That reminds me of the time I accused you of having a filthy mind. :P I since discovered my own is probably much filthier, so don't feel bad. :P

Yeah, how would everyone feel about there being a 1.6.4 minecraft forge survival server full of awesome mods, such as ComputerCraft, TinkersConstruct, Archimedes' Ships, and oh 125+ other things packed in. :)

We've discussed the hardcore aspect, and I think we're agreed in saying that we're not all for that. Is it possible to put polls in your server?

As for Role's, sadly no. You can always lay claim to that robot I built at Noobiton's southern entrance.

Excellent, feel free to add the Role's touch whenever you drop in.

In the meantime, I'm building my own robot army in the palace.

1.6.4 mods sounds fun, but honestly 1.7.1 development has progressed a lot since and most fun mods are so outdated in their 1.6.4 form. But - it's your server after all; do whatever you like.

I can only wonder what might happen if you want to downgrade your server from 1.8.1 to an earlier version. Shennanigans will be afoot.

Well, a good chunk of what I've made in Noobiton would vanish if that happens, I know that much.

There's zero reason to downgrade anything. All I have to do is add a server. :P

Also I meant 1.7.10 for obvious reasons. Nomenclature mismatch, is all.

Yeah, it always did bug me when version numbers go over the .9 mark, I remember poking a bit of fun at OSX Yosemite due to it being version 10.10.

I ended up realizing what you meant anyway.

So I'm working on the mod pack for us to enjoy, mostly testing things at this point. Master and I found out that we absolutely had to removed Dalek Mod from the pack. As cool as it was, it just wasn't stable server side. (I am assuming due to an older Forge version, which is due to having to use what I could of Cauldron which hasn't gotten updates thanks to someone who wanted to ruin the fun for everyone.)

I went ahead and tweeted the team that are behind the Dalek Mod and see what the Forge requirements are. Client side it works fine and dandy on single player. Anyway, if there's a chance to make it work, then I'll consider adding it again.

Also, another plugin of interest, which I didn't keep is a weather plugin. It halved my frame rate on my laptop from 120 to 60FPS. Which was a concern as some players would struggle getting at least 60 consistently as it is, and don't need a mod that'll knock it down.

Anyway, here's a list of current plugins. Version 4 is what's in the works.

Code: Select all

AbyssalCraft
Advanced Machines
Advanced Repulsion Systems
Applied Energistics 2
Archimedes Ships
Baubles
Better Storage
Biblio Craft
Biblio Woods (BiomesOPlenty, Forestry, and Natura.)

Tabby Chat
Tinker's Construct
Telepads
Thermal Expansion

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to post it here. Or if anyone knows of any more add-ons to computer craft for example that they might like to see. Keep in mind, Minecraft 1.7.10 is the version of this pack.

*Edit*

Got version 5 in the works.

Everything in the list above, plus a couple more mods (possibly). Though also updating some existing mods.

Wait, AE2? So it is a 1.7.10 version? Thought you said it was a 1.6.4 MC modpack?

You sure? I don't remember that. Either case, what I have here are indeed 1.7.10 items.

Working on Version 8 pack, which includes more updated mod versions, edited configs for some compatibility, and I've got Thaumcraft added. Was going to re-do pack 7 but meh.

Still have been testing things before I really release anything. Server side and client.

Could you take a look at Remain in Motion? It's a lovely mod that can add so much creative freedom. It's basically RedPower's old Frame technology, refined and, may I boldly pose, perfected. It allows you to move blocks, including machines, including their state, charge, inventory, orientation - everything. It's like the block was always meant to move around the world.

The RIM frames are truly godly toys in MC. It is, besides ComputerCraft, my favourite mod ever, slam-dunk.

Sure, I'll test it right now. :)

I sure did miss that old frame tech, this has my interests too.

Anyway, this may be the last thing to add before we get pretty serious here.

*Edit*

No not quite the last thing but it's certainly a keeper! :)
