the fate of the piano for all future generations through his immense following. He's the one who influenced that performers should face profile to the audience because of its brilliant aesthetic appeal, and opened up a whole new perspective on the instrument by writing both some of the most technically challenging and beautiful works for it to date. Not only was he a composer with swag, he's cited as being one of the greatest players who ever lived.

-- SO, juuust for those of you who love it when I talk about my period, yesterday I discovered that there were no pads of the right absorbency in the house. In fact, there were no menstrual pads at all. In their place, for some reason... weak bladder pads. The kind of things 60 year olds wear for mild incontinence. So < slept in moderate discomfort the entire night because these are NOT nice to wear dammit. ALL over my face, blech!

Absolution, the Muse album that contains Sing for Absolution, is actually where I got my new username from. I thought flipping the B was cool, and I intended for people to interpret it either as being based off of "absolution" or "ad solution" to cause minor drama, huehueh.

+ Good games on League of Legends yesterday. I was able to do a lot of good stuff on my own, including unreal solo kills in unfavourable matchups. Not carrying yet, but hue...
